My experience at this stay was not very good. I went to check in, the lady who checked me in at front desk seemed annoyed that i was there. She seemed upset that she had more work to do and said "i hate it when yall do this", referring to ne using an app instead of traditional check in. Long story short she diuble charged me the deposit. I did not know this until 24 hiurs later when i tried to book another room, with a different hotel, in another town using the hotels.com app again. I called my bank to see what was going on and why my card was being rejected, they informed me of the double charge. This left me without a place to stay due to me budgeting my expenses with my card i was short now. I called says in, the receptionist was different this time. She informed me she can see my charges and that she would contact her manager asap. The manager told her to tell me that the funds are being sent back within 1 to 5 business days. I told her due to their error i will have to skeep in my car, in the cold and fear bring robbed or worst. She apologized. I asked for a complimentary stay. She said she will ask her manager on duty (12/10/23 @ around 10pm est) if it is possible and call me back. I never received that call. I called her back after some time passed and she said she will call him back and promised she would let me know. No call came. Thus i slept in my car, cold, and worried all night in a parking lot. The manager avoided speaking to me or attempting to help. Horrible
