Estamos a solo 2 min en carro de la playa, y 15 minutos a pie. no estamos retirados. No recuerdo cuando fue su estancia con nosotros, pero le aseguro que no estamos lejos y ofrecemos un lugar seguro y limpio. saludos

El lugar es centrico, limpio y con todo lo necesario basico para una estancia tranquila. El senor Tony es una persona muy atenta y amable que siempre estuvo en todo momento disponible.

Loved it!! Everything was well thought out. The owners were so sweet and helpful, even with our horrible Spanish. Loved the pool. I would and will go back one day.

We had a great time during our stay in Suites Fenicia. The owners are just great hosts and made our stay unforgettable and safe! Rooms are well equipped with kitchenette, fridge, toaster; coffee maker, hotplate , and safety box. Internet connexion is steady and fast. Clean rooms and bathroom. Well located close to grocery stores. 5th Avenue and the beach are only 12 mn walk from the hotel. Looking forward to staying longer there next year.

My sister and I had such a wonderful stay at Suites Fenicia. Our rooms were comfortable and had basic kitchen appliances so we could make a few meals when needed. There were so many amenities I wasn’t expecting such as a lounge room, and a ton of beach stuff to borrow! The location was very convenient, depending where you need to go you can get to most places in max 30 min walk. It was really fun to explore the city by foot. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Playa del Carmen!

L'hôtel est situé aux coins de la 30e avenue et de la CTM, soit à 10-15 minutes de marche de la plage et de la 5e avenue. Il y a 2 supermarchés à 5 minutes à pieds ainsi que de nombreux kiosque de tacos (très bons et pas cher). Le service est impeccable. Les hôtes sont très disponibles et répondent rapidement à nos questions/demandes. Possibilité de réserver des excursions ou transports avec eux à prix compétitifs et sans casse-tête. Bonne communication avec le sourire, en espagnol ou en anglais. La piscine est très propre. Le jardin est fleuri, avec table, chaises et lit pour s'étendre et profiter du soleil. Il y a aussi une superbe terrasse sur le toit, idéale pour profiter des couchers de soleil. Les matelas et la literie sont de qualité. Très confortables! Le seul bémol est la circulation sur la 30e qui est bruyante, mais des panneaux de bois ont été installés pour insonoriser. De plus, le service d'autobus et de collectivos sont en pause vers 22h, donc on peut dormir tranquille. On n'entend pas la musique ni les cris des fêtards comme sur la 5e avenue, ce qui est très appréciable. Pas d'insectes dans la chambre. Il y a quelque chose dans le bas des portes qui les empêchent d'entrer et toute la propriété est entretenue avec grand soin. Tout était fonctionnel dans la chambre. C'est un hôtel que je recommande sans problème. Merci aux hôtes d'avoir rendu notre séjour exceptionnel!

What I liked is that my room was clean. I did not like at all was that I had problems with the toilet the day I arrived. I was not too please about that as I was extremely tired and just wanted to rest. It was difficult to fix so I was asked to stay in another room while it gets fixed.The second room I was asked to go to, was not to my liking. I was told I have a choice to wait for the repair, stay there or move out and search for another accommodation in the area. I am 73 year old, I did not like to be treated that way. That toilet should have been working properly before I arrived. It got fixed eventually and went back to my room. What a waste of my time and lots of grieves. Also this place is located next to a very busy street the 30th ave so there's lots traffic noises. It is very far from town. I certainly do not recommend this place.

We are very sorry to hear about your perception and experience. Regarding the toilet, you have to wait between flushes to have it full again and being able to flush again (just how toilet works). We offered the room change for you to be more comfortable and considered it was all handle in a corteous way even when you yelled at us on how much you hated our place, hence why we offered you a full refund so you could find something of your liking which you refused to do.

Zu der Pension gibt es zu sagen die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich und gibt auch gerne Auskunft über Attraktionen und Aktionen. Dazu gibt es einen abgeschlossenen Parkplatz in der Hofinnenseite. So wie ein Pool. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut und sauber werden jeden Tag gereinigt. Das absolute Highlight bei dieser Unterkunft ist ein Rooftop mit Sitzmöglichkeiten.

Mexican vibe
We wanted a hotel with a Mexican vibe and this place delivered that. We enjoyed the pool, the outside area and the roof top were amazing. The area has lots of local stores and little food shacks, we felt very safe walking around. Our room was lacking comfort. The beds and the pillows were hard, the mattress top case kept sliding over. The hotel is located on a very busy intersection and it was very noisy, noise never stopped. I am a very light sleeper and I couldn't sleep at all. The shower was painful, the water in a sink was barely coming out, the issue was addressed with the owner and it was fixed, but for the worse. The kitchen faucet was leaking and the water was dripping nonstop. This place requires some maintenance. Breakfast had cereal, fruit, juices, coffee, tea, yogurt, scrambled eggs, pancakes, tortillas. The items were rotating every two days. Next time we would pick a hotel away from the busy street. The owners were out of town, but we met their daughter, who was very delightful, helpful and super nice.

Etablissement très bien tenu, personnel adorable
Un établissement très bien équipé et très bien tenu. On apprécie la cour intérieure avec parking ainsi que la piscine et le confort des chambres. Mais le vrai plus est la disponibilité et la gentillesse des hôtes qui n'ont pas hésité à nous dépanner la voiture et à contacter l'agence de location de voiture pour trouver une solution. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.

Nice, friendly owners
Poor water pressure; but otherwise nice room. Location is slightly off the centre and a bit of wall away but hptel provided free bicycles. Owners Laura and Tony are very helpful

We really enjoyed our stay at Suites Fenicia.Our hosts, Laury & Tony were so welcoming and pleasant. I had dietary issues and Laury went out of her way to accommodate me for this and I really appreciated it. The room is kept very clean and beds are very comfortable. Drinking water available at all times is a great touch.Located away from the main centre but very accessible with buses and collectivos at our door at a very cheap rate. Grocery stores and restaurants are nearby. Our hosts recommended the restaurant El Fogon within walking distance and the food there is excellent and reasonably priced. All in all, great place to stay while visiting Playa del Carman & area.

Nous avons séjourné plusieurs nuits et tout a été parfait. Belle et grande chambre vraiment bien équipé. (frigo, cafetière, grande bonbonne d'eau plaque de cuisson et ustensile de cuisine) rien ne manquait. Coté espace commun la encore tout était pensé pour que nous ne manquions de rien ( café, fruit petits gâteaux et le tout a profusion) Je tient a remercié tout le personnel qui se plis en quatre pour vous, et je ne vous parle même pas de Tony et de sa femme qui nous ont accueilli comme si nous étions de leur famille. Toujours la pour vous rendre service et a vous donné des bons plans pour votre séjour. Grace a Tony, j'ai découvert la sérénita, un petit restaurant local de fruit de mer qu'il faut surtout ne pas raté et surtout une bonne adresse ou nous avons pu ramené un hamac bien mieux fait et moins cher que ce que vous pourrez trouvez sur la 5ieme. Vous avez besoins de quoique ce soit alors n'hésitez pas et Tony sera là. Nous lui avons emprunté des vélos, parasols de plages, masques et gilets pour allez voir les tortues. Enfin celui ci est vraiment bien situé, a seulement 15 min a pieds des plages et du début de la 5ieme avenue. Il possède une petite piscine qui nous permet de nous rafraîchir en rentrant de nos activités et une grande cour intérieure pour stationner notre véhicule. Si il y a une adresse a retenir sur playa, c'est bien la sienne. Encore un grand MERCI a Tony, son épouse et tous le personnel et au plaisir de revenir chez toi. Lilian et Hélène

This was a good choice for someone passing through. It was very clean and the bed comfortable. I felt it was good value for money. It is a bit far from the center of town and from the beach for those staying any length of time. The owners/managers were very friendly and helpful.

Excelente estancia
Excelente, los dueños son unas personas muy amables, atentas y excelentes anfitriones. Recomiendo ampliamente este hotel, la estancia es muy agradable, cuenta con una pequeña alberca, prestan diferentes artículos para ir a la playa y además bicicletas. Over Rated Reviews on Fenicia Suites
We booked in Jan. 2018. The place is being renovated and is now a construction site, with nearby buildings also under construction. Continues to operate booking Canadians who see high reviews, as I did. Negatives: 1. It's on a busy / noisy high traffic street, so it is not a relaxing place. 2. Bed was made up, but the sheets were not changed - a major turn off. 3. Frequent scraping sound until 3 am, and could not sleep until 3:30. If you are on the second level the rooms above on the third level might keep you up late into the night. 4. The breakfast is coco puffs and white bread, eggs and coffee.

Arrived after 7PM and the room was not ready. Took them 3 hours to get it ready. The reason given was that I didn't confirm the room with a payment for high season. I didn't understand this part because the no-cancellation penalty and associated charges were already included in the hotels.com reservation, and I would have had to pay for the room anyways. The owners are extremely nice and helpful, the area convenient, near to 5th ave, beach, great cheap eats. Be ready for inefficiencies and you'd enjoy this location.

Awesome service!
The service was amazing!!! Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and staff kept up with this daily. Breakfast items, drinks and refrigerator were also stocked every day. Beach items and bikes available for our use everyday. Within walking distance of beach and great shopping. We really enjoyed our week there and would very much consider this lodging again.

Well equipped
We were looking at 3-bed room and this was a perfect fit for us. Spacy, comfortable, well equipped (kitchen) even for longer stay.

Muy recomendable
Excelente servicio, la atención es muy cordial desde los dueños hasta el perdón que labora ahí. La limpieza del cuarto muy bien. La ubicación muy buena se encuentra a 4 cuadras de la 5a avenida y acceso directo a la playa. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Great place to stay with amazing hosts
The room was so lovely and spacious with a little kitchenette. The hosts were the most lively people. The location is good, close to the beach and avenue 5. One of the nicest places we have stayed in mexico!

Feels like a home
Mother of the owner was there to receive. What a sweetheart! Loved her immediately. They were super accommodating, had board games, sun screen, cookies, bikes, umbrellas, and just a very homey feel

Great value
We rented out two rooms to accommodate our family, and everything worked out great. The location was convenient and the amenities were upscale. The owners were very hospitable and made sure that we had an excellent stay. We enjoyed the pool in the evening, and enjoyed a nice breakfast in the morning from the provided breakfast items stocked in the room.

Great hosts. Nice room, could have slept four. Kitchenette for anyone who wants to cook for themselves.

Good hotel close to main tourist area.
The hosts Tony and Laury are wonderful, warm people who make you feel like you are staying with friends than staying in a hotel. Room is large with good but very basic kitchen stuff. The fridge gets stocked daily with bread, eggs, butter, etc. for you to make breakfast. Fruit and coffee are always available downstairs. Lovely outside sitting area with pool. The hosts were helpful with booking tours, making recommendations, etc. The only negative is the traffic noise. The hotel sits at a busy intersection. There are heavy wooden shutters across the street side windows but you still hear the traffic, which settles down around 11pm and starts up again around 6am. If you are sensitive to that, this might not be for you. Otherwise, we loved this place.

Clean, inexpensive, and fabulous customer service!
Great place to stay for a quick weekend to Playa! Tony and Laura are amazing hosts, very friendly and accommodating. They speak pretty good English, which was very helpful since we speak pretty bad Spanish. Tony even drove us to the bus station in his own car at 4 am so we could get back to the airport for our early flight. This place is clean and all the details are well thought out. Everything we could've needed was supplied, and I'm sure if we had needed something else they would've gotten it for us. The room was clean, although there were tiny bugs crawling around (but I'm sure that's pretty standard no matter where you stay. We had the same when we stayed in a 4 star all inclusive.) Property condition is good. We did have loud music (a man singing) at the restaurant across the street for several hours each night until about 11pm, which didn't bother us at all (we enjoyed it!) but if you have kids that you put to bed earlier, it might be an issue for you. The location was a little out of the way, but it was safe and not much of a walk. Plus with the free loaner bikes you could get anywhere easier. We did initially have a bit of a hard time finding the main entrance, just know that the entrance is on Calle 46 and it's the brown iron gates just east of the money exchange on the corner. It has a small sign on the door.
