Nice apartment and area.
Very pleasant apartment number 8 , large living room, fully equipped kitchen even with dishwasher and tablets! Laundry also in apartment, did not use this as only there two nights. Upstairs and downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms. Well-maintained inside and very clean. Two balconies with table and chairs. Quiet street, walking distance to RSL and another club for meals. Host Sonya was pleasant and helpful with ideas of what do do around town. Lockup garage with inside access to apartment, but we did not use this because it would have been too tight a fit for our Tucson. Smaller car would be fine. We parked on street, quiet and safe. We were impressed with this apartment, and would stay again.

Neat little property. Plenty of room for a family of 4. Pool needed filling up but was otherwise good. Management seemed to be a little annoyed if you asked for something or needed something.

Nice and spacious apartment in good condition. Great kitchen for a family to save money eating out (helpful when there was suspected Covid-19 in town at the time so we decided to avoid eating out and crowds). Also very good location as only a 5 minute walk to the town/lake. Managers friendly and helpful. Would certainly book again.

Beautiful holiday revisited
Beautiful beaches beautiful location walking distance to all fantastic restaurants top mini golf entertainment for the kids. It was really the best designed mini golf course that I have been to with beautiful bushes and tricky and clever imagination and yet it was workable. Fantastic RSL bistro with great food and especially servings. All within a stroll

Comfortable unit with excellent new appliances
Lovely kitchen, and decor with an efficient heater for the chilly night. The complex is quiet and very well maintained, close to town so we walked to dinner and morning coffee. Great value for money. Thank you.

Lovely stay close to town
Anchorbell was better than expected. It was like a home away from home with everything supplied. Would be great for families with pool, tennis court and swings.

OK stay in Merimbula.
To be fair the hosts booked the two of us into a holiday apartment which would have been ideal for a youngish family. The bed was comfortable. We really only used the upstairs section . Downstairs was a bit cool. Ok in the summer. Some Items and fixtures had aged but were serviceable and you could walk into town with ease. Hosts were friendly .

Comfortable and good value
This was my second stay at Anchor Bell, the first when I was travelling alone and this time with wife for an extended weekend and some business. When we arrived my wife was concerned that she could not see the water from the room. That is certainly true but it is only a short walk to anywhere and we did not spend a lot of time at the hotel anyway.

Nice accommodation, convenient and comfortable
It is an enjoyable stay. We find that the place is clean and comfortable. The location is very convenient, it is just a short walk to all the shops and restaurants. The kids like the swimming pool and the tennis count. I will highly recommend this place to everyone.

Great spot, massive townhouses!
These two level townhouses are like a home away from home. Although they are very 80's, they are clean, great value and have plenty of room for a family. We also appreciated the tennis court and swimming pool, which our young daughter loved. Lovely host, easy process. Highly recommend!

Quiet motel. Close to everything.
Stayed for 2 nights, would have like to stay longer but time constraints prevented that. Great facilities and friendly staff. Look forward to return visit.

All the comforts of home
We stayed 3 nights, as a family and the town house unit provided us with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Fully equipped kitchen, upstairs ensuite and downstairs bathroom, garaged parking as well as free internet and foxtel TV. The owner Sonja, checked us in and showed us the facilities, BBQ, pool and tennis court, and was most pleasant and helpful whenever we spoke to her. All in all an excellent place to stay although no sea or beach views unfortunately

Great place to stay.
We really enjoyed our stay. You can walk to the shops, restaurants & amusement centre easily. The kids loved the tennis court & heated pool right at our doorstep & spent plenty of time at both.

Lovely place. Roomy. Quiet area. Walk everywhere
These apartments are in a great spot! Walk to shops, Clubs, beach. Car can be next to your apartment undercover. No-one above you or direct too close. Very spacious and extremely clean. Managers obliging but leave you to enjoy :) Would definitely go stay again.

Quite place
This is a well maintained hotel with large rooms and well equipped kitchen. Clean but a bit small pool and a good BBQ area. Tennis court (mini) was also good. Close to shopping and food and a short drive to beaches. A quite place.

Great Location & Value
The location of the Anchorbell means a short walk to the main shopping and food venues, yet it is also a very quiet place to stay. The owners are helpful and friendly, the unit has been recently updated and is comfy, inviting and spacious, having good sized bedrooms, lounge, laundry and kitchen areas and the tariff is reasonable. Secure, individual undercover parking for your car, too, right alongside your unit, with even a lock-up garage on the 3 bedroom units. Importantly, all facilities were very clean as well. We consider this an appealing place to stay, particularly for a few days or more, because it is more like a home than feeling cramped and a bit closed in like most places of this type and price range are. We will definitely use Anchorbell as our go-to spot at Merimbula.
