There are no words to describe how exceptional our experience was at this hotel. It was unquestionably beautiful but where they stand out is in all of the touches to make you feel pampered. Overall it's a small location, owned by Ferragamo, but it's in the middle of the prettiest parts of Rome surrounded by exceptional shopping. The team is committed to making everything you need or want accessible. If you are going to Rome THIS is where you want to stay.

You won't find a better hotel in Rome than Portrait Roma! The staff is exceptional, the location ideal and the view from the rooftop deck, where the excellent breakfast is served, is stunning. In the evening street music - violins and opera arias - float up to the deck as the sun sets on the lovely Trinità dei Monti that sits above the Spanish Steps. Unfortunately, there are only two rooms with view balconies, but even a room with a not-so-great outlook is made up by the cruise-ship ambiance of every whim being catered to by a willing, cheerful and capable staff! I could continue indefinitely describing our terrific experience here, but I'll close with: when you're in Rome, pamper yourself and stay at the Portrait Roma!

Amazing!
Amazing hotel that definitely earns its spot in the top hotels of the world. The service was impeccable in the small little details the differentiated them made this the best hotel of our entire European trip.

Beautiful boutique hotel, prime location
The location of this lovely small boutique hotel on the Via Condotti was amazing! We were upgraded to a spacious room with all the amenities-loved the choice of pillows and the open closet (and of course the towel warmer). The service was personable and friendly and we felt as if we were coming home each time we returned to the hotel. Will definitely come back.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The patio is a gem. Pre and post dinner drinks there are a must. You get an almost 360 degree view of Rome and you get to enjoy the Spanish steps without the crowds.

É um hotel que deveria ser classificado mais do que excelente. Nos deram up grade e foram muito gentis e solícitos em tudo o que pedíamos. Um verdadeiro cinco estrelas na Via dei Condotti. Vale a pena o custo beneficio.

Roman Holiday Dream - Perfection.
One of the best best hotel experiences start to finish! I can't say enough wonderful things about Portrait Roma. We were in Italy for our anniversary and stayed 2 nights in Roma. While in Florence we had drinks at the beautiful Portrait Florence and we decided that's where we would like to stay in Rome. Even before our arrival they were busy taking care of us. They sent us a questionnaire asking our preferences from what kind of pillows we like, to what our favorite fruits and cocktails are. Check in was a breeze and when we were taken to our room we were welcomed with a lot of the favorite we had provided them. It was magical! The room was pure luxury. The bed - heavenly. The bathroom had a wonderful tub and separate shower.....perfect for relaxing after a long day of seeing the sites. Our Balcony - just glorious with a perfect view of the Spanish Steps. One of our favorite services the hotel provided was the use of a smart phone white we were out seeing the sites. We were able to text the hotel for recommendations while we were out and about. They always gave us the best recommendations by the way! There was also navigation that you can link to your google maps - so everything we tagged was there on the hotel provided phone! Also, the location is THE BEST - there's no better location in Rome. All in all Portrait Roma you are top notch when it comes to all things hospitality. We cannot wait to return and stay with you again. Thank you so much for everything.

Delightful hotel with amazing staff. The rooftop was the perfect place to eat breakfast, relax before dinner, or enjoy a late night glass of wine. So many high end, thoughtful touches, including full size his & hers fragrances as a parting gift. The concierge arranged the perfect dinner for us and also assisted in obtain four tickets for the coliseum. Recommend 100%-it was worth the splurge!

Una estancia inolvidable
Buscábamos un hotel pequeño pero con encanto y buen servicio y no pudimos escoger mejor. El hotel tiene una ubicación inmejorable en una callejuela cercana a la Plaza de España con mucha vida y rodeado de buenos restaurantes, terrazas y tiendas. El hotel es pequeño por lo que no tiene grandes instalaciones pero la calidad de las habitaciones, su diseño, los desayunos en la terraza con vistas a la ciudad y el trato de todo el personal son inmejorables. El personal estuvo pendiente en todo momento de nuestras necesidades y sus recomendaciones fueron excelentes. Puedo decir que es uno de los mejores hoteles urbanos en los que he estado y si volvemos a Roma repetiremos sin dudarlo.

Classy boutique hotel without attitude

Simply Fabulous!
It's my 1st time in Rome. I wanted to stay in a quality hotel for safety and comfort, in a good location for convenience. I travel alone with a little dog. I am a discerning traveler, and usually keep an open mind with new places, hotels, and situations. Portrait Rome was simply fabulous in every way. I have no regrets splurging on my stay there. It was a true 5-star experience delivered without pomp, with much discretion and heart. I am already planning a return with my family!

「おもてなしの心」
念願かなり 滞在できました。1人でしたが ホテルの ご好意でスィートにアップグレードしてくださいました。「おもてなしの心」とは、初めてお会いする スタッフの方からも 「名前」で 呼ばれたり チェックインの際 色々と質問され…例えば 「新聞」「好きな音楽」など……。 新聞は良くありますが、好きな 音楽とは 、買い物から戻り 部屋に入ると それこそ好きな音楽のジャンルが 流れているんです。それにはもう びっくり‼️ 朝食のパンも美味しく しかも 「エシレバター」が用意されてます。 日本人の滞在者には 「浴衣」も。まだまだ 思い出す事がありますが ここには書ききれない程。 何ともあれ、滞在されたら この「おもてなしの心」ふれて感動されるとおもいます。 口コミでの 「再訪」頷けます。私も多分 また 滞在したいです。 是非オススメです。

its location is convenient for shopping as well as within walking distance to lots of historical attractions. There is no restaurant in the hotel but the breakfast served either on the roof terrace or in the room is sumptuous and excellent.

Sophistication and Service Magic
Sophisticated, bespoke rooms, very well appointed and comfortable. Very personal service. Little thoughtful touches enhances the 'cared for' feeling and a relaxing hassle free stay. A peaceful oasis in the middle of lively high end shops. Yes, it does take a little getting used to being above a Ferragamo store and right next door to a Hermes store in terms of accessibility to luxury shopping. Rooftop terrazzo is a a very special spot to take in the sunset.

Small, luxury boutique hotel, excellent location
Great stay, small boutique hotel with only a dozen or so rooms. Outstanding location a minute or so from the Spanish steps. Rooms were beautiful, contemporary yet warm and luxurious. Staff was attentive. Highly recommended.

Portraits Suite Hotel
We loved this hotel. It is a little jewel in the middle of the area of Rome below the Spanish Steps. It is a unique, contemporary, and beautifully appointed hotel with wonderful and gracious service. Breakfast on the roof and cocktails on the roof were a treat and offers an opportunity to watch Rome as it awoke in the morning and as its lights came on in the evening. Every questions we asked was answered and every arrangement we needed was made promptly and graciously. The homage to Ferragamo is part of this hotel's charm.
