This was a great value and only the blocks away from ocean beach. Only downside is there is a bar (Pitt’s Pub) underneath some of the rooms and the patrons were loud the two nights I was there on a Wednesday and Thursday. The bar goers were a bit loud off and on from midnight to closing. The street car light rail that goes by is also a bit loud. Despite the loudness I would stay here again because it’s a great value.

The nicest of the three hotels in the area in my opinion. Super convenient to N. Ocean Beach and awesome food. Staff is extremely friendly.

Nothing works, the microwave does not work, the carpet is gross … don’t go barefoot. The air doesn’t work… it’s humid inside and anyone can climb up the stairs to the hotel… choose travel lodge or the other two. Don’t choose this one. I think there’s mold.

place was a good value. nice and clean. funny the parking sais "do not back in". I guess you then have to back out? the downside is the blesses electric train does shake the building. it sounds just a a wind gust on the top of mount washington. so pleasant after you know its not a hurricane.

Great location
Can't complain here, read the reviews and expected worse. No bedbugs and no cockroaches so that's a plus. This place is two blocks from the beach, two blocks from Golden Gate Park, coffee shops in every direction. The wifi password is shown on the TV, a bit surprised there's carpet and not tile (Room 16). Very quiet for my experience

Simple room, clean and comfortable bed. The outside lights come into the room from around the door and windows even with the curtains. I wish I was able to shut them off for better sleep.No cups in room. I travel with coffee, kettle and French press and fortunately this time a tumbler. There’s a fridge and microwave.

Room was dirty, old, uncomfortable and very loud.
Do not stay in room 19. It is directly over a bar that plays loud music unitl midnight. The person in charge will not tell you this and will not allow you to change rooms if you need to sleep before midnight. The room smelled bad, had filth in many areas built up, and has very loud street noise from the single pane windows. We were in the area for a medical procedure the next day and needed to rest and were unable to.

Amazing. Five minutes to the beach. They work really hard on the landscaping and little touches that make your stay special. 11/10 would stay again!

Being this was a 2 star motel, I brought a sleeping bag and pillow cover-but I happily discovered that the motel room seemed very clean-carpet, linens, counters, etc… I picked this motel for location to beach, GG Park, and in residential neighborhood that’s very walkable to food/activities. What I did not love was the dirty extension cord. Another issue was the loud Muni, esp at night (from 6am-midnight), but that is not fault of the motel. I will def return, but will be prepared for noise.

Clean-even under sink and crevices.
Wi-Fi, light, didn’t use TV. Microwave and fridge very clean.

Pricey for what it can offer.
Pricey as to what this motel can offer. On the positive is it's close to beach and to school where we need to go for the move in. It's poorly maintained.

Stay was OK. Far too many stairs since I have bad knees, it was tough climbing up 2 flights. Noise was really bad since room was close to cable car track.

Great stay, we for sure go back
Location was great. Driving was 4 minutes from beach, 8 minutes to zoo and 12 minutes from California academy of science. Also walking was 2 blocks from 711 and a great Thai restaurant. Lots of others walking distance. Motel was perfect for our trip and even included a small fridge and microwave. Bus stops right in front which was a little loud but you get used to it.

The Beach motel is a great value, is conveniently located on Judah it's just a few blocks from the beach one thing I really liked about it is the location and how quiet it is compared to other hotels I've been to I would definitely stay there again.

Small, affordable hotel room with a fridge and microwave (which is hard to find in San Francisco sometimes!). The only downsides were that there was no AC, the pillows weren’t the best, and no screens on the windows. There is a furnace heater that gets super warm. Definitely will be staying here again

We've stayed at 3 hotels near my in-law's in the Sunset District / near the Zoo. This place is no frill, so a bit cheaper, but it still had a microwave and fridge. We felt the room was clean, but perhaps dated (but that does not bother us). We appreciated saving the money. We did not get a WiFi code, and we wondered later if that was included (but we didn't ask). Our room faced the back, so we did not have the noise from the street cars; some rooms face the street.

This place was disgusting! The blankets were not even clean, there was stains from the last person. The windows were not even sealed, it was terrifying! Definitely will not bring my family back.
