Zentral gelegene und trotzdem ruhige Unterkunft dank Schallschutzfenstern. Einchecken am Vormittag, um das Gepäck abzustellen, war mir nicht möglich. Erster Eindruck nach dem Öffnen der großen Haustür war negativ, da jede Menge Abfall im Eingangsbereich lag und ein heruntergekommenes Treppenhaus vor mir lag. Nach Öffnen der Eingangstür zur Locanda Navona: alles schön und ordentlich. Ich bekam an der Rezeption meinen Schlüssel für Haustür, Hotel und Zimmertür. Alles war sehr sauber, das Bad zwar klein, aber ausreichend groß, das Bett sehr bequem. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis war o.k. Neben der Haustür befindet sich eine gute Bar, die für das Frühstück sehr zu empfehlen ist.

The location is of course special. The room is not much and not a nice as the photos. I was unimpressed with the attendant. Perhaps this was all adequate. There is no lift so a flight of stairs. Noise was not a problem the inner doors on the windows are soundproof. The room is not inspiring I didn't trust the outermost door however you get a special location at a very low price. I have stayed at another place right on Piazza Navona, Navona Stay. Not prefect but better then this and even better location and view.

Fantastisk beliggenhed til storby ferie

Mega fed beliggenheden til storbyferie, hvor vi kun havde halvanden dag i Rom. Vi nåede utrolig meget, fordi vi boede så centralt. Meget renligt værelse - lidt mindre end forventet, men vi sov der kun, så helt perfekt!

Great location. Bed and shower at property where great which is key for us. Room size was okay but this was expected for Rome. If you want to walk to all the key sites this is the place.

We had a very quick (one night) stay at this wonderful accommodation. The bed was incredibly comfortable and despite being on a corner was very quiet with double windows. Bathroom was tight but extremely clean and well appointed. Juice, water and tea very appreciated

We loved everything about the stay right down the road from Piazza Navona. The only potential issue was loud music until 2am on the weekend but if you want to stay in the heart of the city, that is to be expected.

The property is in a great location. The staff was quite attentive and provided water, coffee and juice for the guests. The AC was the best of all the hotels we stayed at.

Excellent location, great staff and very convenient location. Other reviews mention noise at night and yes there was a minimal amount of noise on one night of our four night stay but nothing to impede sleeping, rooms are sound proofed well and our family suite #106 was on first floor (2nd in USA) and everything was perfect! I’d recommend this property and stay here again.

Right in the heart of the neighborhood. Enjoyed hearing the bustle of the street and the many restaurants. Closing the windows kept out most of the sound when we were ready for sleep. Restaurants within steps of the front door.

Centrally located but just ok...

When we were dropped off by our taxi we struggled at first to find the door to the apartments. The apartment owners could do better to explain where the doorway is located. However, the location of the apartment is fantastic and really close to Piazza Navrona and within easy walk of all the major attractions - Pantheon 5 min, Vatican 15 min, Roman Forum 15 mins etc. The downside to this central location is that it can be very noisy at night and the rooms are small. Overall, it’s served our purpose for exploring Rome but I wouldn’t hurry back.

Location of Hotel Locanda is excellent. Within walking distance to nearly all historical Sites and not to forget restaurants and shopping. Very friendly and helpful staff, large room with a view to a charming neighborhood, one really gets the feeling of being in Rome. I’ll be back for sure!

Great location. Most iconic sights were a 20minute or less walk. There was some street noise but once the windows were shut it was fairly sound proof. Beds were okay.

Thank you so much Siddiq for the amazing service and experience. This hotel was in such a fun location (great restaurants, shopping and nightlife). The highlight was the fully functioning AC. Highly recommend this hotel.

The Locanda is not a hotel. It is a set of rooms partitioned out of a single apartment a residential building. It is not well labeled and the two exterior doors are not pictured its photos. (You must first enter the exterior residential building door, then go up to the 1st floor to enter the apartment door to get into the part that is Locanda and its rooms. Only then do you find the small lobby off of which individual rooms are individually numbered.) The exterior door had garbage piled up next to it. A loud pub is near by. It was not what was pictured or represented. I departed after the first night and stayed at a real hotel to save my trip to Rome. Laconda would not refund the remaining two unused nights.

We never pretended to be a Hotel we are a Guest House and it is clearly written on Expedia on our profile page. The description he made of the doors correct, detailed and accurate, in fact we are in the heart of Rome and not in Las Vegas, In Roma is forbidden to affix luminous signs and other there are on the side of the door the brass plates with names and license numbers of the structures, on the other side there are intercoms, on the first floor on the door there is a brass plaque with the details of the Gust House Locanda Navona. We are a Guest House in Rome as there are thousands of them. Imagine that in our building there are 2 each floor and a total of 7, in the adjacent and opposite buildings it is the same, as well as in the center of Rome. Only the large hotels and they are very few and of a very high price range have the entire building. Rome is a very ancient city and it has not been possible to create large hotels like in the new cities of more recent construction. Greetings."

Overall was disappointed. Would not stay again in this property, but would try other “hotel” in the building because the location is pretty good. The pictures are better than the actual place. ITS NOT A BED AND BREAKFAST. Its in an apartment building thats turned into a “hotel” (but is typical in italy). There IS NO BREAKFAST. Sheets felt paper thin, but bed is comfy overall. You have a mini (not full balcony) that overlooks the street. It can get loud at night, but not too bad. Its ok.

Dear customer, we are a 6-room Gust House in the center of Rome like many in the area. We have very low rates despite being in the heart of the city. We do not offer breakfast service but going down the street there are several bars and also a restaurant that serves a continental buffet breakfast. In the room there is a nespresso machine and capsules for coffee, kettle and more for a breakfast or a night chamomile, all offered for free. All the rooms overlook the street and the typical buildings of Rome from some you can see the Chiostro del Bramante. Best regards

Great Location

Great location - we were able to walk to various tourist spots and there were a ton of restaurants right outside the hotel. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. They provided water, juice, and snacks free of charge in the room. Be aware there is no elevator so you have to carry your luggage up one flight of stairs. We had large suitcases, but fortunately the staff helped us. I would stay there again.

The area this hotel is in is great! Quiet at night with lots of nice restaurants and coffee shops. It also has an air conditioning unit which was nice!

Tolles Hotel an super Lage

Eine tolle Unterkunft, grosszügige Zimmer, super gelegen. Alles ist gut zu Fuss erreichbar; der Vatikan oder der Fontana di Trevi etwa in 20 Minuten, das Kolosseum in ca. 30 Minuten. Das Hotel befindet sich inmitten von Shops, Bars und Restaurants. Das Viertel ist sehr belebt. Die Fenster in den Zimmern sind ziemlich gut, es kommt nicht viel Lärm von aussen rein, aber über die Lüftung im Bad dringen die Gespräche und die Musik schon ins Zimmer. Ist aber nicht mega laut, uns hats nicht gestört und auch nicht vom Schlafen abgehalten.

Loved the locality.Its a bit tricky finding the property on arrival at night and gaining access in the dark. Once that is conquered all fine but didn’t see hotel staff other than the first day until we checked out which was a bit odd.

Great location and nicely appointed room!

This property is not a traditional hotel, it only has 6 rooms on one floor of a very old building, about 150 yards from the Piazza Navona. That being said, this is not uncommon for the oldest parts of Rome. We never would have found it if our driver had not showed the door to us. Unfortunately we had the smallest room, although it was still larger than our Paris room! We would have preferred a larger room. The bathroom was a good size however, The daily snacks, the complimentary bottle of wine, the fridge and coffee were all nice touches and appreciated. Folks who worked the desk were very helpful and friendly, especially pre-arranging the transportation to and from the airport. 45 euros was definitely a good deal and much easier than a taxi or public transportation. Although right above a very touristy area, the room was 95% quiet at night from street noise. Any disturbance was worth being in such a prime location. Tons of shops and restaurants and attractions within easy walking distance. Although not a traditional hotel, it was a lovely stay and I would recommend this property.

Keskeisellä paikalla historiallisessa keskustassa

Hyvä hotelli keskeisellä paikalla. Vaikea löytää varsinkin yö aikaan, koska hotellissa ei ollut mitään näkyviä kylttejä. Hyvin toimiva Wi-fi.
