Dear Francisco,you were here with us for 7 days and you never complained about anything always smiling.We ironed you shirts early in the morning right away.We also upgraded you for free to a Deluxe double room with jacuzzi .Now it is too late and we apologize for your wife early departure ( 05:45 a.m.).Advising us the night before at the lobby could be helpful as you did the last night for your early departure towards the airport on departure which was organized by us with success.Usually our main entrance it is locked between 01:00 until 06;00 for security reasons.Best regardsRoberto,Hotel Celio

Regarding your comment being our Hotel Celio not family friendly is not truth at all.Hundreds of families where here with us and they were all enthusiast about our hotel ,our family rooms and the stunning location only 100 meters from the Coliseum. Last but not least we do have a spectacular roof garden in use for all our guest including a gym, high speed internet access everywhere in the Hotel.You mentioned that your son was yelled ( not yelled but nicely advised) from our staff because he was with his shoes on our leather couch.Should be helpful if his mother advised him not to put on the couch.The family room you occupied is 25 meters square, with a large bathroom with shower glass cabin, the bed is an american standard king size ( mt. 2,10 x 2,00) and the 2 single beds for the children on the side of the king are 2 standard single bed (mt. 1.90 x 0.80 each) and not 2 cots…A bonus of the room you booked was a very large private terrace.Did not help that after your arrival on the early afternoon you and the all family were always constantly in the room till the next morning even ordering in room dinner on Just Eat service for the 4 of you.Parking was organized by us in a nearby garage (300 meter away) for your enormous Suv .The Hotel Celio does not have either private parking or a garage and is well written clear on the Expedia website.About our location/neighborhood there is no need to comment being us 100 meters from the Coliseum and the Roman Forum, 3 minutes walking for the Emperor Nero Domus Aurea and the Church of St. Peter in Chain where is located the Mose's of Michelangelo, 5 minutes walking from The Circus Maximus and Caracalla baths,10 minutes walking from Piazza Venezia with the” Wedding Cake” an 15 minutes walking from the Pantheon ,the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps.Best regardsRoberto,mgrHotel Celio

Dear Ms. Kate, thank you for your review which helps us to answer and clarify to all our future guests .You and your friends were here in our Hotel Celio for 2 nights stay and was not a booking for disabled people.Our hotel founded on 1930 with 19 rooms (including 2 marvellous suites) and completely renovated and refurnished in 2018, is a very charming in classical roman style full of frescoes and mosaic marbles mosaic tiles eveywhere and all modern facilietes including great Wifi access ,smart tv with Netflix and Amazon Prime.Rome is a City almost 3000 years old and sizes of roads,buildings ,rooms,bathrooms, cars cannot be compared with any other city in the word .The Hotel is not suitable for disabled guests and does not have a lift , well explained in the Hotels.com site.While you were here with us you never asked or complained about anything at all. This should helped us.Regarding your booking you made was for 2 nights stay ,not 3 . You asked to stay one more night and then you cancelled the second day, we did not charged for anything.By the way we had complaints for other guests of the hotel about your fighting and yelling in the room with your son including the day of your departure in the lobby. While you booked by yourself an Uber car which was not arriving due to an incessant rain, we promptly ordered a taxi for you without you requesting.This was a nice help to you from the" sour face owners" as you wrote.Best regardsRoberto,Hotel Celio

Dear Sir, you booked a single room and you got a single room with large bed. Our Hotel it is in an historical building dated 1870 and spaces are not so big as a modern hotel. You were going out of the hotel late in the night many times and our night porter was just checking. It was an error. Hotel Celio
