찾아가기가 조금 어려웠지만 그것을 상쇄할 정도로 직원들의 서비스나 친절함이 훌륭했습니다. 아침 조식도 맛있었어요! 기본에 충실한 호텔로 강추 합니다!!!

숙소 입구 찾기 힘듬. 방은 사진이랑 똑같음 넓고 깨끗함 따끈하고 침대 완전 푹신푹신. 화장실이 방 밖에 있는데 잠금이 좀 불편하고 팡이냄새가 남 깨끗하고 넓음. 직원도 되게 친절하게 이것저것 알려주고 조식도 쏘쏘함 엘리베이터가 되게 작음 사람 두명 들어가면 꽉참 그리고 벽면이 유리로 되어 있어서 고소공포증 있는 사람은 못 탈듯 내가 그랬음

로마 여행을 마치고
처음 왔을때 입구를 찾지못해서 난감했는데 막상들어가보니 객실도 크고 메니저도 친절해서 좋았네요. 이제 막 인테리어 했나 깨끗했고 아침도 무료여서 좋았습니다. 지하철은 걸어서 3분거리고 5분정도 걸어가면 먹을곳도 많고 평소에 조용해서 잠잘때 소음 전혀 없는데 옆방하고 방음이 좀 부족한거같네요

모든게 너무 좋았던 숙소였어요!!!역시 친절한 사모님^^하지만 마지막날 저녁 뜨거운물이 갑자기 나오지않아 전화했지만 바로 처리불가능....ㅠㅠ너무 추워 씻지못하고 귀국비행기를 타야했던 ㅠㅠ 하지만 친절한 사모님과 깨끗한 객실로 모든게 용서됨^^

쾌적하고 안전한 시내
예약조건을 한치의 오차도없이 이행한다. 작지만 4성호텔급. 방이 아주 만족스럽고, 직원들이 유능하고 친절하다. 베네토거리 근처라서 로마 전역을 쉽게 걸어서 다닐수 있고, 테르미니에서도 걷기 적당하다. 강추!!

Très déçu.
Chambre avec annexe bath ne veut pas dire qu'on a forcément une salle de bain avec baignoire selon eux même si sur la photo il y a clairement une baignoire. C'est une salle d'eau à dispo a côté de la chambre. Finalement après des changements de chambre et rechargement de chambre j'ai vu la baignoire avec le contour noir humide et la paume de douche avec un débit d'eau chaude très faible. La chambre se situe au fond de la salle du petit déjeuner au 4eme étage donc très bizarre. Le matin la porte séparant le petit déjeuner et les deux chambre annexe était ouverte donc pour aller dans notre sdb on risque de croiser le regard des autres client... Bref la chambre et le lit confortable ! Mais je reviendrai jamais c'était une triste expérience.

Dette er ikke et hotell/ B&B som vi vil bo på igjen og heller ikke anbefale til andre. Det har engang vært et flott hus, med fine fliser på gulvet, marmor i trappene og en nydelig vask og benkeplate på badet. Så hvorfor må dette ødelegges ved småting som kiip plastkurv i dusjen med en flaske med såpe uten kork, et deksel på spyleknappen på veggen som løsnet pga at det var delvis ødelagt, en hjemmesnekret dorullholder i tre som absolutt ikke er i stil med rommet ellers, en ødelagt lyspære i den ene lampen, en TV som ikke fungerte pga manglende signal, en svært ustabil wifi, og ingen glass på badet (som jeg aldri har opplevd før i løpet av de vel 40 årene jeg har reist i diverse land!). Vi gav beskjed om flere av disse tingene, og lyspæren ble skiftet og dekslet på spyleknappen ble festet, men vi fikk ikke noen glass på badet (selv om vi ble lovet det) og det ble ingen endring i wifi. Det var heller ingen mulighet for å få frokost på søndagen, selv om det står i Hotel.com presentasjon av hotellet, at det er mulighet for frokost hver dag. Til det positive er det å si at sengen var veldig god og betjeningen hyggelig. Men totalt sett : skjerp dere!

Overall this was a huge disappointment for the price ! This does not appear to be close to be a 4 star and also is more of a bed and breakfast and not a hotel. The rooms were old and very small and don’t be fooled by the photos. We could hear the street noise even though the claim was it was noise proof. The shower door did not even close properly and we had water leaking. We got no real help on how to move around since we had a tough time finding a taxi as a group of 7. Luckily the last day the lady at the reception was very kind to book us a van that can accommodate us and our luggage to go to the train station. They serve breakfast and it was not good and we had to pay for it. We ended up eating in the cafe next door which was decent and this is what i would recommend . The only possible pro to this place is the location as it is close to the barberini metro. When we checked in, we had a talk on the difference between quality and quantity by super mario where quantity can impact quality. Well this place needs to be evaluated as we found neither 😀. Would not recommend this !

Lovely staff
Convenient located in the heart of Rome, walking distance for lot of the attractions. Good costumer service , i booked one of the room with private bathroom but outside the room ( i did not realized that ) which i did not like it but it was my fault. I suggest a mirror , at least a bottle of water and couple of glasses in the room , maybe a coffee maker ?

The concierge service is great and very helpful. Location is great. However the room itself is quite disappointing. Tiny room that fit one double bed and two twins, leaving no privacy and room for walking. The washroom is not very clean. You can see mold everywhere. Sink stinks quite a lot. Overall bad living experience.

Room was small but clean and the bed was comfortable. There was some mold on the shower tile and the shower drain was slow but otherwise very nice and met our needs. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was fantastic with easy access to shops, restaurants and metro. Would recommend.

Definitivamente el hotel deja mucho que desear por el precio que pagamos. El elevador es muy pequeño y ese no es el problema sino que la escaleras son de mármol y eso las hace muy resbalosas, mi esposo se cayó. La iluminación de la habitación inadecuada no veíamos bien, el agua de la regadera se salía y el aire acondicionado nunca funcionó. Al salir del hotel olvidé mis airpods y no me los devolvieron, se quedaron en la habitación de eso estoy 100% segura. Pero me informaron que no los encontraron y pues ni hablar. La ubicación fue muy buena y abajo hay un bistró muy rico. Una lástima aunque quisiera recalcar que la atención de Vero fue excelente.

I had a really hard time writing this review as I really wanted to love my stay. I was greeted so warmly and welcomed with such kind hospitality, I was really looking forward to my stay at this charming hotel. My issues began after being out all day and returning to my room at 29°C. Rooms require the key to be inserted into a slot to power the lights and air conditioning(ac). I understand the need for this, that's not the problem. After an hour however, the room had not cooled off so I went to get help. Instead of being greeted by the kind woman that checked me in, I was met by a young adult playing on their phone. Unconvinced that the ac was pushing warm air, they met me at the room. After confirming ac was not working, the only solution offered was to wait until the next day(our checkout) as no one was available to look at the unit. After pressing further, they said they would bring me a fan. What we received for our 29°C room was a miniature desk fan with a usb plug and no charger. We were never going to sleep and I was short low on patience, so I pressed further and was finally put in touch with a manager or owner. They finally got the ac to work and the room cooled off an hour later. I know I sound like I am over reacting but I don't have words to describe the could-not-be-bothered attitude from the evening staff we received, and how little they cared about resolving our situation. It only takes one person with a bad attitude to ruin a great experience.

Booked last minute for the last night of our trip before flying out of Rome. What a great choice to stay here. The owner Mario is worth the visit alone. He was so welcoming, funny, gave us some great recommendations. He treated us like we were family. He was also very helpful in sorting out some last minute private shuttles due to flight changes. Hotel is in a great location and has everything we needed. It was clean as well. No issues at all. We’ll definitely be back and recommend staying here. Mario et ses collègues feront tout pour que votre séjour à Rome soit une réussite !! Hôtel parfaitement bien placé pour visiter Rome sans perdre de temps ( proche de la gare, proche de la fontaire de Trevi, bus hop and off...). Rue très calme La chambre est climatisée La tv est connectée et il est possible de profiter de Netflix Mario vous donnera de bons conseils pour votre séjour Il est possible de bénéficier d un taxi vers l'un des aéroports de Rome (Mario se chargera de la réservation) et d'un service conciergerie gratuit. A perfect stay we recomend!
A lovely hotel and staff with a perfect location! We could walk to trevi fountain, pantheon, spanish steps and colosseum. Metro 100 meters down the street and a bus just around the corner that took us to a great place with a big pool for a day swimming. Right by Barberini on via San Bacilio which was a very quiet and safe street. We slept well in a very good and large bed, very good air conditioning in the room and a nice man who cleaned our room every day. A very good cafe with good food right next to the hotel and a lovely restaurant with good stone-baked pizza 10 meters down the street. My 7 years old son and I had an absolutely fantastic week in Rome in the middle of July during a heat wave, because our stay at this hotel. Very good recommendations from lovely and great Veronica who worked there and helped us with everything, explained and gave us many good suggestions for things we could do for both adults and children. In addition to Mario and a very sweet young girl who also looked after us. We will definitely be back and highly recommend! The breakfast was also very good. Top 10! Thank you San Basilio 55!

Oplevelsen var meget blandet, da vi ikke kunne tjekket ind til kl 23 som står på de papirer man får fra Hotels.com. Og vi skulle ringe efter en mod betaling der kunne lukke os ind. Vi fik ikke det værelse vi havde bestilt hjemmefra. (Vi skulle havet bekræftet værelset 48 timer før ankomst) Det var IKKE melddelt. Derfor fik vi toilet/bad på gangen og en dobbeltseng hvor vi skulle have haft toilet/bad på værelset og 2 enkle senge. Morgenmaden var absolut ikke værd at sætte tænderne i. Udenom service var super og det var renligligheden også.

Great service by the manager Mario . Great location . I wanted to amend my previous review because Mario apologized about the air conditioning and he was very nice and understanding about it. Beds are nice and comfortable , I had a great night and the area was great to stay. Old and classic Roma.

A small hotel with a very friendly staff (specially Mario). Very helpful into understanding how to move in Rome. Conviniently located. Very close to the metro Station and to one stop of one of those sightseeing bus tours.

Fantastic stay, fantastic staff
We stayed at Basilio 55 Rome for 6 nights and have nothing but positive things to say about the hotel, staff, and location. Our room was clean and the bedding was comfortable. The heat and air conditioning worked well when we needed them (weird to need them both in the same trip). The staff are AMAZING. So helpful and responsible, both before the trip and during our stay. Mario had lots of good information about things to do and helped us book a tour and airport transport. The location of the hotel was perfect - close to the metro and lots of the sights we wanted to see, close to lots of good restaurants too. But it was also on a quiet street, so that was good. Our room was quiet and comfortable. We'd 100% recommend staying here and would stay again if we come back to Rome. Thanks Basilio 55 staff for a great visit!

Ok for price.
The hotel is very well located. Youre walking distance from the important sights and their are so many good restauratns near by. Location-wise I highly recommend. But, you do get what you pay for. The room is not so clean, the walls are all stained and dirty, the shower head has mold and if you look close enough so does the shampoo holder. Also the bed is very small so if your partner is rather tall or large just keep that in mind.

Don’t stay here. Everywhere else in Italy, people took pride in their work and service — but not this place. In fact, they actually ended up scamming us. The hotel claims to have air conditioning: it does not. We were in Italy during a heat wave, and when we entered the oven-hot room and the AC wasn’t working, I told the desk. The receptionist’s explanation: you can’t set the AC to your desired temp; you need to set it to 27 C (81 F) and work on incrementally lowering it. I explained to her once more —though it was obvious now she didn’t need to be told — that the AC is broken. She came to the room and played with the remote (see picture) while on the phone with the owner. After hanging up, she relayed the owner’s message: that’s just the way it is. When we told her that we aren’t going to stay here then, she apologized for the inconvenience and told us a refund would take a few days to clear. We took the hotel at their word, that they would cancel the reservation, and went on our way. Well, they never canceled the reservation. When we inquired with them about the refund, they told us to call hotels.com. What they told hotels.com is that we “checked out early”—and even though we left immediately because of the broken AC, they actually charged us for 3 nights. Meanwhile, they probably made double on the room by releasing it to some other poor traveler. Don’t be that traveler. Stay elsewhere. (Side-note: there was tons of garbage on top of the closet from previous guests.)
