Rustic elegance that transports you back to colonial times. For me, it was a journey to the past, when I used to visit my grandparents at “La finca”. Large rooms and spacious bathrooms. Bath amenities were extraordinary, made with local honey. Smooth and fragrant. Food was excellent, but service was outstanding. Helpful and always ready to assist you in any way. We used it as a base to visit the many archaeological sites and Celestún, all within an hour drive.

Hacienda Santa Rosa will forever live in my memory as one of the most magical places I've stayed. Despite being managed by a hotel chain, it hasn't lost its patina and authenticity. It is more beautiful in person than in the pictures. I loved our tranquil room with sky-high ceilings, lovely tile work, and a view of a garden outside our window. Because there are only a few guest rooms, the staff spoiled us with attention and kindness--I've never been treated so well before. We were delighted with the vegan dinner and breakfast they made especially for our anniversary. We loved the sound of the birds on the property and walking down Santa Rosa's tiny main street to admire the colorful buildings and say hello to the neighbors. The main swimming pool (there are two!) is fantastic. Everything about this stay was perfect--except having to say goodbye. I will dream of this place forever.

This property is in a remote area about 1 hour from Merida and 1.5 hours from Campeche. The property is beautifully maintained and has been renovated so it retains its rural and historic charm. The service and food are fantastic. Its a wonderful option if you enjoy the peace and quiet of the Mexican countryside.

Peaceful and relaxing
Very peaceful and relaxing, the staff was happy to accommodate to our desires and make our stay enjoyable, like placing a table in the gardens or dinning options not in the menu. At the end of your stay you don't want to leave.

Schönes Hacienda - Hotel in der Nähe von Becal
Sehr schöne Hacienda, direkt beim gleichnamigen Ort. Wir waren für eine Nacht dort auf dem Weg nach Becal & Campeche. Wunderschöner Pool, gutes Essen, guter Service.

Excelente atención de Wiliam Huh y su equipo de compañeros. Todos llenos de atenciones personalizadas en cada momento. Se nota el ambiente seguro e higiénico de todas las medidas de seguridad por la enfermedad. Muchos espacios al aire libre para disfrutar. Muy buena cocina regional, mención especial al panadero que están deliciosos los panes. Agradable escapada en pareja para estar 1-2 días. Dificultadas con el wifi y mala señal de Telcel al celular, por lo que sería complicado si dependes de estar bien comunicado 24hrs. Hubo ligeras diferencias con la tarifa de la app y la que me querían cobrar, pero se resolvió fácil y rápido.

En las fotos que tienen aparece un cenote, pero el más cercano está aproximadamente a una hora, la pirámide más cercana también. No se pueden usar los jacuzzi a menos que sean parte de tu habitación... la verdad me pareció un poco decepcionante lo que vi en las fotos contra lo que en realidad hay ahí directamente y puedes utilizar

We had a separate pool behind our room (beside the main pool) which we enjoyed a lot. Food was good, staff friendly.

No me gusto la distancia a la civilización No me gusto que no haya un plus por parte del hotel de llevarte por ejemplo a metida , Campeche , ( lugares cerca) y si lo pides es exageradamente caro . We had the Mayan casa which was very nice. However, the room had a bug infestation problem and every morning the floor was covered with dead bugs. We really did need the bug net over the bed. It was shocking and the hotel apologized and offered us different accommodations but hey, it's the jungle. I would add that arriving at the hotel takes you through a profoundly poor village. In fact, the hotel is surrounded by poverty even though the property is outstanding. This hotel is in a remote part of the Yucatan and a great find if you were already planning to be in the area.
