This property is not 5-star and not a 4-star, as positioned in Expedia and Trip Advisor.
1st, there was a minor booking error on our side which resulted in an extra charge which was not resolved by Expedia.
2nd, the sea is not accessible from the beach as it has a shallow bottom with sharp corals/stones coated with slippery seaweed.
3rd, the food selections were plenty, but most of the food was oily or loaded with sugar; the “diet” table’s food was scary to touch; “free” drinks were not drinkable, and even water was supplied from large canisters of unknown origin; most of the food was dumped into the waste containers at the end of the meal hours.
4th, rooms had outdated facilities/furniture, even in the most expensive units.
5th few businesses on the site run in circles offering the same services again and again, which was annoying.
The reception staff appeared disorganized and not cooperating; to meet the 4-star benchmark, all staff needs to be trained to understand how to behave and avoid showing their attitude. Overall, long way to improve to achieve the 4-star level.
