The oweners are nice and accommodating. The log cabins are interesting; you certainly do feel like you are camping, or at camp, as opposed to in a luxe hotel. The wifi is really spotty, and tv is basically pointless. Our fridge did not keep our food cold, but we dealt with warm drinks for a week since we could not really cook in our cabin. A couple of the twin beds had very old mattresses that could be replaced, but overall, it was a camp like experience, and you could really enjoy it, or be really miserable, depending on your state of mind. Overall, we enjoyed the experience, but there were a few issues that could use improvement. On another note, if you are planning to swim in Grand Lake, forget it. We learned the hard way that it is way too cold, even in the summer, due to snow melt, for any functional swimming or floating. This is all about your expectations. If your mind is right, you will find ways to enjoy it.
