I absolutely loved this hotel! Everyone was so kind, and the property was stunning. I originally booked three nights in a Junior cave suite with a small pool. It was perfect. In fact I loved it so much, I wanted to extend my stay, but that particular room was booked. So I rebooked in a Suite (pool front) and it was even better. It was huge! Like a one bedroom apartment- with a private hot tub. There are several pools on property, so even if you don’t have a private one there are plenty to choose from. And the property isn’t overcrowded. So nothing was full.
As for location- it was amazing. It’s not on the main walkway of Oia, but that’s a good thing. It’s not as noisy— and people staying on the walkway can’t be dropped off or picked up by a vehicle. And this property is literally across the street.
The only thing I will mention, that wasn’t a big deal for me, as I traveled alone… But the cave Junior suite has no doors on the inside— not even to the bathroom. I see this in a lot of hotels in Europe. It isn’t unusual, but depending on who you are traveling with, it is something to pay attention to, when booking your room type. The Pool Front Suite, was more tradition, with rooms and doors that shut. It is the room I would want if I was traveling with my mother— for example.
