Lovely experience very pleasant and in the midst of nature. Travelling is a bit of an issue since the last 25km leading to the hotel have no roads. It’s literally just big mountain size pot holes.

This property is very nice, it is located in a deep forest of the Sahyadris- a little remote, but yet is well maintained. However, there is some miscommunication among the staff as we tried to book an activity but no one answered at the activity desk, so we attempted to book it through the reception. We confirmed our booking for the activity with the reception and asked them to forward the information to the activity desk. However, it was not booked and the staff tried to book us on another different activity the next day. This activity was not of interest to us, but they managed to finally take us for our desired activity after 45 minutes of argument. There is a limited menu, and the food is no great shakes except for some of the Indian and oriental items.

The staff service and food is excellent. Our checkin process was not good. No one answered the calls at reception desk and instructions were not clear.

Amazing stay
Amazing .. the road to reach is terrible from Lonavala. So please call up hotel and ask for the better direction. Food is a tad bit expensive. But service is exceptional

A good relaxing holiday at Hilton Shilim
We had a very relaxing family holiday. The property is nice, very spread out, but with good walking treks, and a friendly pick-up and drop service offered by the hotel. Very picturesque, amazing flora and a fabulous range of birds chirping away. Carry a good camera to capture their pics!

Not happy with the resort.
We had a stay with friends for 1 night and were not really happy with the property. To start with roads are really bad leading to the property. For some reason only 1 restaurant with half of the menu option was available for lunch and dinner.. Service was just ok. Charges for food was really over priced... Rooms mentioned on the site and actual ones are so different. Didn't look like 22k worth room at all with no view nothing.. Clarity of room types and pictures mentioned i think are misleading.. No vanity kit or slippers available so really not 5 star service for me. Had to call n request of all the item.. Last order or room service is till 10.30pm so you can't plan late night dinner even the in room one. And to add to our disappointment at the time of leaving the valet guy literally got a long scratch on my car and after bringing that up they were not ready to own to their fault. We had a new car with no scratches at all and this was really unfortunate n totally disappointing scene. I really won't visit this place ever again...

Highly recommended
Beautiful property i don't know why the rating is bad..we stayed for 1 night and we loved it...coming from the hustle and bustle of the city the hotel and its villas provides you with peace and comfort..The only thing which i want the hotel should improve is their Indian cuisine which was a disappointment nevertheless their Italian food at the pool side was very good. I would highly recommend this place its a good weekend gateway place....

The rooms are okay. Bathroom is spacious. Property is good, Spacious and lot of things to do. However I found it way too over priced as compared to the kind of services, amenities etc they offer. You can get better options at this price.

Awesome for some quality couple time..
45 mins of terrible drive (road) leading to the property but absolutely worthed. Excellent location, awesome hospitality. Well groomed/mannered staff. A PERFECT COUPLES RETREAT. CONS- 1. No mobile connectivity 2. Limited food options 3. Jain food a big hassle

Hotel was fine. Rather dated and hasn't been upgraded in a while. The vehicles for pick up took ages to come. Room service and food menu was rather limited and food cold. On the positive, the location is truly stunning. Defo worth going once. Not a repeat visit

Overall property is amazing- very clean, serene, and well maintained. Service is great too. Villas are too good and one gets very close to nature Spa is highly overrated and priced. You will be surprised that they don’t have bath facility in the spa center and they ask you to go your villa (For which you need a shuttle) with bathrobe. Very average massage rooms with no music- you can have a better experience at any average spa than here Restaurant is good with limited options (understandably so) but the kid menu is very limited making it difficult for folks with kids

March Weekend in Shillim
This property is beautiful They have a bunch of activities that are a part of your stay and run as per a defined time table, which adds to the overall experience Their Spa services get booked well in advance Their staff is very courteous and the hospitality is splendid. The approach road from Lions point towards the resort is particularly bad and broken. While our Honda City did just fine, could’ve been easier with an SUV The dinner at the Mountain Bar was great The breakfast quality could be improved

The stay was great but due to full occupancy, the internal transport seemed difficult to get through. Everything else was perfect and the place is a must visit.

Right from check in its outstanding.. the staff is very courteous and makes u feel welcome.the rooms r well made..i stayed in a forest king villa and m compĺetely satisfied..the restaurants r good if u hav any special diet requirements like JAIN FOOD u cn explain them properly and they wud do all thts needed..its a place to cut urself from ur day to day stress and hassles..basically a get lost kinda place..hotel spread across 350 acres in a slightly remote area has its little issues..bt thts been covered up by the always on toes staff..

Service, Property and Villa was excellent. There was power cut too many times. Food could be better. Pool should have been a heated pool. Could not use it because water was too cold. Don't go for spa pool villa in winter. Doors don't work properly. Did not feel safe at night.

Nothing around the property. Food is overpriced. Nothing to do at the property either. Certain restaurants shut by 8pm. Road leading to the property is beyond saving. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Could be better for the price
Negatives: Place is out of the way, pain to get to. Food is over-priced - CARRY SNACKS! Lots of crying babies on weekends. Positives: super friendly staff. Beautiful property. Comfy rooms.
