I took this place because I wanted to take a shower on my way from Lima to Cusco and guess what they did not have hot water at 2 in the morning and the receptionist told me that he's going to fix it and he never did I left the place at 4 a.m. and I checked in at 2 a.m. this is not a place that anybody wants to spend any time in it.

This hotel was only 15 min by taxi from Lima hotel. Great place when you have a 8+ hour layover.

Good for a short stay
An enjoyable stay although the local area is not so pleasant. There are places to eat nearby. It is a good taxi drive from the airport. The staff are pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast was adequate

Excellent hotel does everything right!
This hotel does everything right. They are very nice and competent, and the room and breakfast were just as promised! Thank you Machu Picchu Suites, for helping us start our Peru vacation on the right foot. We will recommend this hotel to friends and family.

airport transfer
We needed a convenient location near the airport twice - once coming in and once leaving Lima. This was perfect with good communication, a large room which even included a kitchenette. The manager was able to coordinate with several family members and get us to and from the airport and restaurants in perfect time.

Avoid like the plague
How did we chose this place??? It was awful. Terrible location. After checking in we passed by another room that had...wait for this..a outside window. I ask why we were given a cave instead of this room (the place was empty) and they said they are all the same. Room 'window' overlooked the kitchen so at 6 am we had a built in alarm clock...Avoid like the plague

Nice and quiet little hotel.
Very close to the airport and they will provide a driver who will wait to pick you up for a very small fee. Staff are extremely friendly and quick to answer any questions about the area.

Bastante bueno en cuanto a limpieza y atención del personal, sin embargo los fines de semana lamentablemente los vecinos están de fiestas y el ruido es incómodo..... esto dura como hasta las 2:00 de la mañana......pero cuando andas con sueño pasa.....El desayuno es bufett pero no hay mucha variedad y es muy pequeño el desayunador.

Disappointed
We booked Machu Picchu Suites based on reviews and its star rating. We had to overnight in Lima before an early flight. After the hotel emailed saying they would arrange a taxi for $14, the driver told us it would be $25 because it was a holiday. The hotel is in a fairly grim looking part of Lima. The room we had was quite seedy (for the price). We slept OK until the early jet arrivals started about 5am. Better value in San Isidro or Miraflores.

Clean and perfect for a short stay.
I checked in well after sunset and left well before sunrise. My room was very clean. The staff was very nice. The neighborhood looked just ok but it was dark and i honestly did not really investigate. I would use this hotel for short layovers. For longer ones i recomend miraflores area. I made the mistake of thinking Hotels.com charged my CC for the stay and was confused when asked for my card at checkin. Turns out Hotels.com did NOT charge my card. I wish that was made more clear on the web site.

Convenient and close to airport
this hotel was only about a 15 minute drive from the airport. Very affordable.Internet access was a bit spotty. Taxi shuttle service from the airport was nice! Our driver Alberto was excellent and spoke great English!

El personal amable. Durante 2 de las noches soportamos una fiesta bastante bulliciosa en un sitio contiguo al hotel hasta altas horas de la madrigada y el ruido penetraba la habitación de tal manera, que no podíamos escucharnos a nosotros mismos.

Le pedimos disculpas por la fiesta de un vecino, algo que es inusual, pero que escapaba a nuestro control, a pesar que llamamos a la policía y la autoridad municipal por los ruidos molestos, quienes manifestaron que les aplicarían una multa.

Buen hotel para una noche
Buen hotel, es una casona convertida, muy buena limpieza en la habitación, baños normales. Es cerca al aeropuerto, razón por lo cual lo escogimos, debíamos pasar una noche en Lima por vuelos. Cerca al aeropuerto, ofrecen servicio de recogida y llevada al aeropuerto a una tarifa razonable, sin ser la más barata. El hotel cumple con el objetivo de ser de paso, el vuelo era temprano en la mañana dan un desayuno en bolsa para comerlo en el aeropuerto. (Yogourt, galletas y jugo).

Sobre el desayuno nosotros ofrecemos desayuno buffet con variados panes dulces y salados, jugos, frutas de estación, huevos revueltos, quesos, jamón, yogurts, leche, café, etc, el cual es servido en nuestra cafetería. A los clientes cuyos vuelos salen antes de la apertura de la cafetería se le proporciona un desayuno básico para llevar. Esperamos nos visite nuevamente en un futuro cercano.

Safe and convenient.
My friend and I were looking for a last minute place to stay overnight in Lima, our main requirements being something in a non-scary area with reliable transport to and from the airport. This place fit the bill perfectly - no more than 30 minutes after confirming my reservation through expedia I received an email direct from the hotel asking if we required airport transfers. Their driver was waiting for us on arrival and the transfer cost was reasonable at US$14 - paid in cash to reception on arrival. The staff were very friendly and the woman at reception spoke excellent english. The room itself was dated but comfortable. Had some trouble with the shower until realising the hot and cold taps were the wrong way around. Would recommend to anyone looking for a safe and comfortable overnight stop in Lima.

great place to stay and very safe, best service personel from front desk to room service,etc,etc. only problem are curtains in the room are not dark enough, and did wake me up at sunrise. and the shower head need to been cleaned.

Good room. Comfy bed. Great staff.
Great location of , close to shops, airport and staff are great and speak English well. Only penalty was breakfast is not worth wasting your time or money on and other guests can be inconsiderate and noisy.

Kleines Hotel in ruhiger Seitenstraße
Obwohl mir bei der Buchung ein Fehler passierte, ich buchte ab. 18.1, kam um 1.30 nachts an und hatte übersehen, daß der check in im Hotel ab 10.00 Uhr ist, wurde dies sofort gelöst. Ich besuchte Freunde in Lima und lernte dadurch die Stadt etwas kennen, wie sie der normale Tourist nicht sieht und natürlich auch die Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Für einige Tage ohne zu hohe Ansprüche ok
Hatte eine kostengünstige unterkunft nicht allzuweit vom Flughafen gesucht. per Kleinbus kommt man für ca. 50 ct - 1 Euro überall gut hin.

Very Friendly and helpful
We found this hotel last minute and it turned out to be Great. They were very friendly and helpful and had a driver that will take you where you need to go for much less than a taxi. Would highly recommend and we would definitely stay there again if we are in that city. Thanks Fiorella, Brenda, Alberto and Pepe.

Nice hotel, near to the airport
Stayed here because I had a stopover in Lima and it was absolutely perfect for that. The hotel sent me an email asking if I required a shuttle (which I did) and the driver was polite, friendly and helpful. All the staff I came across spoke very good English. As I was leaving early for my connecting flight the lady on reception gave me a takeaway breakfast which was very thoughtful of her. The rooms are in need of an update but they are clean and the shower works well. All in all a very positive experience and I would definitely choose to stay with them again.

Flughafennaehe und gutes Preis- Leistungsverhaelt.
Abholung mit dem Transferservice funktionierte vom Flughafen zum Hotel, aber ich musste 10min warten bis meine Fahrerin auftauchte. Diese und alle im Hotel/Suite waren aber sehr nett. Zu den 80$ fuer 2 Naechte kam allerdings 10% Servicegebuehr dazu. Hotel war sehr sauber, aber sehr einfach gehalten, sind eigenltich kleine Appartments. Vom Hotel zum Flughafen nahm ich dann Abholsservice um 25 SOL was auch puenktlich kam. Hatte einen Tag fuer die Stadtbesichtigung und nahm Mirabus (50min reichen weil Lautsprecher eher leise) und dann eine pers. Stadtfuehrung durch Tourguide. Lima wirkte sicher auf mich, aber in der Umgebung vom Hotel wuerde ich Nachts keine grossen Wanderungen unternehmen ;-) Im Zentrum wirkte es sicher, aber wach sein hilft immer :-)

NICE STAFF - CONVENIENT TO AIRPORT
It is not near Miraflores and some of the nicer shopping areas, but it is relatively conventient to the airport. The staff is great. It is not plush, but it is nice. You can walk to a few restaurantsThere is a children's park across the street. I stayed there on 4 different occasions.

Nice place
I onlu stayed over night before going to Cusco, but the room was cute and clean. The bed was very hard and there was no heat, but they provide nice warm blankets.

Perigosa localização , assaltos nos arredores
Perigoso local , inclusive fui abordado por 3 deliquentes na praça em frente ao Hotel e fui assaltado a mão armada . Felizmente so perdi meu Tablet e consegui me desvensilhar ods deliquentes e minha esposa correu para dentro do Hotel , não aconselho mesmo a estadia .

O incidente que você mencionou aconteceu à meia-noite quando foi andando e circunstancialmente infratores que foram ver a oportunidade para baixo o táxi e assaltaram a remoção de seu tablet. Felizmente, a polícia recuperou alguns minutos o seu tablet e ele retornou.
