Reserved two rooms of dual queen beds. They only had, (and knew all along), two rooms with a single king. No problem, we only have two people sleeping on the floor. They called it an "upgrade". Breakfast was a pathetic joke.

Not what we were expecting for a Baymont. However, it did seem like they were in the process of improving the rooms. Staff was very friendly, and tried their best to make you comfortable.

This hotel is not clean. There was an odd, unidentifiable odor on the entire second floor. The security latch on my door was broken. The tub had an actual acrylic patch visible. There was no cold drinks available - front desk said the refrigeration was broken, so they had nothing available. Lastly, I don’t know what to make of it, but several (like 4-5) room doors on my floor were slightly propped open by the security latch as though being left open for someone who was coming with no key. Made me wonder if it was some sort of “by the hour” situation. There are several reputable hotels right next door to this. Choose one of those.

We had reserved a double queen room for 3 people, and when we arrived we received a room with a king bed (no couch or anything). He tried to market this as an upgrade! Ha! If we weren't traveling as a group, we would've just left. The staff at checked-in couldn't seem to understand this pretty blaring issue. Our kid slept on the floor. This is not at all what we paid for at.all, and no recource was given. Additionally, many things were broken or in poor condition: internet wasn't working the entire stay, pool was out of order and closed, our bathroom door wouldn't even shut, bar to hang clothes on was cut too short and wouldn't support any weight, mircowave handle in room was broken, thermostat on the wall had no power running to it. A broken window unit was just sitting in the hallway right off the elevator. Seemed like a good amount of code violations just about everywhere you looked: storage/trash in the stairwell, wires hanging down from where exit signs should be. We waited to check out 30mins before standard check out time, and a sign was there to "ring the bell for service." We waited for awhile, but no one showed, and that was our last impression. It was shockingly subpar.

I should have listen to the previous reviews. The room for starters had no clothing closet to hang clothes, no trash can, no telephone to call front desk, and the t.v. was a 32 inch monitor and the volume could not be turned up. The floor smelled on marijuana, but the manager did try to find out where it was coming from. The breakfast was cereal and milk from a jug with apples and bananas. I was very concern with cross contamination with the milk. As stated before it is own by Patels, so it's not the Wyndham you may be custom to. My advise seek another hotel don't lower your standards. We stayed only because we were there for late at night to lay our heads and the beds were comfortable.

Construction was the main source of any negative feedback that the hotel could control. Noisy neighbors at 1am was quickly dealt with when brought to the attention of the front desk.

The hotel floor we were on was being worked on the entire stay. There was Sheetrock all throughout the entire floor. They were also painting so the entire floor even in the room smelled like fresh paint.

The outside of the building and the lobby have been refreshed. The hallways and rooms are old and smelly. The toilet wasn't attached to the floor. The cable TV went in and out. Couldn't wait to leave.

I'm going to be honest, this is one of the worst stays at a hotel I've ever experienced. This does not speak towards the staff there at all because the people at the front desk were the most kind and courteous people. I am mainly referring to the condition of the hotel itself. When we first arrived you could tell the lobby has recently been repainted and it smelled like paint, but then you get on to the elevator and it has the worst smell ever. It smelled almost like body odor but also a very muggy hot aroma, like there was no air conditioning going towards the elevator at all. Once you get off the elevator on the second floor, there was an awful smell in the hallway. We go into our booked room and it smelled like cigarette smoke, and it smelled like someone had tried to spray cleaning solution to cover up the cigarette smoke smell which only made it worse. One of the bulbs was missing out of one of the lights in our room, there was a lock on the window and the window still didn't even lock (I've also never seen a hotel where the windows open above the ground floor), the bathroom door would not shut and lock because it did not line up with the latch in the door frame. One of the lights mounted to the wall that you twist the knob to turn on has a small metal piece underneath to hide the cord for it, when my husband turned the switch to turn the light on the piece fell off of the wall. The internet was super slow so I ended up just using my phone data because it was faster.
