When we arrived, the place looked empty and it wasnt obvious who to contact, until i heard a TV in a room left of reception and was then able to check-in.
Upon checking out it wasn't obvious where to go for breakfast and couldn't see anyone - thankfully a lady came out to tell us to pop over to the dining room (which is down the corridor on the right side (past the bar).
It was a full Scottish breakfast, which was excellent.
I think a little kiosk at the front reception - where you can message the person working on the day, would be useful , so atleast guests know someone is aware you are on-site.
Negatives
- Small TV in room
- Dirty kettle in room
- Weak showers
