숙소를 처음 갈 때, 이동할 때 캐리어 때문에 조금 힘들어요.. 찾아갈 때는 내리막길이라서 괜찮았는데,,ㅎ 주인 아주머니는 굉장히 친절하세요! 지도를 몇 개씩 주시면서 맛집이나 버스로 가는 길 등을 세세하게 알려주셨고 커피도 내려먹을 수 있었습니다:) 짱맛탱 도착하자마자 물도 주시고ㅜㅜ 여자 2명이서 3일을 있었는데 넓어서 좋았어요! 화장실도 다른 사람들과 사용시간이 겹치지 않았구요. 주방은 이용하지 않아서 모르겠지만 이용해도 좋을듯! 처음 찾아갔을 때 짐을 함께 올려주셔서 감사했습니다. 바로 근처에 마트가 있고 트레비 분수와도 가깝고 관광지를 다 걸어다닐만 합니다. 그래서 저희는 다 걸어다녔어요. 숙소 한쪽 벽면에 방문객들의 쪽지 쓰는 벽이 있었는데 한글 찾기 힘든 것.. 적고 오려다가 깜빡했네요ㅜㅜ 한글사랑♡ 역에서 13분 정도? 짐이 있으면 20분 정도? 걸리는 거리에 있고 다음에도 이용할 의향있습니다! 아, 그리고 저녁에 엄청 시끄러워요.. 에어컨이 없어서 선풍기에 의지했지만 괜찮았어요! 욕실도 넓고 깨끗하구 ㅎㅎ 모두들 즐거운 여행 보내세요~!

날짜 변경 문의 하려고 했을 때 이메일 답장 회신 엄청 늦고, 전화 걸면 바로 끊습니다. 두 번째 문의 때는 보복성인지 취소하겠다고 협박을 하였고 오해가 있는 것 같다 그대로 예약을 진행해 달라고 말을 했는데 엄마와의 마지막 여행지인 로마에서 결국 엄청난 일을 저질렀습니다. 기차가 지연 되어 전화하자 역시나 그냥 끊음. 결국 캐리어 끌고 찾아갔지만 문도 열어주지 않고 현지인을 통해 전화하자 겨우 받아서 하는 말이 내 일은 끝났으니 길에서 자든 다른데서 자든 알아서 하라는 식. 밤 늦게 어디 갈데도 없어 제발 부탁이니 다른 거 다 필요 없고 잠만 잘 수 있게 해달라고 현지인에게 통역 부탁하니 제 예약이 취소된 예약이랍니다. 제가 분명 취소 안 한다고 메일 회신한 거 자료 있고, 전날까지도 호텔스 닷컴 예약확인 메일 날아왔고 호텔스닷컴 사이트 상에서 버젓이 예약이 살아있는데 다른 연락도 없이 일방적 취소를 했습니다. 돈 아끼려고 로마 울퉁불퉁한 길 오르막길 내리막길 30여분 끌고 갔는데 다시 다른 호텔을 알아볼 수 없어 40여분 어두운 길가에서 벌벌 떨다가 결국 택시타고 헤매며 비싼 호텔에서 잤습니다. 여행 마지막이 최악이었어요. 호텔스닷컴에 문의했지만 아직까지 회신이 없어 이렇게 글 남깁니다. 체크인 시간을 지키지 못 해서 문도 열어주지 않는다면 전화라도 받았어야 하는 거 아닌가요? 심지어 호텔스 닷컴을 통해 전화했을 때도 바로 전화가 끊어진다며 이메일로 문의를 해봐야 한다더군요. 한달여간 여행하는 동안 지연된 문제에 대해 연락 안 된 호텔 여기가 처음이고, 연락 안 됐어도 다 들어가는 방법 준비해주는데 이런 호텔 처음이었습니다. 호텔스닷컴 측에서는 호텔에 연락해봐야 안다는 입장인데 호텔에 본인들도 연락이 안 되는데 어떻게 연락을 하고 이 과정을 기다립니까? 그리고 다음날 아침에 찾아가봤냐는 말을 하시던데 간밤의 최악의 기분을 가지고 남은 일정도 포기하고 그 호텔에 가서 제가 따졌어야 했을까요? 가뜩이나 전화로 리셉션에서 영어를 알아듣는 것 같은데도 격앙된 목소리로 이탈리아어로만 말하는데.. 엄마가 밖에서 벌벌 떠는 동안 너무도 마음이 불편해 최대한 미안함을 표현하고 정중하게 말했는데도 말입니다. 덕분에 최악의 여행이 되었고 불필요한 지출은 물론 돌아와서 전화한지 6일째 되어가는데 처리마저 느리니 답답한 심정입니다. 호텔스 닷컴은 중개 말고는 아무것도 능력이 없는건가요. 부당한 대우에 전화상으로 조롱당하는 기분이었는데 중개 사이트 상 예약은 살아있고 본인들이 체크인 시간 얘기 꺼내다가 심지어 연락도 받지 않아놓고 나중에는 취소된 예약이라고 하다니요. 저는 이 호텔 때문에 오십만원 넘는 돈을 잃었습니다. 정신적 피해가 아닌 금전적 손실만 따져서요. 여행을 여행답지 않게 만들어 준 이 호텔을 어떻게 해야할지 모르겠습니다.

Location of this property is tops. You are literally a 5 minute walk from either Piazza Spagna or Fontane di Trevi and a 2 minute walk to the Barberini Metro stop. Monica (general manager of the establishment) is amazing at what she does making you feel instantaneously welcomed by way of a light refreshment or coffee. She actually took time to review all the major attractions Rome has to offer while also offering her recommendations to a few that would garner excellent places to acquire a bird’s eye view of Rome. I have stayed at many 4 plus star establishments in the past and many of them would stand to learn a lot from the level of customer service provided by Monica at Night and Day. Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Night and Day to those wanting to visit Rome. You are in great hands. Book with ease and enjoy your visit in Rome.

Had a fabulous 4-night stay at Night and Day! Monica was a great host -- she was waiting at the door with a warm welcome upon my arrival, and she spent a good bit of time asking what I wanted to do and giving me maps with all the best attractions and restaurants circled. She had answers to all of my questions and went out of her way to ensure that I enjoyed my time in Rome. The room was nothing fancy -- but it was clean, safe, and in a perfect location to set out on foot for a couple days of touring around!

The property is a privileged spot for going to the Trevi Fountain. Also there is a convenience suspermarket nearby if you wish to dinner at the hostel. The installations are always clean, some are Little old, but there is no major complain. The only exception would be the shower of the shared bathroom which is with very high pressure in the water and the shower space is to narrow. Monica make us very easy our life in Rome as she welcome the guests with a very detailed explanation of the sorroundings. Rooms have no AC so they will be Little hot in summer. We definitively could consider to stay again in this place.

Room is OK. Hostess is nice. Problem with billing
The room was large. Lots of closet space. No air conditioning, but breeze from window and fans kept the room fairly cool. Bathroom is in a common area, so less privacy when going to shower. Mattresses were uncomfortable. Definitely NOT Tempur-Pedic as stated in the listing. The lock on the room used a skeleton key, but the room was well-protected. Needed to unlock 4 doors to get into room. This was probably a 5 minute walk from Trevi Fountain. There's a small grocery store just down the street and many nice restaurants nearby. About a 10 minute walk from the Barbarini metra stop. Monica was initially wonderful. She met us on our arrival and gave us maps showing where all the tourist spots were. Had a cup of expresso with us. However, had a big problem with room charges. Initially, she stated that the charges on our credit card weren't going through. We let her charge the room on another card. When we returned from vacation, discovered THREE charges for the same room. One was refunded. Sent her screen shots of our bank charges. It's been almost a month and she still hasn't refunded the other charge. Had to dispute it through the credit card company. Still haven't gotten the money back and also had to pay three fees for exchange to foreign currency. Very disappointing.

Jeg har svært ved at forstå hvordan stedet har fået så god karakter. Vi valgte ud fra de gode anmeldelser dette sted havde fået div. Steder. Servicen var i top. Super sød vært. Intet ondt at sige om hende. Men stedet var ikke godt. Både jeg og min kæreste blev syge. Jeg havde feber 2 dage og min kæreste fik hoste og ondt i halsen. Vi bad hende om at skrue op for varmen og det skete. Hvis man skal bruge et billigt sted en enkelt nat er det vel fint nok. Men en uge i Rom på dette sted kan ikke anbefales. Sengen var desuden elendig. Toilettet er delt med to andre rum. Det er der ikke noget problem ved. Men altså jeg vil ikke tage tilbage. Næste gang betaler vi det ekstra for at bo på et ordentligt hotel.

Awesome place to stay!!
My friend and I came to Rome for the weekend to explore and sightsee. Monica was very accommodating and greeted us upon arrival. She gave us maps labels with great local restaurants, a few of which we tried and loved! She also used another map to show us exactly how to get to all the important tourist attractions. The room was clean, comfortable and VERY conveniently located (less than 2 blocks from Trevi fountain). If I find myself in Rome again I will definitely be booking my stay at Night and Day! No complaints at all

My daughter and I stayed for a week in mid October. Monica was very friendly and helpful. She gave us maps of Rome to help us find sites, subways, buses, restaurants and shopping. It was an excellent location, close to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and retail stores. It was nice to have an espresso coffee machine in the kitchen. You might want to pay extra for your own private washroom. We had to share with other people but everyone was friendly. We would definitely stay there again. Special thanks to Monica for making our trip so wonderful!

Great quiet place in the heart of a bustling city
I stayed at Monica's Night & Day for three nights in October. I was looking for something simple, central and flexible, and I found a treasure - Monica was very helpful to get me started and set me up with all the information I would need to have a good experience in Rome. She had all the restaurant, sight and transit information for me that I would need to get around and make the most of my stay there. I left the hotel armed with three different, hand-annotated maps to provide me guidance for everything I could possibly need. My room was simple but beautiful, comfortable and absolutely everything I could have asked for in this price range. I shared the bathroom with the guests staying in the room next door, just as Monica had indicated, and it worked very well. My tip: Make sure to communicate with Monica before you arrive so she will know when to expect you. She emailed me before, and I simply missed her emails, by bad - she made it all work wonderfully regardless. If you decide to stay at Night & Day, you're going to be in walking distance to everything you will want to experience, and close to transit to get you everywhere else. I would go there again in a heartbeat. Thank you Monica!

Great hotel in perfect location
Night and Day is an amazing little gem in a perfect location to visit Rome. Plus it's affordable. Monica is superb! Communication with her was very easy. Her English is great. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. She is full of information and supplies every guests with maps about places to visit, places to eat and public transportation within the city. Even when she is not at the hotel, she is super easy to reach via email. She is very quick to reply and comes daily to the place.

Fantastic
Monica was an amazing host and gave us great recommendations for places too see and eat for our short trip. The hotel is located in central Rome near the Trevi Fountain, we could walk to all the major attractions and there is also a Metro stop a few minutes walk from the Hotel. We will definitely be coming back to Night and Day!

Family treat
Monica met us upon arrival. She provided us a detailed map of her favorite places for us to try: restaurants, shops, and sites. The building is centrally located and a close walk to many restaurants and the Trevi Fountain, metro and buses close by. The rooms were adequate, there was two private bedrooms in the apartment and a shared bathroom for our use only. Bring a pair of sandals to walk to the bathroom, as it is down the hall from the bedrooms. We did not have A/C, but there was a fan in the room and we left the windows open at night. Recommended for an inexpensive excellent location! Area is very safe.

Como en casa.
Es la segunda vez que me alojo en este hostel y me encanta. Me siento como en mi propia casa. Su situación es inmejorable: a dos minutos de fontana de Trevi y a diez de plaza de España. Hay una estación de metro a 10 minutos y muy muy cerca un supermercado. La dueña Monica, es encantadora. Te trata como a un amigo y tenía preparado un mapa con muchas recomendaciones que visitar. Espero volver pronto a mi casa en Roma.

Monica is amazing! When my boyfriend and I arrived Monica had 3 maps prepared for places to see, metro stations, and one blank. The room was larger then I anticipated and things were always tidy. The location is great for walking! It is less then 5min to Trevi Fountain.

Abbiamo soggiornato in 2, dall'inizio Monica (padrona di casa) è stata gentile e disponibile in quanto dal sito Expedia non ci era stato segnalato che con la nostra prenotazione veniva prenotato un bagno condiviso, e lei ha avuto subito premura di comunicarcelo e assegnarci una camera con bagno privato (dietro integrazione in hotel ovviamente). Stanze piccole ma pulite e confortevoli, possibilità di fare colazione con cucinino condiviso. Monica ci ha fornito da subito una mappa con la città con posti da visitare, locali consigliati, suggerimenti sui mezzi da prendere.. insomma una guida turistica completa anche se arrivate a Roma impreparati! Inoltre ci ha messo anche a disposizione degli ombrelli per i giorni di pioggia in maniera del tutto gratuita! Nessun problema con i vicini delle altre stanze, prezzo assolutamente adeguato al servizio offerto. Posizionamento ben collegato con metro (barberini) e linee autobus, zona tranquilla anche di sera (niente a che vedere con la zona Termini), solo per i posti in cui andate a mangiare seguite i consigli di Monica o comunque di qualcuno di Roma, altrimenti rischiate di trovarvi in un posto in cui si paga tanto ed il servizio lascia a desiderare. Assolutamente consigliato!

Monica was very kind and informative and provides a great layout of all the attractions and restaurants. Accommodations were clean and well kept, complimentary coffee available all day. Great location in the heart of historic Rome, walking distance to all the history!

chambre d'hôte bien placée, accueil chaleureux
Il ne s'agit pas exactement d'un hôtel mais d'une chambre d'hôte avec une cuisine collective. Il faudrait le préciser dans la notice. L'accueil est vraiment très chaleureux, cependant on estime que c'est un peu cher par rapport à des prestations hôtelières à des prix équivalents, cependant l'emplacement de l'établissement est assez exceptionnel .

Great location, exceptional host
Night and Day is perfectly situated in the centre of Rome, 5 minutes walk from Trevi Fountain. Really my only complaint was a lack of air conditioning and the shower floor was a little dirty. Monica is incredibly friendly and knowledgable and I happily stopped to chat with her on my way in and out. She provided maps of town with public transport, her favourite restaurants and the best sights to see. There are only three rooms in the hostel, it is more like an apartment, so there were no issues with other guests. I would gladly stay here again.
