We had a lovely time at the Atlantis. First time visiting Castel Gandolfo, and we didn't know much about the area. This is a lovely property in the historic center of town, very convenient for strolling the tiny streets, exploring its shops and restaurants.
Mimmo and Roberta were excellent hosts. We arrived on Easter Sunday from Rome and were very hungry. Mimmo easily managed to get us a table at a very popular restaurant which is very hard in Italy on such date. He aslo found us transportation back to Rome 3 days later.
Regarding the property itself, it was a small apartment with independent entrance to the street. It contained everything we needed, 2 bedrooms, a living area with a couch and dining table, a small but functional bathroom, and even a full kitchen and washer (which we didn't use).
Our room had a small balcony with lovely views of Lago Albano. We had plenty of linens and toiletries and someone from the property came every morning to make sure if we needed anything extra.
The lake is a nice hike down that you start at the street right behind our apartment. Not a problem even with kids, ours loved it.
We recommend this place and will stay there again if the opportunity comes.
