Soggiorno was a pleasant stay! Me and my boyfriend are in our young 20s from Canada and I'm very picky about where I stay.
The hotel is about a 20 minute walk from train station with suitcases. The Hotel was easy to find with Google maps. Centrally located. There was friendly staff at check-in who guided us to our room and answered all our questions about how to get around, where to eat, etc, I feel like they went above and beyond.
The room was slightly dated, small TV (but we didn't watch TV because we were in Rome and theres better things to see), clean room and bathroom, old bed but we slept fine! The only complaint about the room other than dated was the shutters over the window didn't fully open so the room felt dark, I'm assuming all rooms aren't this way but that was the only issue, very minor.
The hotel had lovely breakfast and check-out was a breeze, and the staff called us a cab!
Overall, we had a very pleasant stay, the hotel is clean and centrally located, walkable to the translation and all major attractions, yes it's a little dated, but it's true Rome style! Good value!
