We stayed here for three nights when exploring the Chitwan area. I found the hotel a little further out from town than I expected, but the resort was extremely attractive and relaxing. The rooms were also very nicely decorated and spacious with individual balconies that overlook the centre of the resort. While I did not use the hotel pool, I could see it was very big and clean and noticed pool cleaners and groundsmen attending to it appearance everyday.
My only gripe was the food in the restaurant, which was over priced and I would not have described the dishes as anything special. It filled a hole in the tummy, but I would have expected a higher quality being served from this type of resort. When I travel, I want to eat the local dishes, I can eat my style of food anytime. I also do not want the dishes to be amended to suit western tastes, it has to be authentic. That is one of the bonuses of travelling.
Breakfast had a good assortment on offer but again, very bland and not anything to write about.
The staff though were all very attentive and pleasant from the front door to reception to wait staff and ground staff.
I had been touring Nepal as a bit of a culinary tour and I hate to say it, but this was one of the biggest disappointments of the resort.
I still highly recommend the place, but suggest that you eat elsewhere and that would make the perfect stay.
