The lady at the desk was lovely. The facility is old and it shows it. Paint is peeling off the cabinets, the porcelain on the sink is starting to rust and deteriorate, the door was broken and couldn't lock properly.

The scale and personality of the place reminds me of the simpler, less developed Longboat Key of my 1960's childhood. The unit and the grounds are pleasant, comfortable, and well-maintained. Beautiful, open view of the gulf, which feels like it is right outside your door.

Great quick beach getaway
The cozy cottage is perfect for a quick beach getaway…ask for the units that are not part of the main ‘motel’ building…our unit met our needs but if you’re under the stairs you’ll hear neighbors arriving and departing. Everything you need is in the unit…it’s very homey and old time Florida appeal…

Wonderful beach getaway place
Wonderful and absolutely everything we wanted and needed out of a beach getaway. Adorable beach bungalow was just breathtaking. Super clean. Super friendly. Super quaint. Super all the feels. We will definitely go back for more of Sea Club I.

Cozy lovely beach houses on the Gulf. We really enjoyed the location as we were able to put our paddle boards in the Bay on the other side of the Key.

We had a magical beach getaway! Beach trips often offer a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. the the soothing sound of waves, warm sun, and the refreshing ocean breeze added to the enchanting experience. The property is in a perfect location just steps from the beach, the room was super clean and had everything we needed. Lisa is the sweetest, she gave us all the information we needed and check in and out was a breeze. Zero stress… I didn’t want to leave.

the day of checkin we received a courtesy call from the property and because we would be arriving late it was decided they would unlock the unit and leave the keys inside with the office contact information and we were to stop in the office the next day to take care of registering. Such a simple gesture but meant a lot, it was nice just going to the unit. it is a smaller complex which is great, beach wasn't crowd, lots of room, not piled together. Publix just a few miles a way to get breakfast and lunch items. Not a lot of eating choices super close, needed to drive about 15 minutes to Armound Beach or Bradenton. Unit was not fancy but had everything we needed. I would recommend this property if you are looking to relax.

Our room was just right for what we needed. It was clean and had everything that we needed. We had a view overlooking the pool with a partial view of the ocean. The beach was a short walk and the property offered its guests beach loungers.

Old Florida, but Nice
Our stay at the hotel was very relaxing, convenient to places, on the beach, and had chairs for the beach. The people were very nice and helpful. We stayed in a second floor studio. The view was absolutely beautiful. Looking at the pool and beach. The only thing they could improve on is updating the place. It could use some nice things. Wires were hanging Down in the view from the balcony. I would still recommend it to anyone, just know it's old Florida. 👍

Small resort with nice staff and quiet beach area. Each unit is individually owned. Our unit was clean ( which is most important) with the exception of one area. The bathroom was very small. Booked here for low pricing.

This place should be condemned. It is so old, dated and dirty! I don’t think the sofa or chairs have ever been cleaned in the 20 years it seems they have been there.. the bathroom had all stained ceiling tiles and the tub had crushed tiles and a rusty dirty disgusting drain that did not drain well… the pool is not heated and they give you a book if rules and regulations when you check in… so not customer friendly. You have to drag your own beach chair to and from beach at this “resort” I WOULD NOT recommend anyone stay here!!!!

Hello Roseanne - I see you did not care for your unit. I will be sure to share your review with the unit owner. Our pool is heated. Heater was turned on late Oct and has been on since. We do not supply a BOOK of rules, but rather a two page blue brochure with WI-FI code on front and emergency contact numbers on back. We do request that you return your chairs to where you took them from. This is a town ordinance during turtle season and most guests understand and have no issue. Thank You for your feedback.

Hotel staff were friendly, other guests were very pleasant. The location was ideal, and beach was right out the front door almost. Beaches are beautiful, and would stay again!

This place brings an old school beach feel, it sits in the middle of two new modern resort style facilities but it feels like a old school beach get away and the people there were very personable. Can’t wait to go back next year!!!

Close to the beach. Outside was in decent condition considering the recent hurricane. Back deck was not in good condition. Lots of tree leaves which could have been cleaned up by owner or property manager.
