We are a hotel that cares the personalized service, from the reservation until after the Checkout, we provide support and advice on issues that are not even within our area, but we do that and your case was not an exception. First, you and your wife stayed the last week of September, the time of the year when heat, rains and especially mosquitoes are very typical of the area. Even so, every guest who during their stay has a problem with the room, whether due or problems with the air conditioning, the comfort of the bed or some filtration because of the heavy rain, we have the quality policy to give an immediate solution or make a free UpGrade, and although we fix its inconvenience, we have not registered any report from you with any of the hotel managers. After your stay, the first two weeks of October, the hotel was closed, so the calls you made could not be answered only by email. As for the issuance of the security deposit at Check in, it applies to all hotels. What we do is a block for the amount indicated on arrival and after your visit, it will be unlocked. For additional payments during the stay, we offer to the customer the option to pay in cash, with another credit card or with the security deposit, but refusing to use that amount for the payment of extras is something that does not make much sense. Since the deposit of our system is unlocked, it is the bank that takes between 5 and 10 business days (it depends on your bank) to return your card balance. We are not responsible for this procedure and we invite you to consult with the managers of your bank so that you understand that your comment does not fit the truth and much less your rating. I knew the inconvenience that I personally contacted your wife several times and, in coordination with the bank, the answer was that you should communicate knowing the time of the administration. Mr. Small, the problems in a reservation can be many, but all our clients know that we are very good with everyone and with the best intentions. After explaining the problem, we accept your decision not to return to our hotel and we are sure that on your next vacation you will find a hotel that fits your economy and requirements.
