한국인 관점에서 보면 모텔 정도 생각하시면 될거같아요 깨끗한 편인데 변기청소가 제 경우엔 잘 안되어 있어서 일점 뺐습니다 주변에 작은 상점이랑 몰이 있어서 걸어서 가기 좋고 안전한편이나 밤에 걷는건 어느 경우에도 추천 안드려요. 공항이 엄청 가까워서 저처럼 새벽 비행기 타시는 분들은 좋을듯합니다. 직원분들이 엄청 친절하고 일처리 바로 해주셔서 좋아요 . 사실 직원 서비스때문에 좋은 별점 드린거예요 . Their customer service was great . They were very friendly and helpful . It is located pretty close by SFO airport. There are small shops and small mall by hotel . But my toilet bowl wasn’t that clean . Except that everything was good !

Although you can hear plane sounds it did not disrupt our sleep. Room clean, comfortable, quiet heating, nice TV, great towels. Refrigerator did not work. Lots of places to eat nearby or you can call to deliver. Wine and beer available in hotel. Nice breakfast.

Called night receptionist at 0030 past midnight to ask if I could book the room via Expedia as I had missed my international flight and needed to sleep. He said yes he had availability but book after midnight, which I did. Took $48 Uber to hotel 0045 am and he refused to give me the room until checkin at 3 pm. I am a 70 yr old lady and they took my funds which was non refundable and expected me to return that afternoon. But he offered a” more expensive “ room immediately if I paid more money. PLEASE BEWARE AS THEY PULL STUNTS LIKE THIS AND STEAL YOUR MONEY. Expedia was a non refundable transaction. Remember, I called after midnight and asked to pay the overnight rate, but would only have the room till 11-12 noon. He said yes use Expedia and then left me high and dry at 1:30 in the morning. Shocking customer service.

Hello Madam, I humbly request you to not to narrate wrong story. The fact is you called after midnight to check availability of room. My front desk person specifically told you that he has only 1 X suit room available and he quoted you the rate, then you said that you are getting better rate online and FD said that if you are getting better rate for said date then it's your wish. You arrived after midnight with wrong date booking (instead of 3/20 ,you booked online for 3/21) which was not our mistake though we offered you the help of charging the difference (regular room to suit) and give you the only suit room available. You did not agreed to it and was asking for refund, though it was non-refundable booking we refunded the charges and gave you the print proof of refund.

I tried to shower in the morning, but there was no warm water. I waited for over an hour, but ended up leaving without being able to shower. Moreover, the hotel manager was unfriendly.

I was tired and ready to spread out when I arrived. I was greeted with a friendly face and offered a complimentary glass of wine ( or bottled water). I gratefully accepted the wine and had a nice nightcap before falling into bed! Although the hotel is on a busy street, the windows kept most of the noise to a quiet hum. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a log!

The sheets had drop stains on them and they had the appearance of blood , could’ve been ketchup but wasn’t taking any chance . This ruined the ability to relax even though they changed them out .

Friendly and good upkeep.
We were waiting for the shuttle transfer from SFO airport at 10:01pm. The 10:20pm classic van picked us up after 10:45pm. And we arrived at 11:08pm. The desk persons would not open the manual doors while we had to drag 4 luggage among 2 of us. But their attitude was friendly and our frustration soon disappeared. It looks like an Indian family owns the business converting previously known as Days Inn. The room has a tall ceiling and newish fittings but the thermostat is out of service. But temperature was 55°F and it was not cold inside. The moving large desk table was very helpful for our use. And, the room lighting was adequate for its class. The included breakfast was already available before 6am. And, cheese and egg omelets are prepped ahead of time and the rest of the oatmeals, yogurt, juices, toast, and apples are all of the good standard. The shuttle drivers of both night and 7:05am are cordial even some Chinese passengers were rude and abusive. The overall experience of ours do match the previous reviewers. I would come back to the friendly operation and the good upkeeps. Better experiences than Aloft or Westin we had stayed in SFO area.

Shuttle from SFO airport to Hotel 1550 only runs on the hour. I just missed it and had to pay a $25 taxi fare for a ride of less than 10 minutes. The room I was given had extremely audible traffic noise all night long. When I asked for another room I was told all the rooms that were left were on the same side of the building facing the onslought of continuous traffic. This was an awful experience after a 6 hour flight from the East Coast!!!!
