Expérience décevante
Hotel décevant pour un 4 étoiles. Nous avions réservé une chambre double (lit double + lit d’appoint pour notre fille de 4 ans), nous arrivons dans une première chambre : le lit d’appoint n’est pas sorti : aucun drap pour le protéger juste une couverture en laine datant d’une autre époque…nous ouvrons le réfrigérateur et surprise une canette vide! Nous signalons ces pb en réception, la réceptionniste nous explique qu’elle est toute seule et n’a donc aucun moyen de nous donner les draps dont nous avons besoin, elle nous propose tout de suite de changer de chambre en s’excusant pour ces désagréments. Nous acceptons : toujours pas de drap propre pour mettre sur le lit d’appoint, notre fille a dû dormir à même le matelas (avec les fameuses couvertures en laine) mais plus de canette vide dans le réfrigérateur ouf! Ensuite je descends pour prendre un verre au bar (il était 18h30) : personne pour me servir… Des plateaux, verres et bouteilles vides jonchaient le couloir du 6e étage où se trouvait notre chambre (du moment où nous sommes arrivés au lendemain matin où nous sommes partis…) Nous avons bien dormi (literie confortable) mais expérience décevante.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Immediately upgraded us when our air conditioning did not work. Clean, modern rooms. Appreciated having on site parking.

The location was great, parking on site was also Appreciated, & the staff were very friendly & the breakfast buffets was delicious. However, the cleanliness of our unit—the bathroom in particular, needed attention! The bathroom tile was moldy; the shower curtain was dirty. & full of mold & scum at the bottom; the mirror light did not work & was not fixed even when we told the front desk person about it twice.

Rouen stopover
It was a last minute decision to stay at the Mercure in Rouen. The directions were hard to follow. The parking lot was awful. The hotel lobby, staff, and room was very nice. We enjoyed the stay.

Lovely dog-friendly hotel with parking
This is a good hotel and was great for our one-night stay. Large room and dog friendly. Unfortunately the window had clearly been left open so the carpet was very wet in places, but that's probably not the hotel's fault. The room service food was incredibly good and breakfast buffet was lovely.

Horrific! (even for France standards)
Disgusting! Rooms are weared, filthy, and the sinks were blocked. Smells horrific. We got a list with rooms to "pick" a suitable one however all rooms are in the same bad state. Refurbishment regarding this hotel is painting the bathroom tiles. We run away after one night and had paid for two nights, but they didn't want to refund the skipped night and one breakfast. Don’t go here if you respect yourself.

The location is very convenient for the cathedral and old town. There is a good selection of bars and restaurants within 15 minutes walk. There are also good cheese, bread and charcuterie shops nearby (ask at reception for directions) and a large Intermarché. Good vfm if you don’t mind being slightly less than central. We have stayed here a couple of times.

De accommodatie was makkelijk te bereiken. Het hotel heeft een eigen parkeergarage met ruim voldoende plekken, echter is wel een beetje laag (1,95m). De kamer was netjes, het ontbijt voldoende en het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Op 5 min. wandelen ligt een grote supermarkt en met 15 min. wandelen sta je midden in het prachtige centrum! Zeker een aanrader.

In a great position with parking on site. The room was small for a 4* hotel and the bathroom a bit tired. The staff were amiable enough but I found dinner a bizarre experience. The layout of the menu was at best strange, the wines on offer were limited and the food did not excite. Breakfast, however, was good.

Attention vous descendez en prestations !
Reservation de dernière minute, jai pris une chambre en demi-pension. Chambre correcte si ce nest quelle est à côté des ascenseurs et donc bruyante. Dans la salle de bain ça sentait l'urine, et le rideau de douche etait salle avec des dépôts divers en bas. Diner et petit déjeuner correct , voir satisfaisant. Le personnel est toujours tres impliqué dans et établissement, merci à eux, à l'accueil et la restauration.

To be avoided: dirty rooms (hairs on towels, chewingum on the floors), extra small and very old towels. Unprepared staff (only 1 could comminicate in english, nobody knew anything about surroundings). Breakfast: not enough personnel, poor quality quantity and variety of food and drinks.
