Front desk staff was ineffective or non existent. Housekeeping was the brightest part of our stay. Continental breakfast was a joke!

Charged twice. Someone was put in the same room and harassing me at 1am. Garbage in the back hallways. Not a secure building. Says they have crib for infant and don't. No gym room.

We had to switch rooms as the TV was damaged. New room had no Kleenex or wash clothes. Breakfast was waffles, bagels(stale) grape juice and a can of Mandarin orange unopened.

This property was horrible. There was bugs stained walls stained sheets, stained comforters. The conditions were deplorable. There was missing, lampshades. The ceiling in the bathroom was falling apart, and when we turn the water on to take a shower bugs came out with brown water. I don’t know how this facility is even functioning at this point with any customers

Drap et couvre lit sale, oreiller avec des cheveux dessus et tout croche sur le lit. Odeur de cannabis dans la chambre. Toilette qui doit etre changer, a tous les 30 minute elle se met a couler et tres bruyante, et le bol nest pas solide. Tapis tres sale avec de la poussières, de vieux bonbons, toiles d'araignées etc. Murs avec des degoulis de saletés. Miroir tres sale. Dejeuner avec tres peu d'options. Juste 2 serviettes pour une chambre de 4 et pas de serviettes a mains et une seule débarbouillette.

Lack of professionnalism of the reception attendant. Ask for hair dryer for the morning, never received, bathroom fixtures lacked maintenance. No coffee, no breakfast and we paid for it. We are really disappointed. We should receive a refund for any inconvenience.

There were bugs--a lot of them both alive & dead--in the first room they put us in. Beetles, not roaches or bedbugs, but still really, REALLY disgusting. They did promptly move us to another room, and we found 2 dead beetles there, but we decided to stay. Also, lots of peeling paint in the first room--especially the bathroom. Lots of cobwebs in the corners in the second room, but overall, that is better than beetles crawling all over the place. The mini fridge has no shelves in it, but it keeps stuff cold. Bed is comfy, lots of hot water, & the furniture in the room is in decent shape. Breakfast was nothing to get excited about--dried out bagels but no cream cheese, no fruit, no yogurt, etc. But they do have a waffle maker--but bring your own butter & maple syrup if you want the good stuff, not margarine. The place needs some TLC & an exterminator. It could be a really nice motel with a little effort.

There was a boil water or use bottled water notice in effect because the water was unsafe to drink. They should have provided clean water. There were no plates for breakfast and the response was that they were out. Of paper plates. I asked is we were supposed to eat the waffles off the table and she got us some plates. Staff acted as though we were an inconvenience.

I understand it must be tremendous hours for the owners of this hotel. The check in process was a bit quarky due to the front desk person was on speaker with a person on her phone and having a conversation. The next morning, I was looking for coffee and continental breakfast. I had cereal but there was no milk. I then went to the bagels and there was a few and some cream cheese but no knife to put the cream cheese on. Opted for the back of a spoon. I am not concerned that there was not a lot of choices but in the very least care enough to have what is needed and tend to the breakfast area. Trash was full already full maybe from even the prior day since I was there about 1/2 after opening. I think there should be more pride in ownership at this hotel that seems to have a lot to offer.

The property in Schoharie NY was poorly managed during our 2 night stay (12/6 to 12/8 2023). There was no milk for breakfast cereal, there were stale bagels left out. We had to ask the front desk clerk for milk, he acted like he didn't care. Plus on 12/8/23 morning ,he came out from behind the front desk wearing a t shirt and BOXERS! I Could not believe his appearance at the Schoharie N Y. Location. The staff acted like they didn't want to assist customers. We had to ring the front desk bell several times until the clerk came out to the front desk. I would not suggest anyone to stay at that Quality Inn and Suites in Schoharie NY. We were not satisfied at all! Corporate should investigate the condition of the motel and the staff. There were no security on the premise in case an emergency were to occur.. We did not feel safe at night. Expedia should investigate the location and take the motel off their list of N.Y. motels.....

The bathroom was not good. the commode wouldn't flush properly, I had to continually work on the plunger, We only had one wash cloth and when we asked for the second one it was promised but never delivered.

Staff at front desk were not personable. Desk was always empty when something was needed. The continental breakfast uncluded waffles, which were delcious, but all other items were about empty, including plates, and no attendants could be found. The wall plaster in the bathroom was peeling off into the tub. The toilet paper was empty. The temperature in the room was inconsistent on whatever setting you chose. Very poor experience.

Mad about money
The hotel room was nasty so we ended up leaving. We didn’t even stay the night. We left that same day and we were overbilled by $200 and they still have not fixed the situation.

Breakfast choices very limited. There wasn’t any artificial sweeteners for the coffee. Look on side door broken so that anyone could enter.

The only problem I had was I booked this online to pay at premises so when I checked out they automatically charged my credit card and someone else was paying the employee said that he didn’t see it should have been in the reservation. I am very upset

The heater for the room worked and was quiet. That’s the only good thing we can say. The carpets were dirty throughout the hotel. Office chair for a guest to sit on was ripped and dirty. Our room, large hole in wall behind the door that has not been fixed. Tv did not work. Hairdryer holder was not attached to the wall. The room was to hold 4 guest but only offered 2 bath towels that seemed like they were not fully dried (damp) The mattress must have be original to the building. You sank when you sat. Breakfast was offered but no decaf, no OJ no fruit, yogurt No pastry Just bagels, English muffin and you could make a waffle. When you are paying a premium price I would expect a premium product. Very dissatisfied. This experience made it easy to never go to a Quality Inn again.

Hotel room was damp and had a very very strong smell as if the A/C has not been serviced or cleaned for a very long time. Window could not stay open and had dark spots on it (mold?). Sheets looked dirty and as if someone sat on them after making the bed. Room had an old jersey behind the bed that someone forgot there. Dead batteries in TV remote - and when we asked for batteries we were told to come to the front desk and then told that they had none (we had to buy them ourselves at the local gas station). No coffee cups for breakfast, no paper plates for bread or bowls for cereal. No jelly for bread. We were told that the hotel did not have a functioning manager for several months and based on what we experienced - that sounded right.

Very disappointed in this facility. Did not offer a full breakfast as advertised. No butter of jelly for toast or bagels, had to ask for coffee cups and creamer. No water of juice available.

I thought the staff was helpful . We had no tv in the entire place they offered but did not follow through with a discounted rate. The place is not clean at all . Its really ok and should cost less but it is DEFINITELY not clean. If you like it sparkeling this is not your place. Towels are old, dog hair everywhere, stains on bedding.

Hotel was under a boil water notice - but we were not told that at check in. Only one of the two rooms booked was ready at 11 pm when we checked in and we had to wait 45 minutes until the attendant could reach an off-site housekeeper. Pillowcases we’re stained and might have been dirty. Bathroom floor grout was chopped up and seemed insanitary. Nightstand had sticky stuff and light switch was filthy. I slept in my clothes and put a towel over the pillows. Would have left if it were earlier and area had not been sold out.
