여행사 통해서 할 경우 안좋은 케이스가 많다고 해서 호텔스닷컴 통해서 예약하고 갔어요~! 렌트카, 픽업서비스, 요트투어 전부 호텔에 직접 메일로 문의해서 신청했는데 제가 영어도 잘 못하고... 엉망인데도 친절히 답장해주시고 설명해주셔서 무사히 다녀올 수 있었어요!ㅎㅎ 그리스에서 만난 어떤 사람보다 친절하게 안내해주셨고, 늘상 웃는얼굴로 맞아주셔서 안내데스크에 가는일이 즐거웠어요. 방에서 보는 뷰도 정말 아름다웠고 조식도 양도 많고 ㅋㅋ아주 훌륭했어요. 특히 호텔내 레스토랑에서 나오는 새우요리는 잊을 수가 없네요. 또 산토리니에 간다면, 꼭 다시 찾고 싶은 곳이에요. It was really nice Resort. They are very kind and sweet. View was fantastic, breakfast and dinner (especially Shirimp!) also nice.

Terrible service
So Terrible!! Eventhough we made a reservation for Tholos resort, they gave us another resort room in tholos chain. The resort name is dome resort which has no view and under the construction. Service was terrible, everything was bad!! Don't stay in Tholos!!! 톨로스 리조트를 예약하고 픽업 서비스까지 신청해서 밤 12시에 도착했더니, 자기네들이 운영하는 엉뚱한 리조트 내의 방을 주었습니다. 톨로스리조트에서 운영하는 또 하나의 호텔이라며 그 호텔과 같은 급이라며 저희보고 무조건 자라고하더라구요~ 밤 12시이기도 하고 일단은 묵었지만, 다음 날 8시부터 해당 리조트는 공사를 시작했고(다 지어진 리조트도 아니었고 완전 주변은 폐허 수준) 정말 최악 최악이었습니다. 아침 7시 경 자고 있는데 노크도 없이 방문을 열쇠로 열더니 조식 배달을 하구요;;(원래 조식은 9시30분에 발코니로 가져다달라고 요청한 상황이었습니다.) 톨로스 리조트 사진을 보고 돈을 주고 예약을 했는데, 자기네들이 운영하는 다른 리조트 방을 주는 거라면~ (위치도 정말 최악입니다. 칼데라 뷰가 아니라 논밭 뷰..) 굳이 여기 예약할 필요가없을 텐데요~~ 그냥 최악이에요! 한국인 분들 여기 예약하실 때 정말 주의하세요! 블로그에 좋은 후기보고 예약했더니,, 한국인들이 요새 많이 와서 그런지 일단 오버부킹 되더라도 예약 다받은 담에 복불복으로 방 주는 것 같았습니다~~ 운좋게 원래 톨로스 리조트 방에 묵게되면 좋겠지만~ 저처럼 Dome resort 라고 불리는 공사현장 리조트에서 묵게될 수도 있어요~ 항의해서 이튿 날에는 방을 옮겼지만, 산토리니에서 시간 낭비 체력 낭비 그냥 최악이었습니다.

Stayed here last May and couldn’t recommend it enough. Imerovigli is very quiet town but yet close to Oia and Fira. Breakfast was fabulous and service even better. Staff was extremely friendly. Great dining options near by. Food and cocktails from the bar were absolutely delish. Room was great size and spacious. View was incredible as well.

Amazing caldera view
We had a great stay in Tholos. We are a family of 3 with an 8 year old. We stayed in the Superior Suite. The space was perfect for the 3 of us. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. It was lovely to wake up to the beautiful view of the caldera every day. Tholos is located along the cliffs so it is not near a beach. You have to trek up the stairs to get to the town. Maybe equivalent to 6-7 flights of stairs? If you don't like stairs, this is not the place for you. Our 8 year old made it every day just fine though. There is a little hotel pool to cool off during the summer months. They served us breakfast in our room every day. We would eat it on the balcony looking out to the caldera every day. We even ordered dinner from the hotel restaurant one night so we can enjoy the sunset. Can you tell we really liked the view? When we did venture out, there are many restaurants and stores within 5-15 minutes walking distance from the hotel. My only suggestion is that they make a sign at the bottom of the stairs to direct visitors to reception. There are clusters of hotels along the cliffs and very clear signs would help. (Note, turn left when you hit the end of the first set of stairs.) Hotel staff was helpful and courteous.

Beautiful views and relaxing stay
Amazing view! The hotel is very relaxing because it’s pretty quiet. I wouldn’t recommend it if you have young children or you can’t handle stairs because there are a lot of them and they’re pretty narrow. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. I would say the bathroom would need a bit more storage because there is no paper holder for the toilet so you have to leave it on the trashcan lid. Only one hook for the towels and it’s pretty small. Don’t expect to leave your toiletry bag by the sink because it’s small too. Same for the rest of the room. Only one space to hang a few clothes by the kitchen but once you open you suitcase on the floor by the bed you don’t have much room to walk around. Having an inside pool was really nice and you have an amazing view of the bay from the windows. You order breakfast the day before via a form online. We only got about 85% of what we ordered every time. I don’t know if they were out of just didn’t read the form properly. I would recommend the hot breakfast items, they were pretty good. Staff is extremely nice and porters will help you get your luggages to and out of your room don’t worry. Overall it was a great first experience in Santorini. The room was like the island, small but charming. You just have to stay organize. We tried to go to the main hotel pool but it was full. Since the hotel is built into the cliff there isn’t much room anywhere so just keep that in mind.

As someone who travels more than half the year, it was an incredible experience rarely does a property exceeded my expectations and this one did the views the staff the hospitality. If there was one negative and there always is it’s the amount of stairs, but that is Europe, and that is the hillside and the beauty of Santorini thank u to great hosts

Advantages of this hotel: Conveniently situated just a 35-minute walk away from Fira, the main town. Spectacular views of the caldera Complimentary breakfast Disadvantages: The room we booked had a hot tub "inside" that was technically separated by glass doors. While it made for beautiful photos, the smell of chlorine permeated the room, causing major discomfort. This led to severe headaches and trouble sleeping. When we inquired about changing rooms due to the smell, the hotel offered us another room for $70 per night. To boot, the hot tub in our room was freezing upon our return at 5 PM. Restoring the temperature required calling the maintenance person who had already left for the other side of the island. We waited for nearly an hour for them to arrive and the hot tub never heated up. Even the next morning it was as cold as a cold pool. The staff at the front desk blamed us for not requesting the hot tub to be warm. Unfortunately a terrible way to end our honeymoon, I would not recommend staying here.

Dear Guest,We are surprised to read your review. We would like to highlight though some certain details of your stay. The room you booked features an Indoor Hot Tub, and at the first day of your stay you mentioned it was small and you would like to be upgraded in a bigger room type. We informed you on the options, a room free of charge without a hot tub, or a Suite with Private Outdoor Hot Tub on an extra charge, and you declined both options. Next morning you mentioned the chlorine smell and headaches, and we formally replied you that we do not use chlorine or other chemicals in our in-room facilities. Surprisingly you are the 1st guest in 9 years operating, that mentioned the smell or discomfort in your sleep, as we do not use such chlorine based or similar cleaners for the filter of the tub, which is located in an external area of your room. Still, you requested an upgrade to a Suite with Outdoor Hot Tub, and we formally replied with the same options as initially offered, declining both of them. You never mentioned any issues during your last day, but instead you requested to turn off the heating of the hot tub, resulting to the inconvenience with the temperature. In our point of view, you claimed the smell-headache issue just to extort for a different room type, however there is a limit to what we can offer especially in provocative customers who are trying just to extort our business, and therefore we are prepared to protect our business from such slanderous reviews.

Very nice hotel with beautiful views. We had 2 bedroom Villa with hot tub, nice size rooms great staff and quieter than Oai, which we liked! I think Tholos has the best views and it’s not obstructed by people walking past your room. It’s very close to skaros rock so more hiking if you like! We were there end of April so would have liked hot tub temperatures little more warmer but we still enjoyed it! Aana was wonderful and helped us with everything we needed!

Wonderful hotel
Amazing hotel. We spent a couple of nights there as honeymooners, and we had a wonderful experience. Everything thing from location, room, pool, cleanness was perfect. But most importantly the STAFF were most welcoming and helpful. They were super polite and treated us as kings. I would give more than 5 stars if possible only for the staff!

This resorts offers amazing views and it’s very close to Fira, also the staff was amazing starting from the Gentleman (George) great communicator and respectful also the lady in the morning in reception was amazing giving us information and making us feel comfortable, Victor the guy who was very helpful at all times with another lady who I didn’t catch her name and even breakfast was great. They were ALL amazing. Thank you Tholos for providing us an unforgettable stay.

Un merveilleux séjour !
Nous avons séjourné 4 nuit dans cet hôtel et ce fut un séjour merveilleux ! L'hôtel se trouve à Imerovigli qui était le lieu idéal. Nous avons pris la chambre avec jacuzzi intérieur qui possède une vue splendide ! Le personnel de l'hôtel était également très gentil. Concernant le petit déjeuner, il était très bon et on pouvait être facilement rassasié par la quantité selon nos choix. Nous avons également mangé au restaurant de l'hôtel et tous les plats que nous avons pris étaient délicieux. Une belle découverte de la cuisine grecque. 😊 Le seul petit bémol était le parking (public). Il était proche de l'hôtel mais il y avait peu de place. Nous avons tout de même réussi à nous garer à chaque fois.

Best resort, in the best location, the staff were helpful and the rooms were amazing with the most amazing views and excellent privacy. Breakfast was great and always on time. Pools are not heated, but it doesn't seem that's the case anywhere in Greece. Great spot to relax and enjoy some downtime.

From the moment we stepped in to the moment we left, we were constantly greeted by staff and treated like family. I have never stayed in any other place where the staff is this caring, grateful, and overall just genuinely nice. Anna, at reception, had given us some of the best customer service we’ve ever received. Between ordering us taxi’s, calling to make sure we arrived safely and recommending us various parts of Greece to continue our trip, she was amazing. Overall the genuine care of everyone around us will definitely make Tholos Resort a place I will hands down recommend for anyone looking to stay in Santorini.

Das Hotel liegt traumhaft an der Klippe in Imerovigli. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und sehr gut, der Pool klein aber fein und mit bester Lage, Zimmer mit Terrasse waren wunderschön. Unseres Erachtens ist ein Pool im Zimmer oder auf der Terrasse nicht zwingend notwendig. Das Personal sehr herzlich und stets hilfsbereit! Absolut zu empfehlen!!! Viele kleine Supermärkte und Restaurants sind im Umkreis vorhanden. Mehr Möglichkeiten zum Aufhängen von Handtüchern wäre wünschenswert gewesen.

The hotel offers spectacular views and staff was fantastic. All rooms have terrace overlooking the sea but how nice is the room itself varies depending on category you book. Pool is quite small but very nice. Food was great as well. The only thing to keep in mind - it’s not adults only and during my stay there were kids splashing and screaming in the pool, which was the only negative point about the hotel.

Tholos was great although they were very strict on their check in time. Me and some of the other guests had to wait in their restaurant in the heat until they had our rooms ready. Some hotels allowed early check in. But they gave us a complimentary orange juice while we waited. The view was amazing, and the room was gorgeous for a cave inspired suite. However one of days during our stay they had a temporary power outage not just them but the whole block on that side of the caldera suffered. So we had no food, water, or electricity. We had to walk to the neighboring town of Fira to get some food. Also I didnt feel a special sense of Anniversary welcome from them. No card, no flowers on the bed, just happy anniversary greeting from the concierge.

We are happy to know that you found the room gorgeous and you enjoyed the amazing view.It sounds like you had a really lovely stay and we thank you for expressing this. We kindly inform you that the check in time is at 14.00 and we can offer early check in to our guests upon availaibility. As your flight was landed at 07.45am it was not possible for us to offer you so early check in. As for the two hours of power outrage, as you described it was in the whole area of Imerovigli but the hotel offered to guests who asked coplimentary bottles of mineral water. Finnally, we feel sorry if you did not have the sense of Anniversary welcome but we thought that the welcoming words and the bottle of wine in your room could be a sign of our intention to wish you for this special occassion. Thank you again for your very kind compliments, and allow us to clarify the entire situation.
