Upon landing, received an email saying our 3 bedroom was not available and now a 2 bedroom, someone now had to sleep on the couch. Still had to pay for 3 bedroom. Get to room, it is not done being built. Dishwasher not mounted to cabinet, not proper cookware, pool not filled. First morning cockroach in bathroom, toilet wouldn't fill (I fixed that) ants infesting couch one of my kids was sleeping on.
Need to leave room for 3 hours for fumigation, which didn't work, roaches next day too. Construction all around in every other unit. Noise of tile saws and metal banging all day long. 2nd toilet clogged and no plunger in room. Called front desk, was told someone would come by. Next day still no plunger or working toilet, called front desk again and hung up on. Went to front desk to ask for plunger and told to call reservations, they have no plungers (while smiling the whole time) Went to bathroom by front desk and found a plunger in there. Fixed 2nd toilet myself.
Leave for home, as soon as we land, I get a death threat via text. Wife gets email with death threat. Multiple death threat emails come in, with some Spanish language, we don't know anyone in Mexico, this is the front desk person sending death threats
Mareazul needs to be removed from all Expedia listings, this was not a vacation, I would rather have gone to work than go through this
