A wonderful family run hotel
What an absolute treasure, Ina made us feel very welcome and Kieran's food was SO good. Beautiful characteristic room, very close to the viaduct. Cannot recommend this hotel enough!

This was truly an amazing place to stay - hospitality second to none - nothing was too much to offer by the hosts. Lovely food and comfortable surroundings - homely and quiet too

Excellent stsy at the Prince's House Hotel
This hotel was booked purely on customer ratings as I'd never stayed in that area before. The owners were very friendly and accommodating and we both enjoyed one of the best meals we'd ever had (sea bass and salmon). The home made bread rolls were an added bonus. A snug wee hotel this with the trickle of the stream running beside it. In practical terms, the hotel is a stone's throw from the monument and railway viaduct viewpoint and there is a carpark on the opposite side of the road from the hotel. We'll definitely be back here.

Ina was lovely, as was breakfast and the hotel. Love the bits of history scattered about. 5minutes from Glenning Station and perfect for a morning walk to the Viaduct to catch the steam train passing.

Loved our stay!
Loved our stay! Great bed, awesome espresso maker in the room with many coffee and tea choices. The owners, Kieran and Ina were very warm and friendly. Kieran’s dishes are absolutely delicious. The water is highly recommended for drinking. We hiked the Viaduct trail, it really wasn’t too hard and the views were gorgeous. I would highly recommend The Prince’s House to anyone wanting to stay in this area.

Hotel is in a woodsy area and convenient to points of interest. The restaurant is excellent with a good menu selection. The chef and service is top class. Fort William and Mallaig are within easy driving distance. The Glenfinnan viaduct monument is a mile away.

Had a lovely stay at the hotel. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. The room was very comfortable and the food was delicious. Would definitely stay again.

Front desk person was wonderful. I arrived late, after kitchen closed. She was able to bring me soup and salad. SO appreciated. The hotel is quaint and old. The room was clean but very dark and dowdy looking. My bedside lamp didn’t work. Just for the night it was OK.

Thank you for your message. I'm sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. We have had no reports of foul odours from any guests prior to, or subsequent to your stay. We have been made aware that a nearby property has had issues with drainage, so it is possible that you have been able to smell this if your window was open. I do apologise, but it is outwith our control and no other guests mentioned an unpleasant odour outside the hotel. Our room rates are competitive against other hotels of our standard in this area. Prices are at their highest during July and August as this is the height of our season, Spring and Autumn are better times to visit as the demand for accommodation is lower. Kind regards

One of our favourite places we stayed in Scotland. Ina and Kieren are amazing hosts. The hotel was so comfortable and the food was so delicious . Highly recommend.

Kieron and Ina are the most lovely people. I stayed for 2 nights in room 2. Room facilities are clean and fine. It’s a charming old hotel and therefore a bit noisy. Breakfast is very good, some continental on the table and a menu for the ‘warm’ items. Diner at bistro is simply elegant. I have enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Glenfinnan is very charming, you can take some hikes to the viaduct and through the collage.

An old former coaching inn in a beautiful location. Rooms are a bit small but have all the necessary facilities. Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming . Food is outstanding. Somewhat overpriced for what is on offer, though.

The food, and its presentation, is excellent, both forbreakfast and evening dinner, with many voices all beautifully cooked by the do-owner. The only shortcoming is the absence of a lift. But this not too important as all bedrooms are on the second floor. The dining room isverywell positioned beside a fast-flowing hill stream.

Best hotel in Scotland
I had an amazing stay here and my only regret is that I didn’t stay longer!! I only had one night here but it was very pleasant. The lady who runs the place is one of the nicest friendliest people I’ve ever met and was so helpful. She made me feel very comfortable as I was travelling alone and it was nice to have someone to chat too. The dinner was absolutely phenomenal along with the breakfast. Best food I’ve had in a long time!! If you’re staying in Glenfinnan you MUST stay here.

Quaint old Hotel, but has been upgraded quite nicely. Very friendly and efficient staff. My only complaint was you couldn’t get WIFI in the bedrooms, but was great in the Lobby. Great hiking trails, The Glenfinnan train was a bonus especially since I am a Harry Potter fan.

An unexpected delight!!
We stayed one night en route from Glasgow to Isle of Skye. What a wonderful experience provided by the owners Iena and Kieran, and Jann on thei hospitality team. Service was first rate at the front desk, in dining room/bar. Kieran is an excellent chef so definitely take dinner here, and the breakfast was truly the best ever at any B&B. Our only disappointment were the bed pillows which were very hard to our taste.

A stay in Glenfinnan @ The Prince’s House Hotel.
By no means a modern hotel, but it certainly makes up for that in location (a short walk from Glenfinnan Station), general comfort and attentive staff. Breakfast is included in the price and is very good. The evening meal courses are all listed on a board and are nicely varied. Food is well presented and delicious. Bedrooms are comfortable, but a little dated. Would recommend this hotel for a short stay.

Check-in: flott und sehr nette Begrüssung Lage: sehr schöne ländliche Umgebung in der Nähe vom Glenfinnan Viadukt. Hotel: altes Landhaus mit netten romantischen Zimmern, alles sehr stimmig, sauber und gemütlich. Es gibt sogar eine Nespressomaschine auf dem Zimmer. Parken: gratis beim Hotel. Restaurant am Abend bzw. Frühstück: ausgezeichnetes Essen!!! Sehr netter angenehmer Aufenthalt, würden wir jederzeit wieder machen.

Went to do 2 hills in Glenfinnan area, and hotel was ideally placed. checked in at 1600 on 9th after day on Gulvain. Had much needed pint shandy, and then had scrub-up. Dinner at 1800, 2 excellent fish courses. Breakfast of porridge and scrambled egg on smoked salmon (I like fish!). All set for Sgurr nan Coireachan on 10th. All in all, a good stay.
