The room was very spacious; a separate seating area from the sleeping area. You could let someone sleep while you had your coffee & watched the news. The room had a small balcony with a lovely view of the Sangre de Cristo mountains.

It was a nice stay not too busy but staff could have been nicer they wr young adults with little people skills. Young man at the coffee place was rude. Never even said Good morning or Thank you after my purchase.

The staff was very cordial. We did have to ask for extra shampoo and lotion. Only one packet was given. One packet is not enough for one person much less two. The remote was not linked to the TV. We thought it was the remote that was broken, but a different remote was brought to us and it did not work with the TV. The night was cold. Cool air was coming out of vents instead of warm air. I let them know at the front desk upon us leaving. They kindly apologized and said we should have let them know and they would have gotten it fixed. It was late so we just doubled up on the blankets.

The beds were on on a spring frame no box under the mattress. Pillows wete flat as a rock. Would've have been better sleeping in the floor. Hotel rooms seem nice but the bed and pillows are unsleepable. Did not leave rested.

There was a bug right on top of the pillow to greet us. Hair in the sink, shower and toilet. Turned around, checked out and left.

hotel was fine, it is attached to a casino, even though the casino and hotel are 100% no smoking, the 1st floor of the hotel has a heavy smell of smoke through out, makes it hard to walk through, the locked out ac controls is another issue, as this causes the room to never get cool

A mixed bag
On the one hand, the front staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. On the other hand, outside of the rooms, the property looked like it had many maintenance needs. Most notably were security issues as the exterior unmonitored hotel entrance had two doors, both of which were unlocked (one lock appeared broken) allowing access to the rooms by non hotel guests. This was further concerning as our own hotel room door was unlocked upon arrival— primarily because an extra tug was needed for the door lock to secure. Additionally, the temperature of our room was too warm (77 degrees) and the AC unit, while set for 75 (which is still too warm for us), was unresponsive to our efforts to lower the temp. Either the hotel had locked in that temp or the buttons were not working.

I love it, it’s my favorite hotel in New Mexico, the only thing I didn't like was that there was no buffet and the restaurant only opens on weekends.

No ice in machines, very loud in hotel with heavy doors slamming all night long. One sugar packet for coffee. Terrible customer service.

Very clean rooms, hall and lobby. The staff was friendly upon check in. The only negative was the side entrance to the hotel, the lock was not operational and anyone could enter the hotel area without a key. A possible safety issue.

The hotel was understaffed; no cooks for the restaurant. The thermostat in the room was not working and therefore the room was extremely hot. Both nights we stayed, we asked for maintenance to come fix the air conditioner. But it was not addressed.

Absolute shitshow checking in. These people have no clue how to run a hotel. Went to 3 "entrances" looking for a bagge cart. Scolded by employee for using the wrong entrance another employee told me to use so that i could find a cart. 45 minutes trying to check in. Shitshow so far

We were in Room 336. It was inconvenient and disappointing to find that the ice maker on the 3rd floor was out of order. The only lights in the ‘bedroom area’ of our room were the two lamps attached to the wall above each of the queen beds. These were barely adequate for reading. Our room desperately needed either a floor lamp in the corner by the table or a lamp on the table. The lack of light in that corner rendered the table useless after dark.

The coffee pot in the room only brewed one cup then quit working. The air conditioning was not good enough for the heat wave.

Requested an early check in and was granted such. Highly disappointed the pool and hot tub were not open on a 95+ degree day! I don’t believe the pool has been open since Covid! Plan on breakfast elsewhere! The coyote cantina is horrible! $16.99 for a breakfast buffet of steamed scrambled eggs like hard sponge and the most horrible biscuits and gravy! No coffee or beverage with breakfast one must get from casino floor! Rooms have a kuregh coffee that take pods (we bring our own coffee and supplies when traveling) bed comfy shower glorious gambling on my birthday priceless!

Thank you for your review. The pool has been opened since Covid. Unfortunately, we had to close the pool for 48 hrs due to glass removal.

The air-conditioning was broken in the first room. The air-conditioning worked in the second room. It was a nice size, clean room. The pool was refreshing. The refrigerator and ice machine came in handy.
