While the actual stay at The Double Tree was good, my experience with Hotels.com was horrendous. II felt like I was in a comedy skit; like when your room gets cancelled and you contact the costumer service dept for help and the service agent (Gabriel) berates and insults the client in condescending, sarcastic tones all while holding your refund hostage and not helping in way shape or form. When asked to speak to a supervisor, and without putting me on hold he told me it would be 3hrs before anyone could talk to me and that they would tell me the same thing. Anyway, I figured out the room situation with the hotel itself and got a better rate that what Hotels.com could offer ($100 discount). As a Hotels.com member since 2007, this might have been my last booking through their site.
