What a Gem in Dumaguete-Sibulan-San Jose area!
We felt at home at Star View Boutique Hotel. The staff was very accommodating- anticipating our every need. We loved the fresh fruit platter, and coffee. The kids especially loved the fried chicken- even the pickiest eater loved it! The pool was the funnest part for both adults and kids, with the swing, hammocks, and other rest areas on the sides. The room and living space themselves were very spacious, and functional- except the TV that was defective but we really didn’t use it, except to entertain the kids during downtime. For the negatives, the road going up the hotel was dirt rocky road of a very short distance but noticeable enough because it is steep and coarse. Another is in the bathroom, the lack of anti-slip material in the generously-sized shower area: not for young and elderly guests because floor was slippery. Over-all, I highly recommend the place for families- it’s the perfect place to stay when in the Dumaguete area for families and several group of friends!

All aspects of this resort were excellent. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The owner also was very helpful ensuring everything about our stay was excellent and that everything was always very good.

Stayed in the beautiful suite. Arrived late so couldn’t enjoy the hotel tovthe max but it looked lovely. Had pancakes for breakfast which was presented nicely and tasted amazing.

Very good location, on a hill by the sea. 7km from the city centre, very quiet and beautiful, close to the beautiful tourist spot Bais city. The room was large, with a kitchen. Clean swimming pool and good food cheap price. It was worth your while to stay for a whole week.

My Filipina girlfriend and I stayed here in last week of April, 2018. If you want to rest and relax, this is your place. This is not on the beach however, and I would advise a top floor room if interested in a little better view. I asked my girlfriend to marry me, when we stayed there,she said yes!

Great Value
Villa Pedro is an excellent hotel. It is small, with only four rooms, and a Spanish-style villa. The grounds are well-kept, rooms spacious, and an overall relaxing experience. The food is good and reasonably priced. It is also a convenient jump-off point for activities. However, like other reviews mention, location is the only issue, but that is going to be a problem pretty much everywhere because the activities are very spread out. For example, Oslob (whale sharks), Siquijor, and Apo Island all depart from different ports.

Great Hotel
Beautiful hotel, owner and staff are absolutely charming. Quiet location yet a tricycle ride away from town. Gorgeous views from the hotel over looking the water and Southpoint of Cebu 3miles across the way.

Small hotel in a quiet location.
This hotel is in a quiet location outside of Dumaguete. Public transport is readily available and cheap so getting to Dumaguete City is very easy. The hotel staff are very attentive. The hotel food is very good and reasonably priced. The hotel is very well maintained and professionally managed.

Super gepflegtes Hotel mit toller Aussicht
Es gibt nur 4 Zimmer im Hotel, was die Atmosphäre sehr familiär und individuell auf die Gäste zugeschnitten macht. Die Zimmer oben haben einen schönen Ausblick und alles ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Frühstück ist lecker und wird frisch zubereitet und das Team ist super nett und zuvorkommend. Einzig und allein die Lage ist etwas abseits- d.h. man muss immer fahren- ca. 30min bis Dumaguete. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Perfect Place to Relax
We booked this hotel the same day we checked in. We expected and found a nice, relaxing hotel. The owners are very down to earth and helped us organize the trips (went to swim with turtles, whale sharks and saw dolphins) . We stayed in every night and it was very relaxing.

Spacious Luxury - Bargain Price

Wir waren - leider - nur 5 Tage in Villa-Pedro. Uns erwartete eine Anlage der Spitzenklasse. Das Hotel hat nur vier Apartments. Jedes Apartment hat eine Größe von ca. 75 qm und besteht aus einem Wohm-/Sclafraum, einer komplett eingerichteten Küche und einem modenen Badezimmer. Die Apartments sind daher auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt bestens geeignet. Die Zimmer sind bestens möbliert mit Essbereich, Wohnbereich mit großem TV und DVD-Player und Schlafbereich mit zwei grossen Betten. Alles ist sauber und gepflegt. Die beiden oberen Apartments haben Blick auf das Meer; die unteren beiden auf den geplegten Garten mit Swimmingpool. Das angebotene Frühstück ist sensationell. Leckere Brötchen, frisch zuberetete Eierspeisen und frisches Obst. Abends wird der Grill angeworfen und dazu dann ein feines SM Pilsen und der Tag kann geruhsam ausklingen. Die Betreuung durch das Gastgeberpaar Mary-Ann und Michel ist perfekt. Jeder Wunsch wird aus den Augen abgelesen. Ebenso sind die Angestellten freundlich, zuvorkommend und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Wir werden bestimmt wiederkommen.

4 nights stay in Villa San Pedro
Perfect stay in a charming place, with very nice rooms and a dedicated staff. The 4 rooms have a beautiful swimming pool and sea views, they are very large and perfectly equiped. The food prepared by the staff is delicious and the two owners are very kind and helpful. Very good value for money compared to our other hotels in the Philippines.
