Bon rapport qualité-prix
Hôtel sympathique pas loin du centre de Santiago. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec de hauts plafonds, mais bruyantes/mal insonorisées pour celles qui donnent sur la route. Parties communes (sdb et wc) propres. Petit déjeuner buffet correct : banane, pastèque, pain, beurre, jambon, oeufs, céréales, café, lait, jus de fruits. Le personnel est accueillant et la terrasse (piscine, ping-pong...), agréable et ensoleillée.

Great pool
I loved the pool and patio area. It was fabulous. The room did not have air conditioning and wifi did not work in the dorm. The hostel was generally clean and breakfast was good.

Great stay
Stayed here twice once in double room with private bathroom and once with shared. The hostel itself is really nice with a pool and seating area outside to soak up the sun. The rooms are spacious but could do with a bit of renovation but beds were comfy. Staff are really helpful and laundry is cheap. Breakfast is really nice and plentiful and the wi-fi works really well. Kitchen has everything you need to cook a good meal. They also let me store luggage for a week as we went to Easter island. Overall a great stay.

Room was spacious and I liked the building. Breakfast was nice, too. However, there was no hot water at all. I had to take cold shower at cold nights and wash my face with cold water for all three days and nights. It was miserable.

hébergement proche du centre ville et de toutes les commodités (commerces, métro, bus ...). personnel jeune et manque un peu de professionnalisme. déco des chambre un peu vieillotte, nécessiterait un petit coup de propre. Chambre spacieuse. espaces communs très agréables, cour intérieur, piscine, cuisine bien équipée, salon de jardin, wifi, très agréable après une journée bien remplie à visiter Santiago.

Super séjour! J'y reviendrai!
Super séjour! Le parquet est un peu grinçant, mais peu de monde lors de mon séjour. Petit déjeuné à volonté et très bon! Salles d'eau communes non-mixtes et propre. A 20 minutes a pied de l'hyper centre-ville. La piscine et le patio sont super sympa.

lovely Hostel, in a peaceful area, close to the Me
Fantastic Old House, bit creaky all the time, so you can not be quiet. Lovely staff, very helpful, The only thing l would add is that it would be convenient to have a mirror in the rooms, there is a sink, but to brush your hair put on makeup even, etc etc it would be good not to have to go to the shower room/ toilet.

Wonderful breakfast, great hostel!

good option with practical location for travellers
Good budget option in Santiago, near the Metro (VERY important in Santiago) and possibly even more important: very close to the airport bus! The place is old and a bit worse for wear, but the kitchen and pool facilities are nice and is firmly backe up by super-friendly staff who are bi-lingual (some even tri/quadruple) and the reception is open around the clock. Breakfast is very satisfying with eggs, bread, fruit, cereal etc.

Good Hostel, Cool Communal Areas
Good, clean hostel with friendly staff around 24-7 at the front desk to help out with any queries you may have. Was low season when I was there so was fairly quiet, but there are some really cool communal areas, including lots of outdoor seating space around a swimming pool so I imagine that would be pretty cool in the summer. It's in the Brasil neighbourhood, where there are a fair few restaurants/bars nearby and lots of cool street art in the area. Within about 10-15 mins walk from the historical city centre and 15 mins walk from the Memory & Human Rights Museum. Kind of far from Bellavista which is where more of the trendy bars/restaurants are - there are plenty of hostels in that area if you're more interested in that.

Very nice hotel in a 1910 building with tall ceilings and interesting architecture. Can be noisy due to the older condition of the building, but rooms and facilities were in good condition. Walking distance from City center.

Fraai hostel op loopafstand van bushalte LosHeroes
Het hostel bevindt zich in een prachtig koloniaal pand met hoge rijkelijk versierde plafonds en mooie details. Vriendelijk personeel, een goed verzorgd ontbijt en ze hebben ruime gezamenlijke douchegelegenheden. Minder fijn was dat het bed wel erg kraakte.

Convenient, Clean and Cosy!
In total, I stayed four nights in April on 2 different occasions (to begin and end my trip). A fairly quiet hostel - which suited me - as I am not keen on staying at a party hostel. In fact, the hostel catered for a diverse mixture of clients - solo travellers, groups and families. The facilities include - an outdoor pool, games area, laundry; and, lots of nooks and spaces to chill on couches. Breakfast was very good - order your eggs with the ladies in the kitchen - they'll even whip up pancakes! Delicious. The rooms are huge, with comfortable beds. The shared bathroom facilities are kept very clean. Being a beautiful, older building, expect some floor creaking - so bring your ear-plugs. An Uber to/from the international airport will set you back around 13000clp - cheaper than a taxi (around 18000clp) or a Transvip trip. From the hostel it's a 20 minute stroll to Plaza de Armas where you should do the free walking tour. There are also great restaurants locally on Av. Brasil - which is a five minute walk. Reception staff are friendly, speak English (which is a bonus for me with limited Spanish) and will happily accommodate requests, provide maps and local advice. The only thing that I felt was a little over priced was the laundry. 5000CLP to use the laundry facilities - DIY.

Large common areas, a little run-down
The hostel overall wasn’t bad - the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of common areas to use as well as a kitchen. The kitchen was quite well stocked but missing knives, the furniture all around the common areas was deteriorating (indoor furniture that had been put outdoors). There are lockers in the rooms which is great, the location is not excellent but within a 10 min walk you are in plaza de Armas

Estimado Antonio, Usted hizo una reserva para una habitación twin (2 camas separadas) con baño compartido por 4 noches. Cuando usted llego al hostel, lamentablemente ya venia con este problema de querer una habitación doble (cama matrimonial) con baño compartido. Si usted pudo reservar una habitación twin es porque esa era la disponibilidad que teníamos y no puede exigir al momento del check in que se le cambie a una habitación doble. Al no encontrar la disponibilidad (porque no la había y por eso no pudo reservarla a través de Expedia) usted disminuyo su reserva de 4 noches a solo 1 noche. Como resultado de esta situación los decepcionados en este caso somos nosotros ya que nos hizo rechazar a otros clientes al tenerle asegurada su reserva por 4 noches y alojarse solo 1 noche. Esa no es la forma de proceder señor.

Everything was clean and the staff friendly and professional. However, the amenities left a lot to be desired. The Hostel is Old, and somewhat run down, although the bathrooms have been remodeled. It is still not worth it for the price. Could be in a better location as well

Premium Hostel
Das Happy House Hostal ist kein gewöhnliches Hostel: die Familienzimmer sind sehr geräumig, haben hohe Stuckdecken und sind stylisch eingerichtet und dekoriert. Es gibt einen Pool, Tischtennis, Billiard und viele Lounge-Ecken zum entspannen. Das Frühstück ist gut (Rühr- oder Spigeleier auf Wunsch). Es gibt auch eine große Küche zum Selberkochen. Das Personal ist sympathisch, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man kann auch Getränke kaufen (Softgetränke & Bier). Freitag und Samstag gibt es auch Barbetrieb. Alles in allem mehr als empfehlenswert!

Buena relacion precio/calidad. Para pocos días
La habitación que nos dieron estaba sin hacer: las toallas usadas colgadas en un perchero, basura arriba de la mesita de luz, etc. explicamos esto y nos cambiaron a otra que estaba bien: limpia, bastante amplia, con lo necesario. Fuimos en invierno y la calefacción era poca, hacia frío. El wifi no anda nunca.El desayuno bastante escaso, si vas tarde ya no hay nada. La ubicación esta bien, la gente de recepción es amable, nos guardaron el equipaje el ultimo día y nos dejaron usar los espacios comunes. Si no pensas quedarte muchos días, esta bien.

O hostel fica em um local ótimo, a duas quadras do metrô Los heroes que permite o translado de ônibus do aeroporto ida e volta, porém achei o café da manhã muito fraco e o pior é que agente tá tomando café e acaba o pão ai tem que esperar a funcionária ir comprar, fiquei 3 dias e aconteceu a mesma coisa, sem falar que não tem queijo e apenas banana e maça verde. Outra coisa o café só sai depois das 8 horas da manhã.

Très jolie auberge de jeunesse
Très jolie auberge de jeunesse, bien entretenue, propre, avec bcp de charme.Radiateur dans la chambre. Pas pu prendre le petit déjeuner car départ a 6h du matin. Seul inconvénient, la sonnette de la porte d éntree fonctionne mal. On a dû attendre 10 minutes dehors pour que quelq un vienne nous ouvrir.

O Hostel é um casarão antigo, muito bem cuidado, está próximo ao metrô e ao centro de Santiago. Estive em um quarto individual, amplo é muito confortável, café da manhã simples porém muito gostoso. Só senti falta do aquecimento no quarto, pois à noite a temperatura cai bastante. O Wi-Fi precisa melhorar.

Gorgeous old mansion turned into massive hostel
Hostel is much larger than it looks from the outside. Many amenities, including a pool, kitchen, multiple lounges. For the size of the hostel, washrooms should be cleaned more often as they get a lot of use. Staff were generally friendly and helpful. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs as the building is old and creaks (it seems to have the original floors and many other original features, which are charming but loud). A cool location to stay. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Wifi can be patchy.

Big, characterful hostel
Stayed two separate one-nights in twin rooms. Rooms very simple but 'do the job' for travellers with straight forward needs. Hostel has all usual facilities and is very roomy, including a small pool and a bar. Central location just 5 mins walk from Los Heroes metro.
