We highly recommend this little bed and breakfast in Rome.
The pros:
- Super welcoming and helpful staff. We’d come back just because of them. They really went above and beyond for us on both arrival and departure, and we’re so appreciative. Thanks for the great service!
- Delicious breakfast in a wonderful place around the corner. The food, decor and service contributed to us looking forward to this every morning during our stay.
- Modern and large-sized room, where everything feels new. Our room faced the street and we did not hear any street noise, and rather enjoyed the light coming in from the big windows.
- Perfect location in the historic center. Not only were we just blocks away from everything we came to see, but we were also blocks away from where the limited traffic area ends. We drove to Rome and needed to unload/reload our car, so we were glad we chose this location.
The cons:
- The “elevator” barely fits one person, so it’s so tiny it’s basically useless. We are travelling with a toddler - and stroller, toys, and extra bags - and getting in and out through the multiple doors and sets of stairs and no elevator was not easy. I’d rather they advertised “no elevator” and have it be a nice surprise to anyone who can make use of it.
- The room and most of the bathroom were spotless, but the walls of the shower had lots of soap and water stains the day we arrived. This was the only detail in the room that looked like it had been overlooked.
