Had booked 2 nights but left after 1.
This was advertised as 4 star but was infact a hostel in the early stages of up grading.
The building, location & 2 staff members we met were lovely as was the breakfast.
The place was in desperate need of an upgrade, there was no TV in any bedroom or even lounge, no radio, 1 pay phone in the entrance. No soft furnishings, comfy chairs, pictures in bedroom, no shaving point in the bathroom, no proper shower.
The lodge is located 6km down a single track road with a few passing places so is very remote, with nothing to do in the evening when it gets dark apart from sit in a sparcely decorated lounge reading magazines dating from 2007!
Hopefully this place will have a lot of money spent on it & then could be amazing, as the views are spectacular & staff lovely.
