Was given a room with no heat. We notified the staff but since they were booked up they could not help. I got no refund. The second day they still didn't have a room till 9pm and we didn't feel like moving since we were leaving and it was warm that day. I feel they should have at least given us something for the first night as compensation. If you dont mind a little dirt or inconvenience then this is ok.

Room was in poor condition. Sliding door on the outside would not lock, two lamps did not work, bathroom exhaust vent fan screamed like bearings were failing, and the water was cold for shower in the morning. Continental breakfast was very sparse.

When we got there, it was closed for renovations. No emails or notifications at all that it was shut down.

It was ok
We arrived and the lobby was clean but smelled strongly of cleaning supplies. Easy checkin the lady at the desk was nice. Carpets need updated throughout halls. Room was clean mattress was hard. Beautiful location, we walked straight out to the water!

Nice location right on the shore of Lake Erie. Great place to watch a sunset. Right next to a restaurant with very tasty fish dinners.

The hotel was small but was one of the highlights of the trip. It was right on the lake you could sit out at the shore and I loved it.They are pet friendly as well

The hotel smelt of old wet carpet, the bed comforter was more like a light throw blanket and was not warm at all. There was not much room to move around the room at all. For the price, I was very disappointed. The front desk check in was awesome!!!

We were very disappointed. I had hurt my knee two days before we got there . Our room was on the second floor after much discussion I accepted the increase in charge and got a first floor handy cap room. No plastic drink cups . Very poor breakfast. No room service. Used same towels two days. Will never stay there again. I wrote down the hotels near by. And when we go again we will handle it direct

Our visit.
I chose this hotel because I wanted to swim in the pool. The pool was advertised to be open at 7am but never opened the whole time we were there. There were spider webs on the ceiling and walls. Aside from yogurt that had quite a bit of sugar in it, the breakfast was all carbs. There should have been some protein like greek yogurt, bacon, eggs...or protein bars or something.

Had no hat water and told the staff about it and they did nothing about it even after checking and confirming the was none. They didn't even offer to reduce the price for having to shower in cold water. I'll never go back and I'll tell others not to go there.

Hello, While you were out on Saturday the manager and maintenance guy went up to the room and let the hot water run for a couple of minutes and it was there it was very hot.

There wasn’t anything else available in the area so we stayed here and made the mistake of not checking rooms first. The Inn is run down, smelly and dirty. Breakfast just basic bagels , waffles and cereal. We ended up checking our early.

This property was abvertised on expedia at 79 a night. Wound up paying 222 for a night. Place stinks like mold. Have pictiresnof mold. Wires hanging out of ceiling. Tv never worked correctly. Breakfast was a joke. Waffles and coffee. Checked out a day early and was toldmi wouldnstill be charged for thr nightbi did not stay.

Worst place on Earth!
Filthiest Hotel I have ever visited!! Slept on lounge chairs outside. Left in middle of the night. The smell of cat urine was horrendous! My friend with asthma and an autoimmune disorder couldn’t breath because the stench was so strong. Asked to change rooms but they said no. Horrible staff, asked to speak to a supervisor or manager, they told me they probably wouldn’t call me. Still waiting for a response back. These people are nothing about customer service, they do not even know what that means!

You should have left your actual name on here so the response could be a better one. We didnt see anyone sleeping on lounge chairs. Front Desk is more than willing to help anyone with any kind of problem at anytime day or night

We stayed here because it had breakfast and we were there for a fishing trip. Breakfast wasn't set up until 7am. We needed to leave by 6:30. It isn't a benefit unless you can enjoy it. Not everyone sleeps in until 7:00 or later. Do better.

Hello, You checked in at 8:50am on Saturday 8/12/23..and stayed all day and decided it was time to leave at 12:12am Sunday 8/13/23. One problem for sure is that you were charged a pet fee and that made you mad, so you started to try and find things wrong with the room, when the day manager was in that room personally to make sure things were in order and make sure the tv and a/c was working the manager checked for a clean room also and it was.

I loved everything about staying here!!!! The staff was wonderful, really went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Our bathtub was dripping, and they fixed it that night. The swimming pool overlooking the water was amazing. Will be staying here everytime I'm in Port Clinton

It was not very clean. The twin beds mattress had urine stains and so did the mattress covers. The kitchen sink was dirty including the drain area. The air conditioner in the main bedroom was broken

Room smelled musty. Shower curtain was black with mold. Lamps didn't even have shades on them. Did not even have plastic cups in room. No complimentary water. I guess you don't get much for $220 a night.

We stayed 2 nights, it was about average. The bed is hard and there are no lights outside when you walk out at night it’s pitch black so it felt a little unsafe but other than that it was fine for what we needed.

Highly Disappointing
When checking in they charged us for someone else's room, a single bed and we booked for a family. After being walked to our room and us entering and realizing it was incorrect we walked back to the front desk to have it fixed. While the front desk person was trying to fix it another worker, for the front desk, came in from outside to assist someone waiting in line behind us. We were then charged for our room on top of being charged, a higher price, for the incorrect room. They told us that they refunded the first room charge and the room we ended up with still wasn't correct and not enough sleeping accommodations foe our family of five. There was a huge pile of dirty laundry, comforters and bedding from the rooms, in the middle of the walkway blocking off a portion of the hall. The cleanliness throughout the hotel and our room was horrible. Given the hotel is a lot older it shows that it is not being kept up with or cleaned properly. We didn't have time to book elsewhere otherwise we would have not stayed at all. Needless to say we will never be back.

The room was pretty clean. The bathrooms haven’t been updated in years. There was permanent stains on the mirrors and the floors. The room we were given was one of the smallest hotel rooms I’ve ever seen. There was about 18 inches of space to get around the bed and the walls. There was empty boxes and trash lining halls near the check in desk. The price seemed very high for what we got.

Pros: the property is right on the water (no beach access) with lounge seats that have a great view. The pool area looked nice too, but I didnt go in. The location is close to the "downtown" area, so very convenient for restaurants etc. Cons: Dirty. When I got into bed at 9pm, I pulled the covers back and an orange slice fell out of the sheet. I dont eat oranges. I called asking for a new room, they didnt have any but offered to send the cleaing crew up. I have 2 dogs who would have freaked out and woken the whole floor, so I slept in the second queen bed. The bathroom was also dirty with dark hair and sticky spots on the floor. I am blonde. The common areas are also dirty, littered with dead bugs around the floor. Bring you own pillows!! There are three throw-pillow shaped pillows on the bed that are so over packed they are about 10 inches thick, my neck was so sore in the morning. The fuzzy blanket on the bed, not the comforter, but the one you actually use to keep warm, is short sheeted. It covers 3/4 of you.

It is true we didnt have any rooms that evening. We offered to come take care of the issues. You didnt say anything about the bathroom being dirty, we would have taken care of that also. There are all new blankets for the beds.

Room did not have bath towels and when i called to get them was hung up on. Found a choker collar from prior person in bed. Dog down hall barking for hours. Beautiful setting on water. Price was reasonable.
