The property itself was fine but the reception and subsequent interaction with the owners was not what I’d call a warm welcome. To be fair, Doug was a good fellow but the old woman was just a crank from the word go really. Additionally, I left something quite valuable behind by accident, and even offering to pay for shipping and the inconvenience they still refused to put it in the post. Wasn’t expecting a special trip or to do it in a hurry.. just the next time they might be mailing something… but no. Could not be done. So I hope you at least give it to someone who can use it rather than throw it in the bin. Would not return.

The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The area is quiet and safe with dining opportunities close-by. Room very clean and comfortable and convenient for access to the airport. Great too for access to Inverness. Can't fault it and highly recommend it.

Wouldn’t book again
Room was very small, walk to private bathroom not very good in middle of night. Meant to be exclusive use but no key required therefore could be used by anyone. Breakfast was okay. Payment for stay was dreadful. They didn’t seem to know what was going on and blamed everyone for the problems rather than taking immediate responsibility themselves to sort it out. I have never had these issues before and I make more than 10 trips a year. Made 2 phone calls to b & b, and they were very abrupt…..does not make for good customer service.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Property is clean, comfortable and quiet with easy access to the beach and a nice walking path. Breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this accomodation. Thank you Inchrye B and B.

Friendly and helpful hosts. Comfortable and quiet. Excellent breakfast. And all for a very good price. Lovely walks along the beach. Quick and easy access to the city of Inverness and to the airport. Good local restaurant very nearby. Highly recommended, and I'll certainly stay here again.

This really was a horrible experience. We arrived at the bnb at 10:30pm and no one was there to let us in. The little town was completely dead and no one was around. We tried calling, but the only phone was right on the other side of the door and no one answered or was there to answer. We weren’t sent any check-in instructions or a door code to get in by ourselves. We later realized that check-in was only until 10pm, but this information was hidden in like a tiny little print at the bottom of the confirmation email, VERY easy to miss. We were just shocked that the host didn’t contact us at all the day we were to arrive and never sent know before you go instructions. We tried for quite some time to figure out what to do or how to get in. We knocked, rang the bell, called, emailed - and nothing. We ultimately had to find a last minute hotel in another town and did not get in until midnight. There should be some way to contact the host. We were only 30 min late. We would have been on time had we known we needed to be. It is now the the next day and the host still hasn’t responded to our emails… Really truly an awful, frustrating experience. 0/10. We would not recommend. We hope we can get some kind of refund.

Proprietor advised me of dining across street and arranged for an 4 am early morning cab to the airport. Provided me a so-so brown bag breakfast.

Wonderful stay
We had a great short 3 night stay which was very comfortable. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and the service was exceptional,especially at breakfast. There was a full choice for breakfast and it was ample and delicious. Equally,the accommodation was spotless, comfortable and very well presented.

Excellent séjour. Les hôtes sont exceptionnels et aux petits soins. De l'accueil en passant par le petit déjeuner, tout aura été parfait. La chambre etait spatieuse et totalement rénovée.

I travelled around Scotland for over a week, staying in different hotels and B&Bs each night. This was by far my favorite. Nice home, clean, quiet, safe, in a very cute village on the beach, and the hosts were very friendly. I didnt eat dinner there as I already had plans, but breakfast was amazing the next morning. I would stay here again and recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful, quiet place to stay

This was a lovely place to stay. The hosts were great and you could see the care taken with the property and the facilities. Everything was provided for.Great location within a short walking distance of historic pub. Also only a very short walk to the water.

Highly recommend
The welcome was friendly, the room was lovely, the bed was comfortable. We both slept well which is unusual. The food was excellent. Highly recommend and definitely will be back. Thank you to Jess and Doug for making us so welcome.

Wonderful stay!! Attention to detail and cleanliness was excellent! Breakfast was amazing for plant based diet, Both Jesse and Dougie went out of their way to make my stay outstanding! Highly recommend.

Excellent stay
The house is large and spacious and very well appointed. I'd a friendly welcome and a helpful tour of the house. My bedroom though small, was very comfortable. The bathroom was down a corridor. It was a private bathroom and pristene clean. I'd an excellent breakfast of fresh fruit with Greek yogurt, croissant, brioche with three cheeses and toast. It's the best I've been served anywhere.

Enjoyable 3 night stay. Recommended
Couldn’t fault this place at all. Friendly and helpful hosts. Lovely clean room with sofa and view of the Loch. We walked to Fort George along the Loch side which was easily accessible by a short path from Inchrye. En suite was small with shower but everything needed was provided. Good location with 2 pubs serving evening meals nearby and a bus stop from which we caught a bus into Inverness was only a short walk away. On site parking was available. Breakfasts were amazing, particularly the continental which was full of cheeses, fruits, yoghurt, cake, croissant and toast. Recommended place to stay if visiting the nearby attractions such as Culloden and Cawdor Castle and of course Fort George which was just down the road. Really enjoyed our 3 night stay there

Location to Inverness airport very good, I was only there for 1 night stay. Communication with Jess was very good! Jess helped schedule a cab for 4:30AM. 1-2 minute walk from restaurants. I would definitely stay at Inchrye again, and I would recommend it.

Jess is a wonderful, very helpful host. The little bathroom that I used was lovely, the bed was very comfortable, everything in great shape. I loved the classic Scottish feel of this bnb.

Very nice & richly appointed. Room #1 was large & comfortable. Hosts were above & beyond kind and very hospitable. Perfect for a stay outside of Inverness.

This is the loveliest B&B I have had the pleasure of visiting. The best features: Our room has a living room attached, the Bathroom Mirror has a defog function, and the Bathroom Mirror has a light installed with motion sensor activation. AMAZING, right?

O local é perfeito, muito bonito e o espaço é muito bom ainda possui uma sala bem grande e aconchegante para uso privado do hóspede. A localização também é perfeita, perto do aeroporto de Inverness e apenas alguns metros do lago ness. Porém não posso deixar de descrever minha insatisfação na realização do check in, segundo o anfitrião nós chegamos com 3 horas antes da realização do check in, não sei porque, mas no nosso voucher impresso dizia que o mesmo poderia ser realizado a partir das 13 horas, horário em que chegamos, saliento que vinhamos de viagem da Ilha de Skye e acabamos chegando antes do horário previsto, mas para nós se não fosse possível realizar o check in, não teria nenhum problema, poderíamos voltar mais tarde, o check in foi realizado, mas nos sentimos constrangidos com a recepção do anfitrião no momento, pois nos tratou com má educação e foi arrogante nos dizendo a todo momento que não tinha tempo e que estávamos 3 horas adiantados e que deveríamos entrar em contato com o hotéis.com para resolver isso. Saliento que o lugar é perfeito, mas a recepção deixa muito a desejar, a final somos os Clientes e merecemos atenção e respeito!!!
