Closed for refurbishment.
As of September 1, the hotel is closed for refurbishment so I couldn't stay here. The staff member there was very friendly though and recommended other places for us to stay.

Found the hotel closed
Made the reservation with hotels.com when got there found that the hotel was closed for renovations. Hotels.com refused to compensate.

Worst motel I've ever seen ..
This motel needs to either be completely refurbished, or cut your losses and close the doors .. I've seen homeless shelters in better shape ..

Good if all you need is a bed & shower
Room was spacious & clean. Property exterior appears poorly maintained-poor lighting,almost drove past it at night. pavement could use a redo as it is in poor condition. Wi-Fi is spotty. Rarely drink coffee but wanted some before a long drive & they "ran out" that day. Ice machine was not working & still wasn't fixed when we returned 3 days later.No remote for TV in room. Good for a basic bed & shower but if you need some of the other stuff mentioned,look elsewhere. Front desk people were nice enough

Was told housekeeping staff didn't come in, room not cleaned, no towels. Nobody staying here, strange

Stay Away
"You get what you pay for" does not apply to this hotel. You could not pay me to stay here again! The entire hotel is filthy, the external doors do not lock meaning no security, he entire place smells like cigarette smoke, and everything is under construction. The rooms are absolutely filthy. The bathroom was obviously not cleaned because there was urine and pubic hairs on the toilet and hair in the shower. There was no water pressure and no hot water, which the attendant said was "normal" and would not be fixed. Additionally there is no wifi at this hotel deslite what it offers on its website. I was completely disgusted and did not complete my stay at this hotel.

the two girls upfront at the desk we're awesome. they helped me with all my questions and we're honest about the construction and the internet being down.

Need to finish work before renting rooms
Hotel was under construction, both rooms and hallways. Parking lot was not plowed. Staff was friendly and able. Outside sign on main road was not turned on, probably due to the state of on-going construction.

If you need internet connectivity you can't stay
Internet is absolutely unreliable and unacceptable if you want to do things as complicated as read your email or log on to the Internet. The old hotel has seen better days but the rooms are huge by motel 6 standards and nicely appointed.

budget stay
basic motel in an expensive area otherwise, but good enough for the business trip (deferentially budget option)

I was immediately reminded of being in a construction site. The carpets were filthy, there was construction materials in various places in the main hallway. Upon entering the room, the bathroom sink was detached from the wall, there was standing water in the sink from a clogged drain, there was no furniture in the room save for 2 beds and a cabinet that the TV was on and again the carpet was dirty. I got moved to another room and the bathroom was much cleaner but the chair was very loose so I did not sit on it for fear of breaking it, there was no lampshade and again, the carpets needed a good cleaning.

Cheap hotel
The staff was friendly and helpful. HOWEVER, the hotel was old and rundown. Carpet was nasty (but it was being replaced with wood laminate floors). Showers had moldy tiles.

Was not good. Was assigned a room initially that was occupied. Exterior and interior were not clean. Cockroaches were present at the entry we used. Was quiet. Quiet probably due to location/Los Alamos. Not alot of stuff goes on that is is not within the required limits. Facility had no directory of where to go/places to eat/visit. if they did there were not highly visible. Would never stay there again

I'm surprised that they didn't rate by the hour
A non-smoking room smoked. I stayed two nights no clean sheets on the second night or clean towels. Air conditioner sounder like an electric turbine when it came on. Old and cheep

Not much better than sleeping on the ground.
Room 116 was dirty and damaged. Looked like a "party" room. Beds have wooden boards that stick out to reinforce the base of the beds. Holes in both carpet and wall. .Phone is missing outside piece of plastic. Light bulbs burnt out in bathroom. Shower has filth smeared into the tiles. Very little water pressure in bathroom sink. No hot water for sink or shower. Only ice machine found on property was out of order.

Horrible!!!
First of all, our reservations wasn't in the system. Only one person working trying to take care of everything. Our room had no towels and no hot water. Checked out immediately and had to wait 2 hours for manager to show up for our refund.

Dissapointing
The stay was a four night stay, and within those 3 nights, I was in three different rooms. Reasons being that one of the days upon returning to my room, the room had not been cleaned. Another night the TV was out of order. Other than that, rooms were comfortable.

Old, rundown, dark, staff were not very helpful, hall smelled like cigarettes, soda machine was not refrigerated so ended up with warm Coke, mattress was horrible, pillows stunk. Would not recommend.
