We weren't really there very long, but our room was great, nice and big; beds were comfy; bathroom nice and updated; little thing that we loved, the bath products were very nice, sometimes you stay at a place and the soap, shampoo, etc is pretty cheap, these ones were not. Loved the decor, very cool looking. On-site restaurant was very good too, we wished it wasn't raining, I bet the view is amazing. Will definitely stay there again next time we are in the area.

Beautiful property! Friendly and helpful staff. Room was updated, spacious, and clean. Plenty of towels for our family of four. We were able to find a parking spot close to our room, however valet parking is complimentary. We stayed at this property for a wedding and it was beautiful. All the food we enjoyed during our visit was good. Again the staff was friendly and very helpful! Would definitely stay there again. My only regret was that we were not able to stay longer and use the spa facilities. Keep up the great work!!

It is always a great experience here. This time around they had an issue with a pool but I am sure that is something that is taken care of, great like always.

I stayed in this hotel for the first time on my Birthday! It was unforgettable time. A room is cute and very cleans, amazing views from the window peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and staff was amazing. Spa is wonderful and awesome massage. I will return again.

The place itself is nice and peaceful. Had some issues while there though. Checked in and only one key worked. It was our anniversary so I paid 30 dollars for chocolate covered strawberries to be in the room which they never put in there. I waited until the last day to see if they were coming later but they never did and I had to go to the front desk and ask them to take it off the bill. That was very disappointing. Some of the staff were awesome but others weren’t so great. I thought it was a quiet place for the most part but there were kids running up and down the halls and making a bunch of noise. The trails were nice but we were concerned with the poison oak. I would maybe consider staying here again. Maybe we just had bad luck.

The property is beautiful and views are same. Staff are very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend. Only one problem is parking can be a premium.

What a lovely place to stay. Quiet and clean. In the woods made me feel like I was back at summer camp! The only ding was a very loud heating system. But other than that, it was a great place to stay.

Location of the property is beautiful. Loved the trails behind it. The room was a bit small and underwhelming for the price. The amenities looked wonderful but didn’t get a chance to use them. The bed was really comfortable. Lighting in the bathroom is too dim for makeup. The patio was nice but not private at all.

Rude front desk. Thanksgiving buffet was not good at all and way expensive. I was over charged on resort fee and dinner. Currently disputing those charges. I will say pool and hot tub was nice. I really enjoyed the scenery as well. Bar keepers were very friendly as well.

My mother and I spent two days and wish it was longer. The staff Enrich (I may have misspelled his name) was so professional kind. Everything was very clean and we love the design of our room. We will be back!

Awesome check in and later Chris on the front desk was extremely accommodating for sure. Restaurant was ok. Loud from sound acoustics. Servers were extremely warm and welcoming, food was good but not outstanding and service was initially very slow; 10 minutes before a server came over.

Weekend Getaway
Based on recommendations from family members, we headed down to Chaminade for a weekend getaway. It was fantastic. Checking in was a breeze and the staff was so welcoming. We decided to have a late lunch/early dinner and got a nice table out on the patio. It was so beautiful. The view is just amazing and again, the staff was delightful. Our room was fine. It seemed a little on the small side, but it was fine for just the two of us. We spent the next morning in Capitola walking around town and then decided it was time for the pool. We were blessed with fantastic weather and the pool was relaxing. We will definitely be back.

Great getaway in a beautiful property. Love coming here Dining options are limited to one restaurant and we went during restaurant week so had very limited menu for our stay - plus some challenges with getting seating without reservations. They also had a controlled fire nearby that made the air smoky while we were there for one of the days

Very noisy with lots of kids running unsupervised in hotel hallways. Fight in restaurant. Police showed. Had to switch rooms 4 times due to multiple issues. Last time I ever stay here. Air conditioner does not work. This is not a resort. Check in was a nightmare. No parking.

Looks great, but not so great.
Glorious views! Very nice area! Bar and restaurant was top! Awesome bartenders! Best fish and chips! Junior sweet is a joke for the price! Over priced! Zero privacy in patio area overlooking the woods. The bathroom I could barely fit in. Sink blocks one side of shower door. To turn on water and adjust water temperature. Don’t get me started on the AC. Seemed to be working but never cooled down past 75.The old style of wrist tags like you are in a night club? Outdated! I also book a facial, massage at the spa treatment facility. AC wasn’t working in there either. 90 degrees. Canceled that real quick! It is a nice location. But for the price? Not worth it.

The front desk lady was so all over the place . She didn’t not make us feel like she had our back and knew what she was doing. Worst check in and check out experience. The upstairs hotel room was so loud and kept us up all night. We could hear every foot step and was up all night. When I told the front desk they did not care. For almost $500/night I don’t want to hear the upstairs guests like a run down apartment.

Overall wonderful experience
We had a wonderful time. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Grounds were beautiful. The food at the View restaurant is delicious. It was odd and unfortunate that the one night that there was no live music at the restaurant was Saturday night. Seems like an unusual night to not have live music. Also, with a 4pm check in, many activities/classes were done for the day. Then if you have to check out by 11am next day, it would be inconvenient to try and use the pool or make use of other amenities with all of your bags packed. It would be nice if they advertised that you could arrive early and get more out of your stay.
