Super cute property! Easy check in! Perfect location and close to the beach. We always had a place to park too. Only thing I would have liked would have been an ice machine. There was one in the lobby but not sure it worked. The water kept running. The ice wasn’t already made. Other than that, it was a nice stay!

El Rancho Motel is a very quaint and quiet place and very well kept. The check in process was easy and I would go back again! ;-)

This was such a cute boutique motel in a great area and staff was very friendly and kind. Everything was clearly clean and remodeled with love. Only downside was the tiny space heater that took a while to heat up the space at night, but eventually it would kick in.

This property was adorable. From the outside to the inside it was very thought through. Parking can be difficult though and our room was tiny. Everything else was fantastic. Will visit again.

Definitely stay here!
El Rancho was a pleasant surprise! Cheapest hotel on the island but did not disappoint by any means. Extremely clean, super cute room and property was beautifully decorated! We loved the front communal patio. I was nervous to book but so glad I did and will 100% always come back to el rancho. The day of check in we received a text 4 hours early from owner that we are able to do early check in. The process was super simple!! Parking was a breeze as well. Super kind people although we did not meet face to face, owners are very accommodating.
Beach towels for occupants use! Bed was very comfy
Perfect space to relax! We loved the fridge and appreciated the closet space.
Bathroom was extremely clean! I actually took 2 baths!

We had a hard time checking in. No one was at the office. We finally got ahold of an employee and they said I should have received a text with check in I formation. We never received it.

Not really a motel since there is very little parking. Motel advertises that it offers housekeeping but one day the bed wasn’t made even though it was evident that housekeepers had been in the room.

Great place to stay
El Rancho was great, I've already recommended it to others less than a week after returning. Very clean, comfortable bed, easy check in and check out. 15 minute easy walk to Hotel Del. The only improvement would be if there were a mirror of some kind outside of the bathroom, so that two people could get ready at the same time.

Loved our stay
The perfect little place. It was myself and 2 kids (teens) and it was just what we needed. Check in and check out was very easy and so convenient. They also had a water cooler which was really helpful to fill up our water bottles before hitting the beach or the road. Everything worked and we were very comfortable. Kathy was great with recommendations and even helping us when we had to go back because we left something in the room.

Darling place to stay and I was able to walk to my sons house, which was very convenient! Beds were comfortable and I felt safe.

Very cute and well maintained place despite being an older hotel. Comfortable outdoor areas to hang out in. Rooms aren’t big but use of space is great. The only odd thing I found was that housekeeping gave fresh towels and took out garbage but didn’t make beds. Not a big deal just a bit different. Overall a charming place with a gr at location in a beautiful place.

Do stay here and enjoy the flamingos!
This place is so super cute!! The pink flamingos were adorable as a theme both out in the little garden and in my room. I was disappointed that I did not get housekeeping service (I stayed 2 nights), but clean towels (not sheets) were available in the office. The self check in was easy and I enjoyed my stay overall. I have already told friends to stay here.

I had so much trouble with my Expedia booking for this property. It was a terrible experience. However, the team at El Rancho went out of their way to resolve issues. I dealt with three different people at El Rancho prior to our stay and all were friendly and helpful. Our stay was everything we had hoped and more. The only thing I would change is to add a cooler to the room we were in, but it’s San Diego and we didn’t spend much time in the room so it wasn’t a problem. I would definitely recommend El Rancho

I loved this place parking was easy and our room was so cute and very clean, just one problem it’s self serve,, get your keys no one is in the office, we wanted to pay with a different credit card but couldn’t find anyone,,we did see the cleaning lady when we were leaving and she was very pleasant,

Great location. El Rancho is a fun little spot. It is quiet and peaceful and just a few blocks from great dining and activities. Patios on both side of the property are perfect for relaxing in the cool breeze. We’ll definitely go back!

The room and property are extremely well maintained and spotless clean. The times themselves however are really small inside. There are several outside locations to sit and relax however.

Check in wasn’t the best. No staff available when we arrived at 3pm. Only way to get you’re keys was to ring the owner but when we did there was no answer. Luckily there was another guest passing by who helped us get our keys otherwise we would could of been hanging around Wasting precious time when we could of been doing something else. Other than that the rooms were small but clean and the area it’s self was excellent. Close to the ferry, beach and Restaurants. I would recommend.

Easiest check-in and check-out ever. They texted me the code to the front office and had my key sitting on the counter. Check-out is dropping a key in a lockbox. The location is great. I went to a baseball game. It's an easy walk to the ferry, a short boat ride, and an easy walk to the stadium.

The El Rancho is so cute and quaint! It's a really sweet little place and it's clear the owners take good care of the property. The room was clean and comfortable. It was also really quiet which was nice for being streetside. Definitely would stay here again!

The rooms very poorly ventilated. I had a hard time breathing and was often light headed. Rooms also reeked of chemicals they used for cleanings and the fumes persisted because of lack of air circulation. I couldn't open the windows because there would often be someone smoking outside. The bathroom floors would get wet if I took a shower. The floors would remain wet and wouldn't dry even if left for an entire day. Although the price is cheap I wouldn't recommend.

It’s a great walk to the Del about 1 mile. Bed was kind of hard . Cute little place , as most on Coronado are! Wonderful price point . Money saver if you doubt mind the steps!! Overall easy stay and convenient to shops and restaurants at the bay

Place was gross, toilet paper roll was crumpled and used, mold on the window frame, and blood soiled underneath the sheets. Front Desk didn’t care what we had found.
