The extraordinary care and dedication of the office customer service staff; namely Marina,Yajaira and Kaila and the Emotions concierge Scarlett were EXEMPLARY!!! They went the extra mile multiple times to assist myself and my family member during our time of need - we will never forget their sincere and authentic desire to help out with whatever we needed during our stay at Emotions. We found the grounds to be well maintained and charming, the food in the main dining room was always fresh, plentiful and varied. Our rooms were clean, bright and airy and overlooking the ocean; always cleaned and refreshed daily and extra service was provided promptly when requested. The bed with it's lush supply of pillows was like sleeping on clouds. I appreciated well functioning air conditioning in addition to a ceiling fan. Getting to the hotel was challenging due to some local road & building maintenance and the back alley entrance area can be a bit off putting -- but from the moment we stepped out of our rental car the staff at the Emotions Hotel made us feel welcomed, safe and they all worked hard to make our stay memorable and enjoyable!! The jewel of the resort inside the walls of the back alley entrance and the staff there are well worth the search. I would go back in a heartbeat and would be delighted to reunite with the friends I made while staying there!!

Property was nice, needs some upgrades to the rooms. I did not like the admitted solicitation into timeshare as soon as I got out the taxi. Other than that I would come back.

The staff was very friendly. The beach was amazing. My issues were that the music being played at the disco/club need to be more diverse, the food was horrible, and there needs to be daytime entertainment and not only nighttime entertainment.

You pay for what you get for. This resort is easily a 5/10. The staff was rude, the food was awful and the drinks were just as bad. The taxi leaving the hotel was atrocious. The beach was covered in seaweed making it extremely limited to swim. There were so many pan handlers on the beach that wouldn’t leave you alone. We tried Uber and it said it would cost a certain amount American and the Uber driver made us cancel and it cost us triple the American dollar to leave. I would never recommend this resort to anyone. The only good thing about this resort was the bartender Tony. Also the coffee shop had good coffee. I asked the resort for a plastic bag to put ice in because we needed to ice a wrist because I was swollen and the lady who worked the mid afternoon in the gift shop refused to give me multiple bags, flat out said no and another worker spoke with me privately and told me he did not like her attitude which spoke volume. Overall, do not stay at this resort if you like food, drinks and peace during your vacations.

We unfortunately had 2 medical incidents. The first one we had to wait for the doctor then wait again for supplies to treat my husband. Dr Gracie Stevens though was very nice. The next incident was more severe and handled poorly. Our room phone didnt work so I had to keep running across the resort to the concierge desk. They promised the doctor was coming. We waited and waited. Then they informed me we had to go to the clinic. I told them my husband was in pain and couldn't walk. I asked them to call an ambulance. It took so long to get there. The ambulance team could not catheterize my husband so they made him walk to the stretcher. He was yelling in pain! The one good thing they did was send Carlos, an employee who spoke great English with us in the ambulance. He offered us public or private care. I said which is faster and it was public. So we went to San Pedro hospital, 20 minutes away. Finally they treated my husband after 3 hours of pain!!! Carlos then took us in a cab to get medication then back to the hotel. The Manager said something very inappropriate to my husband. He told my husband that if someone were to die, the resort would get bad ratings. OMG!!! Through the whole ordeal they just kept asking if we had insurance. I did of course but it seemed they were more concerned about ratings and if we could pay for medical care than for my poor husband. Otherwise we had a good time and all the staff were very nice plus the property is beautiful and food is good.

Below average on everything for an all-inclusive resort. Limited options for everything including activities, food and drinks. Alcoholic beverages are of really terrible quality except Presidente beer on tap. They resort sales people will try to sell you additional programs like vacation discount program. Do not fall for it. It is all scam to consume your time. They will tell you 90min and you will be stuck with them for 3hrs. Hotel has a beach access which is a plus but it is not that great. The bar at the beach is a joke. They serve snacks but whenever you go there is hardly any food. The answer you get is it will be refill in 10min. That never happens. In all my suggestion is if you get all-inclusive for regular hotel rate then go for it. Not premium worthy.
