I do regret the rare occasions when we do not match our guest expectations- mistakes do sometimes happen, and we can only learn from them and revisit our service offering - but do feel that this is somewhat inaccurate regards the suggested wait time, and especially the suggestion regards no apology being offered. A very sincere and concerned apology was offered at the time.

Thank you for your feedback - which is always welcome to help us improve our offering to guests. I am sorry to hear that whilst the team offered great service, we fell short with regards the product. We are an old building and since taking over towards the end of 2016, we have steadily been working our way around our bedrooms replacing furnishings and generally redecorating. The plumbing clearly let us down your first morning and was investigated during the day so am disappointed that still failed you on the second morning. I clearly would like that you afford us an opportunity to match your expectations of product and service on a future stay, so should you change your mind regards returning then please do contact me direct with regards your room allocation.

Many thanks for your feedback as it only by listening to our customers that we can ensure we maintain our standards of product and service. I regret that the loft room did meet your requirements. Due to the age and nature of the building we are not able to offer a lift and therefore do visibly state this in several places on our website -highlighting that we are not ideally suited for those with walking difficulties. Whilst we do not have a porter as such - our duty managers are here to assist with luggage and any other enquiry day or night. We do not have phones in bedrooms which generally adds to the appeal of a totally relaxing break, however for security, we offer assurance that the duty manager is always on site and can be contacted by dialling the hotel number from your mobile device. This information is shared at check in and is in our guests compendium. Our team is made up of an equal balance of both male and female employees? Please do contact me direct should you wish to discuss your stay.
