This is our third return to Holiday in Port Clinton, The breakfast team was cheery and helpful. We stayed two days so nice to know the breakfast menu changes too. The desk staff always has a smile and very sweet too!

Celebrateing New Years At Gideon Winery .
Booked a nite to stay after celebrating New Years at Gideon Winery just half mile down the road. There be was very comfortable.

Staff was wonderful! Room was not updated. Ceilings and walls felt like a concrete room. Mold under sink top. Curtain didn’t cover window. Light shown through the bottom of window at night. Not worth the cost with it being off season!

Not the best but not the worst
We have started at Holiday inn express in several cities throughout the US. This was the first time I have ever been disappointed. Overall the hotel is nice. The staff is super friendly and helpful. My room however, was not the cleanest. The amount off mold in the bathroom was totally unacceptable. The bathroom floor obviously hadn’t been mopped properly in quite some time. Hearing general conversation amongst the staff, apparently they are short staffed. Breakfast was ok but this particular hotel had no pork free meat options available. This was also a first for us.Will this deter me from staying at Holiday Inn Express again? Probably not. We have always enjoyed our stays before.

The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was good. The property needs some updating. There’s a lot of wear and tear on the facility. It’s not as new as the pictures make it look. The television in the room didn’t work very well. But the hot tub and pool were nice.

The property needed upgrading. The treadmill in the gym did not work. The bathroom doors in the pool area would not close. The breakfast was the same everyday, and did not have anything I liked. I had to go to the local store and buy my own cereal to eat.

Arrived to find the floor with standing water. The wonderful desk clerk brought down towels and said to check with the desk in the morning to be moved to another room since none were available at that time. We were moved at 8am to another room. The hotel staff is amazing.

Staff was very nice and pleasant. The hotel itself was sub standard for a Holiday Inn. The outside of the facility was very nice but the rooms were not for the price paid. Musty smell in hallway and room. Some mold on ceiling tiles in bathroom, etc. Again, staff was great. Hotel itself not worth the money.

Most everything was what I expect from Holiday Inn Express, however, in this case the bathroom should have been a little cleaner and there was a large dark carpet stain in the middle of the room.
