the competitive advantage is the staff. checking in with the gentleman was simple. he had a warm greeting and made our group feel safe. however, the property is in need of restoration. the room is plagued with water damage, ripped linen, cracked foundation and outdated decoration.

Room is dirty with cockroaches and hair in the sink and shower. Told the front desk and they were rude and disrespectful- didn't offer to clean it or provide another room. Just gave me some cleaning solution so I could clean it myself.

Welcome to Ghetto Inn.. This place is terrible! Weed smoking at my door, paper thin walls, no functioning TV, no security between adjacent doors, no security on the front door. Parking lot pimps staring at me as I unloaded my car. I slept maybe two hours intermittently…. Negative Stars at this dump!

Overall, we got what we payed for. The rooms were decently clean and had most amenities. However, the room wasn’t very noise proof and it was easy to hear the neighbors and outside from inside the room even with the windows and door closed. We also had issues with unknown bugs coming in the room every night. Customer service was overall pretty good and room service cleaned well.

This was a great last minute hotel, the beds were comfortable, the room was spacious and equipped with a coffee maker , It was affordable, clean and over all really nice , 10/10 :)

This is the worst and dirtiest hotel I’ve seen very disappointed by the pictures. Don’t recommend for families with children

Will be kept up all night with people blasting music in the parking lot. Loud yelling and stomping from upstairs rooms. Room was dirty, lights were broken. One hanging from the ceiling.

For whatever reason this property gets some poor reviews. You get what you pay for and this location is great value and a nice walk down to a beautiful harbor. The manager responds to respectful requests and I thought he did a great job.The freeway noise is constant but not as intrusive as some places Ive stayed because the traffic is flowing well. I couldn't hear anything from the other room occupants. I actually stayed an extra day and will go back when Im in the area. The bed's good ,the shower works well,the towels are fresh.What more do you want?

It is not the place to stay. Didn't stay I left and got another place to stay. Never again will I book here or recommend this place. Photos are fake and the room I was issued would have been a janitors closet with no view besides a wall from the adjoining building. Should be condemned.

I could hear people, through the adjoining door, in the other room all night. Unpleasant staff behaved like I was doing them a favor staying there.

Horrible place to stay
The room was filthy dirty. We had broken pieces of wood. Hair in the bathtub. The front service desk wasn’t there at first so we could let him know, but then his comment was he is not the owner so.

Hotel was run down. Bathroom door was tore up from the bottom you could see through. Dirty towels left in bathroom when we went in the first day. The whole area smelled of weed. Not a great place to stay at. The only good thing was the distance from the water.

I stayed here twice in the past 30 days. I really liked the price! And staff and customer service were spot on. The rooms were pretty clean, and the bed was comfortable. And I could see my car from window as parking is right in front. My only complaint is the bathroom fan/vent was completely clogged with dust. Other than that, for the price, I’d stay here again!

The price was excellent, considering the property's proximity to the ocean and freeway. It was next to a gas station and diner, which was convenient. One night I had to park on the street since there were no free spaces in the hotel parking lot. It's an older hotel but clean.

Not four star but good for budget minded traveler
Overall hotel wasn't bad, but it definitely needs some TLC. We had the 3 queen size room. Walkways were dirty could use some freshening up with new paint. In the room, large portions of paint missing from walls. Wall paper torn as well. Doors could use a fresh coat of paint as well. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were adequate with towels. Bathroom was clean. A/C -heater combination worked well. Freeway noise constant. Our room was near the front of the hotel. Get a room towards the back, you may not hear the noise from the freeway then. Pricing decent for the area and what for what you get.

Sleep by the harbor
Good place to stay at for a bed and shower. Not the most cleanliness place. A lot of the furniture is damaged. There is a microwave and a little fridge which is cool. The damages explain the deposit required for the stay. Heater and AC worked great. There's also a coffee pot and coffee and sugar packets. There's a closet with a iron and some hangers. Towels were good. Bring some shampoo and soap though. Other than the damages on the room from bad tenants, I had a great stay. It was quiet and people were friendly.

I reserve a room in san Diego when I got there was disappointed was a room with a bed and a bathroom nothing else sad room i didn't used i when with my relatives to dinner i check others hotels i got another room in Rodeway inn one minute from the other room Rodeway inn is the best 2 Queens sizes bed for very good price big rooms i like it I'm very happy 😊. And i am morales. Not morames like you say..

Vert basic property. Had No change my sheets, when checking out was told I needed to Ask for room service. No sign told me this. Have a $100 deposit suppose to be here in 5 day, again never told I would need to have a deposit. I will however now I know the rules, the bed was comfortable.

Everything in the room was broken down! Tub was clogged with hair. My kids couldn't take a bath. The lamps were broken down. The heating didn't work. The volume on the tv would come and go.
