We stayed for two nights the room was very clean and safe. All the staff were really nice and welcoming. The pool was our favorite part!

Nothing to walk to.. have to drive to get anywhere but good location for driving. Pools and sauna DIRTY. I couldn't bring myself to swim or soak in it. Bummer.

The hotel overall is nice. No complaints about the cleanliness of the facility at all. There were heavy rains the second night I was there and my roof was leaking. Was moved to a different room. Overheard another guest experiencing the same issue so perhaps facility improvements are needed, but the staff was helpful in fixing it. I was placed in a new room on the very far end of the hotel property. It’s a pretty large property. The only two complaints I have are that 1) the key cards kept failing for no reason (four times during my four night visit) which required me returning to the reception desk from my room on the opposite side of the property multiple times to have the cards fixed, and 2) although I had a do not disturb sign on my door, the room service staff knocked on my door almost every day. I wouldn’t care normally, but was working overnights when there and sleeping during the day so it was a disruption. The hotel may wish to look at that. Overall, it’s definitely a decent hotel. I visit San Diego every week and have stayed at many hotels in the area. I may stay at this one again if on a discount, but for the normal rate probably will not as other options are similar at a better value.

Older, clean, but had to ask for too many things (like towels for the pool and explaining the parking and breakfast; apparently’available’ means they have a lot, but you have to pay. Same with breakfast ‘available’.)

Great hotel with comfortable rooms and lots of amenities! Manny the bartender makes excellent drinks and has great customer service! If I come back to the area, I will definitely stay here.

There was a lot i wish i wilould have been made aware of befor rentinting a room. Biggest one no elevators, and we were upstairs. No room service, if you call the desk they cant leave from behind the counter to tell the restaurant right next. to them scramble an egg they missed in your order so that when you get there it will be at least cooking. You will have to run back and forth to where you need to go in the hotel, it was hard with 2 seniors which one is handy capped and a child. They could not accommedate us with a downstairs room because they did not have the same room we reserved downstairs is what i was told. So my mom took a good 10 minutes to go up and down the stairs. Just wish i was aware of this before reserving the room. Also Expedia charged me 40 dollars for a extra guest, i dont know why, we had 4 people and 2 beds, the hotel said they dont do that. So it was not easy.

Hotel is in a great location. Easy walk tk Fashion Valley and local transit station giving access to Old Town and San Diego. Great pool area with plenty of sunbeds and tables. Limited menu in restaurant but food was good with fully stocked bar. They charge for parking but no resort fee and decent WiFi speed. Would certainly stay again.

I stayed here for a convention at the Town & Country Convention Center. Perfect distance for walking to the T&C. Property is dated but in a very cool way. Like stepping back into the 60's or 70's. Room was a good size, VERY clean and comfortable bed. I was on the 2nd level (no elevators) and the room had very large windows with great black out curtains. Would stay again if in the area and would recommend if you like the retro feel.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel! The outside is older but the room was clean and the staff was great! We would stay here again. It was also close to the ocean and downtown.
