awesome owner and breakfast
the owner treated me and my wife very warmly and we had nice conversations. breakfast was awesome and accessibility to the beach was convenient. will come and stay at this nice and cozy place again.

I loved that the floors were wood floors and not carpet as there is the tendency to smell when its carpet. The staff were very nice, friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed my stay very much and will return.

We were so impressed by the hotel. The room was very clean and the location was amazing. The beach is a less than 5 minute walk. We loved staying here and hope to come back soon.

The location was great - convenient to downtown SB. The exterior was a bit tired but the rooms were updated and very clean, comfortable. Good "bang for the buck".

Got a good deal on a room while visiting SB. The room looked nice, was fine for one night. Pros- plenty of parking, bed was fine, shower pressure was great, easy walking distance to the beach. Was quiet at night except when others nearby opened and closed their front door. Cons- floor had a slipperiness to it, like there was a film from the cleaning solution. Air unit has a very bright light and was very bright at night. At 9am very loud construction started and we were up watching tv while getting ready and it was so loud we couldn’t hear our tv. Looked like they were doing a lot of renovations so not sure if this issue will be resolved anytime soon. Also no soap in the shower containers and when we went to the office to get some, all they had were bars of soap. For a good deal, I’d stay again for one night. Would consider elsewhere for longer stays.

Really nice rooms with everything that you need for a getaway from your daily routine. Really close to the beach and not far at all from Santa Barbara pier

No frills but very nice property and staff, my room was very clean, they are currently updating other units, there was construction while I was there and it was not a nuisance. I would stay again.

Enjoyed my quick one day getaway, room was decorated cute and very clean. The only thing was that I ended up next to a room that after 8pm, I began to hear people come in and out of the room, along with hearing packing tape being used. Despite that hiccup I would definitely stay again.

It's a nice hotel close enough to the beach that I could see the water from my room. The only thing that I wasn't thrilled with was that the wifi stopped working.

We had a delightful stay at the hotel! The atmosphere was inviting and felt more like staying at a friend's place than a hotel. The convenient location, just a short walk to the beach, made our experience even better. Highly recommended!

Convenient for my needs an very short walk to beach. Staff was very nice and helpful. Room was spotless and bed was comfortable. Room was small, but priced accordingly. There was onsite as well as street parking. I would definitely stay again when in the area.

Great hotel, flash back in time! Room was very comfortable, clean and well appointed. Less than one block to the beach, minutes away from excellent dining.

Have stayed at this property many times and it saddens me to give it a negative review, but this is my first time staying in a first floor unit and the clomping, furniture moving, air mattress inflation, and dropping objects of the people upstairs from me is making this stay totally unacceptable. Requested a different room from management as the hotel is clearly quite empty and was told that would not be possible. It’s a shame as the hotel has other charms and great staff but I can no longer recommend this place after this stay.

Small hotel that just changed hands and is being remodeled. Good location 2 blocks from the beach. Free parking. Close to Santa Barbara’s good restaurants. Very nice and helpful front desk staff.
