I THOUGHT THE PROPERTY WAS VERY NICE FOOD AND SERVICE EAS GOOD.WE CAME TO SEE THE MOTOWN REVIEW. THE OPENING BAND WAS NOT WHAT I OR THE MAJORITY OF THE REST AUDIENCE EXPECTED.AND WAY TO MANY DRUNKS.

We love everything about the Ostoff except the parking In the cold weather it is quite a hike from the lot to the door

Christmas Show at Osthoff resort
First time there went with another couple. We attended the Christmas show with Wendy Newcomer and Doug Allen Nash. Enjoyed, will probably be back next year. Nice to stay right at resort, show, restaurants and places to get a drink under one roof. Have to stay longer next time. Very comfortable rooms.

This is a beautiful resort in a beautiful location! I especially enjoy the entertainment they bring to the resort. Highly looking foward to seeing Ikons of Rock again there!

A lot of young and inexperienced staff that are in need of better training. If Sergio, chef, had not intervened, the birthday dinner would have been an absolute disaster. Kudo's to Sergio, demerits to the rest of the waitstaff. Not worth the rate being charged. Feels like they are living off of a reputation, not quality of operations.

We enjoyed our first stay at the at Osthoff Resort. Bar staff at the Elk Room was very nice and drinks were delicious. The hot tub and sauna were very clean. We ordered take out from Ollie’s that was very good as well. Our room was very spacious we enjoyed the fireplace. We will be back.

The lakefront was beautiful the common areas were uniuqe the photos on the wall were quite fascinating, will be coming back for holiday festivities. Been hard to walk as I am on the mend from hip surgery, a maintenance man carried my bags as we missed an elevator. Hard to navigate as it is an older property but that is also the charm.

The landscaping, the property was amazing. The opportunity to do a lot or sit and rest at watch the water. The room service was awesome. Playing a few video games, the horror VR game was so fun as an adult, I never did that. Making a trip to candy was cute, even thou only 4 M&M’s came out for .50 cents. The actual room had a great whirlpool tub, so relaxing. I think they could put a better coffee maker in the room, coffee pot and coffee with plastic packets of dried powder creamer was awful. I also didn’t like the carpet stains everywhere in 214B. The balcony was awesome and we slept with door open and screen door closed, so refreshing. Waking up to sun peaking thru made the things that I didn’t like okay.

I was disappointed in my stay largely because my room while large was dated and in need of multiple repairs. The staff was lovely and very accommodating but from the minute I walked in until the morning that I left, I had to have them fix things in order to be able to use them. For instance, my bathtub did not drain when I went to use the television the remote needed new batteries, when I went to turn on the fireplace, it was not operational. Additionally, there were virtually no food options and unfortunately the wing I was in just smelled stale and dirty.

The capeting in the hallway was being replaced, I had an allergic reaction from the carpet adhesive. Mild iching eyes and runny nose. Nothing too terrible, annoying.

The restaurant Otto's (which is the only place to get breakfast) was very understaffed. We waited at our table for 20 minutes before we got place settings, drinks, our order, etc....At least 3 servers walked right past us and didn't even acknowledge that we were there. Also, it would be really nice if they offered complimentary coffee in the lounge area - instead you had to wait in a long line (again, only one server) just to get an expensive cup of coffee. I can see charging for specialty coffees but regular coffee should be available at no additional cost.

This property was once a top tier establishment. I haven’t been here in several years and I don’t think anything has changed, it’s still the same furniture and decor. The rooms are now full of furniture that is damaged and antiquated. They are still charging rates and resort fees for a high class luxury facility but you could get the same experience at any other 4 or even 3 star establishment. Housekeeping was ok, had hair all over the bathroom when we checked in. The food is good, not outstanding. The grounds look nice. I am very disappointed in the price vs experience. I’d have to see some significant improvements to return. When you’re spending over $400 a night you expect a higher quality overall.

Wonder filled stay for a family reunion. The water activities were the highlight for our children and grandchildren. We enjoyed the evening live entertainment and abundant group sitting areas. Thank you.

You really need a GPS to manage the right exit or to find your room if you are first time guests at the resort. Other than that is a very nice resort 👌

I love the Osthoff. Elkhart Lake and the resort is beautiful. I return every year! I gave four stars because our shower was dirty, and I can tell that it wasn't cleaned for some time. Secondly, we had to call maintenance because our TV wasnt working. Lastly, the siding surrounding our balcony was FULL of spider webs and bugs.

It’s in historic Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. On the beach, walking distance to every part of town and everyone treats you like a friend.

Tennis Couple Resort Review
The exterior of the hotel, the grounds & the beach and pool amenities are excellent! However the rooms and carpet need to upgraded. It did not impact our stay or experience but that is the only thing that prevents me from giving this resort a 5 stars in every area. The service & staff were wonderful! One other thing, the tennis court needs to be re surfaced.
