Place is right below olive young!! So i did some major skin care shopping . Myeongdong night market every night from 5-10pm. Shopping and restaurants tons to do. Isaac toast best lunch ever! Location is what you paid for this place. Im solo traveller, i had the two twin bedroom with private washroom of my own. So it was enough space for me. This room perfect for solo traveller, it might be hard for a family though. Breakfast is boring but i dont eat breakfast. However, isaac toast is 1 min away!! Best toast i ever tasted!

At first i was worried about this hotel when we got there. But the staff was so kind. The rooms work just great for my sister and my daughters. There was one gentleman that went out of his way to make conversations with us and made us for very welcomed. All and all i would definitely stay here again.

We were pleasantly surprised at our stay in Step Inn. It is clean and the people in the reception are helpful. And the location is good since it is close to the myeondong street market and all the major attractions in Seoul.

Pros: Great area right next to bunch of shopping/eating Olive Young is next door (skincare store) About 5-10 min walk to subway Free breakfast (toast, cheese, ham, cereal, coffee, cooked egg) Bidet Laundry for 3,000 won each wash/dryer Cons: No windows so it gets stuffy. AC helps but bc it’s a small room its not comfortable. Room might be small for some ppl And charging port was underneath a cabinet but no stool or put your stuff on it unless your cord is long. A little outdated The beds are not comfy, its hard

Right next to the night market, close to some amazing restaurants and subway. Walls are a little thin so you can hear your neighbours. Staff helpful and easily available. Overall a really comfortable experience.

For the price we paid for this hotel, we found a jewel. Right in the middle of Myeong-dong, we had the best access to restaurants, shopping, transportation and local sites. We were very happy with our stay.

We stayed at 6 different place on our trip and the stay at Step Inn Myeongdong 1 was everyone's absolute favourite. We met the Manager (June) and he was extremely helpful as we problem solved a few issue. The room was cute, clean and very functional. Breakfast each morning was great. Location Location Location - it was amazing.

Clean the rooms properly. The bathroom was disgusting. Look into the tiny trashcans in the bathrooms, there is poop on the trashcan lid.

Literally the most uncomfortable beds my wife and I have ever slept on. The bed was SUPER hard and the felt the bed springs! Then there's ever shower pressure, temperature, positioning that were absolutely infuriating. ALL THREE would be constantly changing while you were showing even if you didn't touch a thing! It was a mistake choosing this place. The only thing good about this place was that the location was great, but holy... this is the last time we're going for anything lower than a 4 star hotel in this country.

You get what you paid for. I knew the room was small and it was. A bit of organisation is needed to move aroung with two suitcases. We had two rooms (one at begining of stay and one after we returned from Busan) and they are not equal. Second one was a tad bigger, had a small wardrobe and the nook under the bed allowed for our two suitcase to fit (mid size one). Appart from that they serve breakfast: tea/coffee, bread, cereal milk and juice but it does the job, and for the price you cannon complain. There are dozen of options donwstairs in the neighborhood anyway. The best part is the location. It is so conveniently located with the nigh market just bellow. It's even walking distance to many tourist attraction in Seoul. If your budget does not allow for a fancy hotel but don't want to stay in a shared room in an hostel or far away from city center I definitely recommend this place.

The room that we are staying smell like their are mote balls and not pleasant in our smell and the toilet bowl is not stable it is wobbling. The most beautiful experience that we have is the place is very near in Cathedral and the breakfast is good.

This property is in a fantastic location! So much to do and see around here but also close to buses and metro. The staff was also very helpful, I loved my stay here.

A Convenient Stay
We were happy to check in earlier as we just arrived from a 6.5 hr flight. The hotel is situated just outside the night food street with many retail outlets in the vicinity. Morning breakfast was simple and all right for us as it is free. The only con is a small room where you can open your hard case luggage properly.
