I always stay here when visiting Friday Harbor. Not fancy, just nice care shown with the little things. Very convenient, quiet, clean. Staff is helpful & friendly.

The property is clean and exactly what i was expecting with easy parking and overall great experience. Its is not a luxury hotel, but it is so necessary to have something clean and reliable as well as affordable, I have family on the island and appreciate Orca inn for making the island for accessible for us.

Overall our stay was nice. Our room has two bathrooms which was very convenient especially if you are sharing a room with friends.

This is my second stay in Orca Inn. It was definitely okay at a lesser cost. The location is convenient and the room was cozy. The lay-out was okay but it would be better if we have other options for the tv shows and a coffee station per building would be a great add-on.

Thank you for staying with us here at The Orca Inn. All rooms have "smart tv's" that offer thousands of channels and log in ability to numerous account providers. The Inn offers an extensive "Coffee, Tea & Hot Chocolate Bar" by the Office as well as water & ice.

Good stay
Great price, convenient location, and very welcoming staff. Room was small, but it had everything I needed. My only negative is that the pillows were very flat so I wished I had brought my own, but that is just my personal preference - I’m sure the staff would have been happy to replace them, but it wasn’t uncomfortable enough that I wanted to bother them with the request.

Wonderful stay!
First time ever writing a review for a hotel because it was just that good! The rooms are incredibly well kept and the whole place is spotless. The grounds we beautiful as well. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back. Highly highly recommend to anyone coming to the San Juan’s.

Convenient location but not very quiet because it is close to the airport. Our room had a double bed; one side of the bed was next to the wall, which made it hard for my spouse to get up and use the bathroom. The bed was not comfortable. We checked out early.

Too tiny for two
We checked in with Kathryn , very nice . We looked at our room? 2 71 yr. Olds) and realized I would not be able to get out of bed on my side because it was too small. I am up several times in the night so it just wasn’t going to work for us. We asked for an upgrade( very willing to pay more! But there were none. We had to try and hustle up another room for the night and it was sunset already. Interesting place but the room is adequate for one person really. Nice enough, very basic but clean and friendly. When I say small I mean very small.

The Inn has a variety of room sizes including Two Queen Bed Rooms and King Rooms that are much more spacious than the Micro Queen Rooms. The Inn is always in high demand and was sold-out on the larger rooms for the evening.

Dissappointing
The property was as described, bare bones accomodations. Not even a phone in the room. First impression was cozy, but well used. Stains on the carpet, miss-matched hangers, bathroom door running into the side of the bed. No iron or ironing board in the room. In the AM noticed fleas and other bugs in the bed and my husband had multiple bites on his ankle.

Thank you for staying with us here at The Orca Inn. The Orca Inn is extremely clean and free of all pet dander, hair, or fleas. The Inn does not allow pets and if a service dog is on the property the rooms are specially cleaned. Unfortunately some guest will sneak them in not having concerns for the property, other guest, or protocol for the venue. When a pet is found to be in a room, the room has to have special attention, carpet shampoo, etc. It is distressing when guests do not consider the repercussion that comes from their inconsideration. You came to the front desk upon check out and quietly spoke with management bringing aware that a pet had been in the room and evidence of a flea which was kind unlike your public post. The room has been ridden of all associated pet issues. Again, The Orca Inn does not allow pets. Respectfully, Catherine Eye - Management THE ORCA INN San Juan Island, WA

My single room was perfect cozy size for just me, close to everything, I didn’t have a car so the grocery store right next door was great. All of the info at the front desk is great too. Would definitely come back

I thought the facility was very adequate for what we wanted. That is, not too fancy or expensive for just an overnight stay before we caught our tour. The location was also very walkable to get out and see some of Friday Harbor.

This inn offers wonderful accommodations with a rich background story (I won't spoil the surprise with details). Great stopover for a weekend trip. Wish we could have stayed longer - so much to explore.

We love the double amenities in the room. Walking to town is 10 mins. The best is San Juan bakery just across the street.
