This is an ice property and I have stayed in this neighborhood before so I knew the issues with the streets being unsavory at times. Close to the beach Room was a decent size. Breakfast was ok but not great. You have to pick from a few choice and none were great for me. I like to pick my own breakfast from the buffet and this way I see in advance what I am getting.

Nice property and part of a group of properties with Kali in the name. This place has a very nice second floor are for relaxing but not one relaxing chair. The poolmwas very clean but almost in the lobby but an alternative on the third floor. I had requested and extra couple of hours to keep my bag before leaving for a flight and they requested 100,000$ pesó for the time. This I find greedy when the rate for a night is 300,000. The area is ok but not terrific. Just about two blocks from the action but unsavoury when it get dark. The room was a food size but I was lacking wifi in the room and had to use my cell phone data or leave the room to use the hotel WiFi. I had to speak to the manager and she didn't speak any English and someone had to interpret making for added confusion. Their other hotel was closer to the beach which I liked better and was way less money too. The breakfast is set choices and therefore limited variety.. Coffee was like pulling teeth almost like they didn't want you to have more than one cup. The women serving were nice and tried to accommodate me Shower was really big and had a Multi head sprayers

This is a very charming colonial style hotel. My recommendation to m was large and pretty. I particularly want to recommend the staff who are extremely kind and helpful

This location was not available due to an issue with their pool however they were gracious enough to send us to their sister location casa de Leda which was a beautiful property in a perfect location was clean, very well laid out, breakfast was great staff was great, I would definitely return

Nice place in the old town
First I thought the room on the ground floor was dark, but later appreciated it when I realized it kept heat - and street noise - out. Good location just a block from the Malecon - and opposite a restaurant that people keep saying is the best in Santa Marta

The hotel was beautiful and in a great location. We were close to the beach and to the central plazas and shopping. I would highly recommend the hotel. Our only problems were that the wifi was weak and although the staff were very friendly and wanted to be helpful (one spoke excellent English), they weren't able to effectively direct us to an ATM or restaurants that met our needs. We also had an issue with Expedia charging us twice for the rooms (not the hotels fault), but the hotel promised to send an email to us confirming that we only used the one set of rooms, so we could use that to get a refund from Expedia, but we never received that email.

Loved the staff — super friendly and welcoming. This hotel had THE best breakfast and is walking distance to fancy restaurants and the parque de Los Enamorados, where you can find more affordable meal options (though still in the tourist area). Its central location means it could be a little loud at night and early in the morning. Bring earplugs and you’ll be fine.

The hotel is a bit of a Gem. Its setup like an old Spanish house with a court yard all the rooms face. Breakfast is included and its a block away from Parque de los Novios. Also a block away from the boardwalk and marina. If I visit Santa Marta again I will try and stay here.

Lovely hotel. Great spot. Charming and helpful staff. We had a suite with a roof top plunge pool overlooking the sea. Great pool in the hotel as well.

Great location and beautiful grounds
Had a private pool suite There are 2, both are pictures but.lpok very different. The pool is above.the room with a private entrance. The view behind the hotel.is not.the nicest but you do get an ocean view. It is more of a wading pool (hot.tub size) but well worth a way to beat the hwat, relax, have a nice.glass.of wine at night with a view. Hotel is in a safe area 1 block away from parque de the novios which qas very convenient. Breakfast was great and staff was very friendly and accomodating.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's a bit noisy at night with music from the square, so bring earplugs.

Servicio de la persona de recepción muy malo, poco empatico, altanero, no es colaborador, a todo hay un NO o NO HAY por respuesta, no se esmeró por ayudar en lo más mínimo, la verdad puede ser muy bonito el Hotel pero con ese servicio sale uno corriendo, tengo claro que no volveré jamás , de hecho estuvimos a punto con otros amigos de otra habitación de cancelar e irnos a otro hotel por la falta de respeto hacia el cliente.

This was place was top notch. The staff was super friendly and it was really a visually appealing hotel and by far the best bed I’ve slept in in Colombia and there have been many. Did I mention the breakfast was incredible. A complete flavor-gasm! Great location and if you want ocean view you’ll have to get a suite.

Beautiful little hotel. Really good location near la Plaza de los Novios where you can find good bars and restaurants and really close to the Marina where you can go to boating excursions or just walk by the beach. All employees were great.

Not what expected
1. Private pool more like jacuzzi, as we don't have information about water quantity we not enter. Any way is not pleasant looks, nothing romantic. 2. Breakfast is from 8am to 10 am. But really we come 8am but whey serve us 8 30 exactly time when we book taxi to airport. So not good service at all. So do not waist moneys for suit room, we believe is overpriced also Breakfast service very bad.

Un gran hallazgo en Santa Marta.
La atención excelente, el hotel es muy lindo y cómodo. Nos encantó la suite. Lo único que le cambiaría sería que tuviera un poquito más de luz (que se pudieran abrir un par de ventanas que no se pueden abrir), pero la experiencia fue muy buena en general. Sin duda, volveremos.

Excellent Santa Marta getaway
Wonderful location. It's two blocks from the Parque de los Novios with its restaurants, street musicians, and hundreds of people out to enjoy the evenings. Also two blocks from the waterfront with bars and a gorgeous sunsets. Across the street is Guasimo, perhaps the best fine dining restaurant in the city. Down the block is also Bananas "Disco" (in fact a brothel), but its noise does not affect the hotel. Only disappointment--the hotel appears to have a rooftop lounging area, but it isn't accessible to guests staying in the normal rooms

Very good, Great Location
Great central location. Interestingly furnished and decorated rooms. All very clean. My room had a four poster bed. Pleasant and helpful staff. The one annoyance in my case was that there was a table for two used by other guests for breakfast and staff for their lunches right up against the main window into the courtyard of my ground floor room. So I could not open the shutters while people were there without being face to face with them. I should have just done so and scared them off! Other room will not have that problem. Seemed unique to mine. If given that room, suggest opening shutters in advance to deter diners (or maybe you don't care).

The breakfast was amazing and the staff were really friendly. I paid a lot of money for the suite though and couldn’t sleep for two nights straight because building next to us had dogs barking the entire night. A real shame because otherwise would’ve been very nice. Welcome to Colombia

Rapport qualité prix moyen, ma chambre était bruyante qui donner d'un côté sur un puits de lumière avec tout les moteur des Clims (bruyante) de l'autre sur le patio au rdv où se trouve les cuisines pour le petit déjeuner réveillé 6h00... Si vous cherchez le calme passer votre chemin. Point positif la proximité de la place et des rues où se concentre les animations et restaurant en soirée.

Casa de isabella is a Boutique Concept Hotel whose remodeling and construction of the building kept the colonial style and the value of the nature of the place. Each room was delicately designed and decorated, amenities and quality linens were included, the gardens are kept the same as the house was in its colonial years, the staff is warm and friendly, so we can not be a cheap hotel but we make an effort to keep our rates among the lowest in the area.

One of the best stays in Santa Marta.
This is one of my favorite hotels in Santa Marta; just charming. We had the suite, which is really a nice regular room, but it has its own rooftop swimming pool, patio and balcony. I have stayed here before. It is a great value. Friendly staff. Not the cheapest in town, but a bargain for how pleasant the hotel is.

The hotel was quite and clean, and in a great location. The staff at the front desk spoke English and were very helpful. We stayed here after doing the lost city trek, and it was a great place to relax by the pool and cool off.

Very kind staff, helpful, close to town centre...walking distance. Delicious breakfasts. Brothel across the street was a bit disconcerting, however never had any hassles. Would definitely recommend.
