We would have liked to see more options at breakfast especially some hot options. They had a broken glass skylight in the pool area. Very conveniently located next to the lake and within walking distance to many local businesses. We would stay there again.

Thanks for staying with us, on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. We offer a light continental, as there are many great restaurants in a 2 block radius of the hotel. The skylight window is on order, and for safety reasons it is a triple pane window.

The remodeled rooms are clean and attractive. Great colors and very stylish! The on-site bar is comfortable and convenient. The staff is very welcoming, helpful and friendly.

On the water, so that’s nice. With recent updates, we thought it would be worth the extra price. But the rude staff at the desk negated any upgrades they made. The buffet breakfast is very limited and the gas station has better options. Even the coffee was terrible. Not worth the money

The staff members were friendly and helpful. The property was ideal for those traveling with dogs as there is a very nice walking area. The room was comfortable and quiet. We wish we could have stayed longer.

The hotel is clean and comfortable and quiet. The windows could use a face lift. The outside could be updated but a comfortable stay, pet friendly and at a good price!!

Beautiful lake view
We were pleased with the property overall, clean room and property but there were a couple issues that I would like to mention. Property security: the side entrance to the building near our room (room # 154) did not lock or even close properly - anyone could just walk into the building. Also, the deadbolt lock in our room did not work. You could only turn it about 1/3 of the way and it wouldn't go any farther than that. the security stop di work so that did give some sense of security. In the room the pocket door to the bathroom did not work smoothly at all. It took both of us to open or close it when we used the bathroom. One note about housekeeping - they did come and "clean" as we requested, but they did not provide us with clean towels or coffee pods for the coffeemaker even though they did replenish the cups to make the coffee. Beautiful lake view from the property and we will be back in the future.....

Staff was nice and helpful but the property was run down. I expected more for $200 a night. Review said full breakfast was included and we got a minimal continental breakfast.

I was very disappointed. The upper levels smelled like cigarette smoke. Ice machine broke. Hot tub cold, sand in it and the water was the color of dirty mop water. Also sauna was broke.

Changes not for the better
Lobby and halls hadn’t been refreshed in decades, and it didn’t feel clean. Room was fine. Breakfast had changed dramatically since my last visit. Selection was less than minimal. Also, no cups available for the beverages offered.

Our guest hallways were updated in early spring, all new wall vinyl, paint, new ceiling tiles, and all new lighting.We also have done a full property renovation of all guest rooms and meeting space. We have not served a hot breakfast since 2019..We are sorry you were disappointed with your stay.

The lady at the front desk was really friendly and helpful! The hotel was quiet and with in walking distance of good eats. The Maritime Museum next door was a fun visit also. I would recomend this hotel for anyone visiting Manitwoc.

For as much as we paid to stay here it was lacking all around. Our toilet was not working in the hotel room, the breakfast was just cereal cups and everything bagels, and the atmosphere was just ok. We were overall not as impressed with this hotel as we thought we would be when booking.

Only thing seemed hard was controlling temp in the unit. Also, I have to be Gluten Free… not much to eat in the continental breakfast choices. Maybe could consider some pre-cooked hard boiled eggs??

Nice updates but there were spiders in the halls and other area Breakfast was disappointing from what they use to offer. It was mostly donuts english muffins bagels no hot food. Miss waffles and othe hot foods that were. offered. Stay was ok overall.
